Exchange error at login: Collaboration Data Objects error '00000505'

Hi,
Until recently, I haven't had any problems with the Exchange portlets. Suddenly, I get the following error and can no longer login. Would
you have any ideas on how to resolve this problem?

I don't know why the sudden error comes up. Did anything change in your configuration between when it was working and now?
As for a workaround, please see the PDK-March (now available) for a more up to date version of the Exchange portlets. This version should get around this error.

Hi Rajesh,
I believe you had created an SWCV that is enabled for Backward Compatibility 'Uses NW04/NW04s MI application' and created a Data Object in this SWCV. Ideally, when the SWCV is enabled for Backward Compatibility, the Data Objects should be created by importing the text file as Data Objects from a MI 7.0 server. Since you have not done that way, you are getting this error.
I would suggest that you create a new SWCV and do not check the option 'Uses NW04/NW04s MI application'. Now create the Data Object again and try to activate it and you should be able to activate it.

Hello,
I have sceanrio where file->Synchronus bapi ->File.
For this I have defined a bpm.
Text file inut will be read and converted using sender FCC.
Bpm will call a synchronus bapi from r/3 and collect response. I need to create a success or error response file from the status of bapi response. I have used switch step to do that.
But here when I give condtion as this XPath SOResonse./p1:Z_BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROM3.Response/RETURN1/TYPE = S, SXI_CACHE gives status of bpm as 99 and error message is 'TYPE' is not a component of data object 'PAYLOAD'.
At the same time if i just put a condition of simple type container variable (SuccessCounter = 0), it gives status 0 in SXI_CACHE.
Pl can anyone suggest on this as its urgent.

DOBJ.UPDATE_FAILED error while attaching adapters to Users Data Object

PROBLEM DESCRITPION:-
The following error occured while trying to attach entity adapters to Users Data Object (com.thortech.xl.dataobj.tcUSR) in Post-Update section.

Kindly suggest to fix this issue.

Resolved the DOBJ.UPDATE_FAILED problem - I modified the dvt_data_level to 0 for dvt_post_update_sequence selective entries.

Error while generating Data Objects in sdoe_wb SAP for Basis component

Dear all,
While generating SAP BASIS Components getting error
After installations of SAP Netweaver Mobile 7.1 SP11 and all the Notes applied for SP11 i have done the Generation for all the SAP BASIS Data Objects
All the Data objects are generated except AGENT_CONFIG, ARCHIVE
When i check the same in smq2 it shows the error in Function module SDOE_GENERATE_MBO for the user FUNC001,in status text it shows "connection closed (no data)"
kindly help on this issue.

Hi,
well, I guess if you mean you did reset the queue - you deleted all emtries with error. Try to avoid this in the future - you will get unwanted side effects by that. There are only a few errors that make this behaviour necessary.
Usually you should select the entry on the first screen - so you see the status of the queue on the second one. On there you can select the queue and while pressing the green tick, you can restart it. If it is a timeout - this restart usually helps.
Wondering why you have an issue with basis objects - did you run through the complete setup guide up to this point?

following piece of code was working fine in 4.6 C   but in ECC 6.0 I get the following error:
"   "END_OF_RECORD" must be a character-type data object (data type C, N,D, T or STRING) . "
I tried type-casting with field symbols but still not able to remove the error. Cannot convert end_of_record directly to type C as it may hamper the functionality. Plz advice how to remove the error without converting type x to type C

How to Include Warnings/Error messages in Return Service Data Object

Hello All,
I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3.0, ADF BC. and want to publish Service-Enabled application modules, specifically I want to publish a custome method in the application module as a web service.
While going through Enable support for Service Interface wizard as explained in developer guide, in step 7 I read this

7. To expose service information messages such as warnings and exceptions for a custom method or warnings for process operation methods, select Include Warnings in Return Service Data Object. For example, you might want display an informational message when a method returns the total employee compensation and the total is outside of the desired range.
If Include Warnings is not selected, no informational messages will be returned with the service response. This option is only enabled when the method does not return a view row or a list
of view rows. When the method returns view rows, the underlying view object determines whether the method supports warnings, as described Section 11.2.4, "How to Service-Enable Individual View Objects." The informational messages (and warnings) are reported as part of the return object. JDeveloper generates appropriate wrappers as the return objects, and the wrappers contain the actual method return and the informational messages.

