Exchange did notPush. MobileMe do Push

Hello,
I have set an account with MobileMe (home Email) and the Email are pushed into my Iphone
I have set exchange on my Iphone (work email) but email are not pushed?
I have to sync manually
Any clue?
Exchange will never push or is this a settings in the exchange server?
Thanks

Hello, the big issue I've seen with setting up Exchange is with the server name you enter - It should be the ActiveSync server and not the OWA or Exchange Server. It makes a difference if you're using Exchange 2003 or 2007
Here are the best guides I've found so far for setting the iPhone up for Exchange push

Please have a look through these first and come back if you're still having issues.
Hope this helps.

You will need to find a third party solution for online storage in order to share things like photos with others. Some popular solutions to this are dropbox and sugarsync.
You cannot sync non-iCloud email accounts across your iOS devices and computers unless they are IMAP accounts like iCloud. If they are IMAP accounts, you will do it in the same way as you have always done.

Keynote should work ok with Lion. Are you running the latest version?

    Hey there RMBrizzolara,
It sounds like you have downloaded iTunes from the download site, but when you connect the phone to your computer you are prompted to update iTunes to 11.1. I would start by opening iTunes and then verifying the version that is running with this article:
iTunes: How to find which version you are using
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1208
    On Windows
    Open iTunes.
On the Help menu, click About iTunes. A window appears with scrolling text. The first text that appears displays the iTunes version (press the Space bar to freeze the text if it's moving too fast for you to read).
Also when you download the iTunes installer, you MUST double click the file that was downloaded to install it.
You can check in your Programs folder and try running the iTunes application from there to see if that works.
    Cheers,
    Sterling

  • MobileMe still pushing out calendars

Is it me or is MobileMe still pushing Calendars, I have several old calendars listed "On My Mac" and no matter what I do they keep coming back, I delete them in iCal, I can see that the files get taken out of the user/librarycalendar folder  but lo and behold hours later they will be back
They seem to affect the iCloud as well since on my phone is now two Birthday Calendars I can't get rid of one of them. I even restored my phone as new and it was working perfect for awhile and then boom back with the two birthday calendars

There is an update, Firefox 16.0.1, so no need to roll back to 15.0.1 as far as I know. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/#desktop
Not sure what to say about Secunia. Presumably they update their database quite frequently since they are in the business of replacing vulnerable software with updated software...
''Note: the 16.0.1 update became available about 4 hours ago. You should be able to get it immediately using Help > About Firefox > Check for Updates''

  • Exchange emails don't get pushed in iOS7

    Hi,
Since I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS7, all my email accounts (hotmail, gmail, exchange) don't get pushed automatically to my phone. I need to go inside the application and slide down in order to download new emails. I have enabled the push option to every account, i have tried the fetch option too but without any results. Can someone please tell me if this is a problem with the new iOS or do I need to change any settings in order to start downloading my emails automatically again?

I have the exact same problem on my iPhone 4: My Hotmail account stopped pushing as soon as I updated to iOS 7 (even though push is still turned on). Now, I have to go into the mail app and pull down to download new emails. It is inconvenient to the extreme: because I'm so used to getting push emails, if I don't see/hear/feel a new mail notification, I just assume I haven't received any new emails. What a surprise it is to discover that 10 or 20 have built up since I last remembered to manually update my email.
This is certainly a big enough problem to make me consider other phones.

  • IPhone 2.0 exchange calendar sync issue with PUSH enabled

I have setup Push sync over Exchange for my iPhone. If I accept an incoming meeting request it does not update Entourage calendar. If I change delivery setting to fetch, the issue disappears. Is this a known bug? BTW - several of my work colleagues have noted the same issue. All are Entourage users too.

You can accept/decline/mark tentative any meetings sent to you, and you can also edit meetings you create (whether on the phone or in Outlook, OWA, etc).
IMPORTANT: make sure your user name for the Exchange account as entered on your iPhone exactly matches the case of the user name set up on the Exchange server. (Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Your-Exchange-Account > Account Info). Set both the Email and Username fields to exactly match the case of your email and username on Exchange. Look up yourself in the Exchange Address Book in Outlook and see how it's entered. i.e. [email protected] must be entered in the iPhone with the same capitalization. I also edited my own contact cards to match -- just to be sure.
Otherwise, the iPhone gets confused with meeting invites and might ask you to Accept/Maybe/Decline your own meetings! If this is the case, you also won't be able to edit meetings on the iPhone even if you create them.
As far as i know, the above is only true for Exchange accounts. I had this problem, and solved it last night.

  • How do I place files in iCloud like I did with MobileMe?

Is there a way to login to iCloud through a web browser and upload files into a folder? Like I currently do with MobileMe? This was the 1 feature of MobileMe that Iactually use and now it seems that iCloud cannot even do this. Please advise.

