Exchange damaged iPhone 6 with a new one
Hey, I was wondering if I can change my iPhone 6 which is damaged due to being dropped on asphalt and having a crack on half of the screen to a new one, when i'm on a plan with Telstra. Cheers
If you have StayConnect you might be able to be covered for damaged caused by dropping but generally speaking unless you have opted for StayConnected or have it otherwise insured then the phone would not be covered for user caused damage.
If you have StayConnected you can call the StayConnected team and arrange the replacement with them (132200 and say "Stay Connected")
If you do not you can recontract your plan to get a new device on a new plan however you would have to pay a $50 early recontracting fee and pay out any remaining costs associated with the current phone or any accessories.

Warranty and Support are only valid in the country of origin. You will need to take the device to whatever country it originally came from.
Apple will not accept shipments from outside the country nor will they return it to an address outside the country. -
Can I replace my current iPhone 5s with a new one in this case?
I just got my iPhone 5s two days ago, but it already has problems when I was trying to text with it while charging. The phone was doing all these random things like mis-sensed my typing really badly, jumping out to the main screen and even called the person I was texting. I even tried typing messages in Whatsapp, it constantly hides the keyboard from time to time and that's really irritating. While it's on lock screen, I could not slide to unlock it, I had to use my finger scan to access my phone in the end. The phone went normal again once I got the charge unplugged, but it went crazy again once I got it plugged in. I truely believe it's something wrong with the phone rather than the charger. Can I replace my current phone with a new one in this case?
Take it back. This is a warranty/purchase issue. We are just users here.

So I bought this iPhone 5 probably a year ago now, and I want to exchange it for a new iPhone 5, or if possible an iPhone 5s (if they don't have iPhone 5 anymore), idk.
EITHER WAY, I've read in the web a little about this and apparently I can't do it via going to a physical retail store. Or can I?
ps: on a side note, I heard I need to pay a $50 dollars fee in order to use my AppleCare + warranty, the "exchange your iPhone for a new one" one.
But a friend here in Mexico actually just exchanged his and they didn't charged him a thing. Is this also the same in the US? Can I exchange it here in Mexico? Or what are my options here, since I bought it from Apple.com/online?The program is for replacement since Apple does not repair iDevices...you take your non-working or damaged iPhone to an Apple store genius bar, or send to Apple service, and they provide a refurbished unit as a replacement, for a fee, of course. You will have to talk with Apple to see if you get all components or just the iPhone replaced.
With AppleCare+ you can have two out-of-warranty replacements for a cost of $49 each. -

An iPhone is supported only in the country in which the iPhone was originally sold. If you are living in a country other than the one in which you purchased the iPhone, you will not be able to get service there. You will need to take the iPhone back to its original country or send it to someone you know there to get it replaced.
As to the process, that will depend on the country of sale and from where you purchased the iPhone. If you can clarify that, we can provide more specfic information.

Can I exchange my iPhone 5 for a new one?
I bought my iPhone 5 the day it came out (September 20, 2013) so I have had it for a little more than two years and it still works perfectly. I was just wondering how upgrades work in terms of me being able to trade in my iPhone 5 for a more recent model like the iPhone 6 and when and if I am able to do it. I haven't been to an Apple store in a while and I haven't had the time to, although I would imagine they would be able to answer my question easily.
Thank you.To add to what AnyPats stated, Apple DOES (on occasion) purchase older devices for store credit (amount depending on the condition and memory size of the device). You would need to visit a retail store to see if your phone would be accepted.

You can only obtain warranty OR post warranty service in the country of original purchase
As your iPhone has user damage it has no warranty
IF the iPhone originated from Spain or another EU country you can get out of warranty service in any EU country -

Yep, that's the only message that popped out. Nothing else. Yes, it's running on the latest ios and I still can't restore it. I called apple and they told me it's probably something wrong with their servers. Anyway thanks for the advice.

Can't get my Music off of my iPhone 4...
My computer died & had to get a new one, so now I cannot sync my iPhone 4 with the new computer, without losing all of my Music, because the only Music I have is on the iPhone 4 only, not on the computer. No Backup anywhere : (

I got my pictures off because you can access them when you connect the iPhone using Windows 7 but you cannot see any of the music so you cannot access it when using windows so don't know what to do...
Help...The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to move everything to your new computer. -

Well the title says it all really.
I have to sync my iphone 4 with my new laptop as the old one broke. How do I do this without losing all my pictures, music, contacts & things purchased form the itunes store?
It seems really silly that everything gets wiped off the phone when using a different laptop. This problem must happen quite often as I am sure I am not the only person who has had a pc that has broken.
I hope you someone can help. All the stuff on my phone is important to me.
