Hi all,
I have been trying for months to find information on when my cabinet will be fibre enabled.
I tried all the links in the sticky at the top of this forum before posting this.
My exchange (Lisburn, Northern Ireland) has been fibre enabled for some time, and according to the nibroadband website (http://nibroadband.com/where-is-superfast), practically every cabinet in Lisburn except mine (Cabinet 70) is fibre enabled.
Noone seems to be able to provide me with any concrete information on a rollout plan for this cabinet.
I live in a relatively new development, however the cabinet also serves a number of existing streets in the surrounding area which have been there for years. My only thought is that when the Lisburn Cabinets were being enabled, ours was skipped due to not enough connected lines. However that is a guess, and i would think that now the housing development contains upwards of 100 new houses, plus all of the existing streets in the surrounding area that if this was the reason, then maybe the decision now needs revisited due to the increased number of connected lines.
Lisburn was one of the first parts of Northern Ireland to receive Fibre, and i live about 300metres from the City Centre...so it's not like i am 20 miles out in a rural area. This is an area surrounded by houses, businesses and shops.
Does anyone here have access to a cabinet rollout database and can provide some sort of concrete information on when this cabinet will be enabled?

only openreach have cabinet rollout information if you have run the checker https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html and no mention of FTTC then you will just have to wait as cabinet not in current rollout plans

OK. I searched out here and found things close to what I need: how to suspend and restore LCR but I need another answer. I have gotten a new backup solution (Unitrends) and the Microsoft exchange write appears twice. I'm guessing one is for my first storage
group and one is for LCR. Anyway it appears the software is trying to use the replication writer which is causing my backups to fail. Here is my question: what EXACTLY happens when I suspend the LCR (Suspend Storage Group Copy)? Does this affect regular exchange/email
transport and receiving at all? Basically if I disable it will mail continue to flow as normal with no adverse affects? And what EXACTLY happens when I disable LCR. What if I decide I don't need it. Will disabling it affect normal email operations? Basically

Hi,
Based on my knowledge, suspending LCR doesn't affect the mail flow. If there is no need for LCR, you can disable LCR, and then please manually delete the LCR storage group and databaase fles.

You'd have to think through this, but it seems like if you are using Outlook, and the items vanished from the Outlook client as well as the server,that you could re-populate Outlook using iTunes.

Did you log out of one account and into the other or just used Fast user switching?
Is the permissions set to anyone?
When you move data to teh Shared folder is it copied or just moved?
If copied then it's not a folder both can access, just a way station like a USB thumb drive that things are coped too and off of likely.
You can run this #5 on each user account to reset the user permissions once they are taken back out of the Shared folder

I am so sorry to inform you that Acrobat XI Standard is not available on Mac, you can only use it on your Windows computer.
You can also refer to the system requirements at : System requirements | Acrobat family of products—older versions (XI, X, 9)

Ive had to reboot my Apple TV before I had the option to enable iTunes Match but it did not see my music library. I tried a second reboot and it still says my music library is empty. Its been several days and I can access my library on a Windows PC, my Mac and my iPad so Im all synced up, my Apple TV apparently just wants to be stubborn.

Ok, so I've been struggling with this issue for months. I was looking around today on here and didn't find much information. But, I took a couple of different things and tried them. I'm not sure WHICH helped, but here is what I did and MySpace just uploaded successfully on my Blackberry Curve.
I deleted the MySpace Application from the App List (Options (The wrench)-Advanced Options-MySpace-Menu Button-Delete)
I restarted my phone
I changed the theme from the AT&T to the BB Dimension Zen (Options-Theme- BB Dimension Zen)
I logged onto my Browser and went to www.myspace.com
I clicked on the "Download MySpace for your Blackberry" or whatever it says
Before I clicked "Download", I checked the "Set Application Permissions" box.
I clicked "Download"
It took me to the Application Permissions
I changed the first two from "Custom" to "Allow"
I hit the back arrow on my phone
I chose "Save"
It started downloading
When it was finished, MySpace was listed under my Applications and is WORKING!!! HALLELUJAH! I'm not sure WHICH of those seemingly MANY steps made it work, but it did!

Check your Applicaitons folder.
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 < your profile
Xcode's minimum requirements according to the App Store under Information is OS X v10.7.3 or later.
If you are running v10.7.2, click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click Software Update.
That should bring your Mac up to date to v10.7.4.
Then try re downloading Xcode.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

I recommend to check www.icloud.com, are your contacts shown there?
If not -> Something might be not set up correctly on you iOS devices.
Also.. Simple but maybe occuring: Contacts -> Preferences -> Accounts -> iCloud is enabled? (Should be by default if you have iCloud setup via the system preferences, but you never know..)

If you are hosting with Libsyn or most any other "Podcast" host you should be ok.

If you are on a self hosted site or worse yet using some file storage service like Dropbox - then you are going to have issues.
Again - this leter from Apple does not mean anything is wrong wth your show specifically - it is a generic letter going out to all podcasters.

The disc plainly state:
To use the AHT, hold down the D key as the computer starts up.
Works here. However, there was an issue with installing Lion that screwed this process up.
Mount disc 2, run this command in the Terminal app, OPTION-click & hold Finder's Dock icon, and select RELAUNCH:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 1
That unhides all hidden files/folders.
Now, drill down to /"Applications Install\ Disc"/System/Library/CoreServices/ and drag the .diagnostics folder into your Lion boot volume's /System/Library/CoreServices/ folder. That might require you to authenticate to copy the folder into the CoreServices subfolder.
Run this command to hide the normally hidden files/folders and RELAUNCH the Finder again.
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 0
This should allow the machine to boot into AHT when restarting and holding down the D key.
If that doesn't do the trick, run this command in the Terminal app:
sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/CoreServices/.diagnostics
At the Password: prompt, carefully type in your admin password, since nothing shows up on the screen, and hit the return key. Then, try another restart, holding down the D key.