Well, if you paid $99 a year only ever to use the iDisk functionality of MobileMe, then perhaps for you, it is.
But lots of people use many other features of iCloud, such as Push email, contact, calendar & bookmark syncing, iOS backups, Find my Friends, Find my iPhone, Back to my Mac, App & Book syncing, Documents in the Cloud, Photo Stream, etc. etc.
For those people, iCloud is very useful, and free.

  • IPhone / MobileME calendar push

I'm using MobileME on a trial basis - so far i like it alright. i have a Yahoo! and Gmail email accounts both forwarding to my new "me.com" account. in mobileME, i can make a calendar entry on my laptop and my iMac at home and everything pushes up to the 'cloud'. but when i make a calendar entry on my iPhone, it does not automatically push the info out. my iPhone settings for mail/calendar/contacts are as follows:
fetch new data > PUSH (ON)
    wondering what the problem is.
only complaint about mobileME is that there is no SPAM control.

You know, it sort of resolved itself.
I changed it from 1 Month to All Events, let it sit for a while, and then switched it back. That seemed to refresh iPhone's memory of what it had and had not synced, because now the push changes are working perfectly between iPhone and MobileMe for all calendars.
(Alternately, it could have been fixed by Invisible iPhone Gnomes. Whichever one sounds better.)

  • IPhone MobileMe account push mail

    Hi,
I'm having some trouble getting my push mail (.mac address) to work on the IPhone. I know that there have been certain issues with MobileMe and the whole push stuff... are these issues still going on?
Also deleted mails on the IPhone don't get deleted on the cloud, but I've learnt from the forum that this is a known bug.
    Any help, please?

You might get a better response if you ask in the dedicated *MobileMe on iPhone and iPod Touch > MobileMe Mail* forum, as that is where people who are using MobileMe are most likely to see posts relating to it.

  • Sync Contacts between Exchange account and MobileMe account

On my iPad I use two different email accounts: one Exchange account with ActiveSync and one MobileMe account.
How can I consolidate or sync Contacts between the two accounts?
At least, I would like to be able to move contacts from my MobileMe account to my Exchange account. Is that possible?
Thanks in advance for any hints or advice.
    --Torben

You could each add the others iCloud to your devices as a secondary account in mail, contacts, calendars and just enable the services you wish to use.

  • IPhone: Can I have Exchange email and MobileMe email on the same iPhone?

I just got an iPhone 3G from my company. At work, we use Microsoft Outlook, so that's what I have on my iPhone. At home I have a Mac and I use a .Mac account that has been upgraded to MobileMe. I'd like to be able to access my personal MobileMe email on my iPhone without messing up my Exchange email. Is this possible?

Yes. On my iPhone I currently have my Exchange account via ActiveSync, as well as my MobileMe account. In addition to email, I can also see my MobileMe Home and Work calendars, along with my various Exchange calendar folders, either separately or merged (with color-coded dot to let me know which one came from which account).

  • HT4686 How can I publish my website developed using iWeb and have all functions of the blog page work as it did with MobileMe?

I have developed a website using iWeb and it includes a blog page selected from stock pages in iWeb.  I'm publishing it with GoDaddy and when I do that the interactive functions of the blog page don't work. (Adding comments and photos as well as searching).  Is there any simple way to host this site somewhere so that those functions work?

No, because all those functions were MobileMe only and now that MobileMe has gone, they won't function any longer.
To enable these to function, you either need to add them yourself or change your blogging platform to something else such as WordPress etc., and create a link from iWeb to your WordPress blog or embed the blog page using iframe into your iWeb site.
Commenting systems such as Disqus or http://www.intensedebate.com work quite well.

  • Mobileme not pushing to my phone

I have a g1 phone and downloaded all the new software for the Mac, itunes and 2.0. I see my contacts at my mobileme account. See them on itunes and have synced them on to my phone from itunes but every time I change my settings on the phone to mobileme it erases them from the phone and never syncs them with mobileme.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I am having the same exact problem. Please explain in detail how to change from mac to me on the iPhone. when I go into contacts, calendars etc. I see my .me account but when i go into the account information it says: address with a .mac.com that i cannot change. otherwise the description says .me
    i am very confused.
    the smtp still says smtp.mac.com
any ideas how i can change it on iPhone?

  • MobileMe not Pushing Mail to Folders on iPhone/iPad

The server side rules for Mobile Me mail is welcome. So all mail from work can be sent directly to a folder called "Work"
However, mail is not pushed to any folders other than InBox so there is no notification that new mail has arrived in "Work". In fact mail is not downloaded to that folder until you access it on your iPhone/iPad.
If you have many folders then the only way to know if mail has arrived is to laboriously click on each one.
Anyone have any ideas? Is Apple going to fix this basic problem that should have been considered when introducing server side rules?

I also would like to know the answer to this question.