I tried to throw an exception in the method

This is fine if you raise exception from your code. It will be raised as a server fault only.

Runtime error when Transfering data from data object to a file

Hi everybody,
I'm having a problem when I transfer data from data object to file. The codes like following :
data : full_path(128).
OPEN DATASET full_path FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.
and transfer data from flat structure to this file full_path
move:    tab                 to c_output-tab_5,
              tab                 to c_output-tab_4,
              tab                 to c_output-tab_3.
transfer c_output to full_path.      // Error Line
The detail error like the following:
For the statement
   "TRANSFER f TO ..."
only character-type data objects are supported at the argument position
"f".
In this case. the operand "f" has the non-character-type "u". The
current program is a Unicode program. In the Unicode context, the type
'X' or structures containing not only character-type components are
regarded as non-character-type.
transfer c_output to full_path. " Line error
Please help me to fix this issue !

I found out that the structure c_output have the field with data type X. I know that the cause of the issue.
      begin of c_output,
         vbeln(10),
         tab_5 like tab,
         posnr(6),
         tab_4 like tab,
         topmat(18),
         tab_3 like tab,
     end of c_output.
data : tab type X value 9.
Could you tell me how to fix it ? What I have to do in this situation ?

Does your table is haveing the field called 'RADIO'?
If No, that is the reason it is giving error.Because your work are is having the structure of your table ZSDF.

One more doubt have written the CASE statement code in ABAP editor or directly in flow logic editor.

this is a known issue in the xml processing of the Java Virtual Machine. Please refer to the SAP Note for this issue: 1949395

Error during delta load for bulk upload data object

Hi All,
I am getting the following message in the backend integration logs for one of the bulk enabled data object.
Error message:
Unable to find parent record for record of node 'CHILD2'.
Message : SMMWKGN class 005.
Does anyone know about this error.
I have defined the the fields as key in child nodes which are defined as key fields in Header structure?
Also while executing the getlist and getdetail i am able to see all the related data?
Can somebody suggest?

Data Object cannot be opened / accessed error - help required

I am running a CR 2008 and have a report set against a SQL view linked via a ODBC link. The view however has been updated and now includes an extra field, which I need to add into my report.
When I use the Set Database Location to update the link I get an error message advising "Data Object cannot be opened/accessed". I click OK to this and then get a further error "Unknown Database Connector Error".
Also, when I go to refresh the report I get this error "The database table "..." cannot be found. Proceed to remove this table from the report?" - if I click no the report refreshes correctly anyway, so it must be able to connect.
I have also tried refreshing the fields in field explorer too, but the extra field doesnt appear.
Any help would be gratefully received.

I can connect to the view via a new blank report and the missing field appears. However when I go to verify database it says the database cannot be found. It asks me if I want to remove it from the report, I select No then it tells me the database is uptodate.
Via the set database location it gives me the error in the initial post.
I think I have a workaround in that if I add a new database table to the same sql view the extra field is in there - so I will manually have to go though the report and change each formula, running total, group, and record selection from the original to the new table, then remove the old table.
Frustrating but it does appear to work.

I have installed another server and i followed the same steps, i did it almost 20 times but it is not uploading the NWMCLIENT02_0.SCA. After that i extracted the .sca file and uploaded individual .sda files, everything is uploaded successfully except sap.comtcmobilesetupwin32.sda.
My Server details:
EHP Mobile 7.1 server installed on windows 7 64 bit OS.
Oracle 11g.
earlier i did the same thing in same configuration.
i have followed everything as per help.sap.com.
i dont know what is the exact problem, can u pls explain me why i am unable to do this.

Mapping errors between data object and automated activity

in a automated activity of a bpm process I try to call a web service method ("addBook") which exptects an object called u201CbookWrapperu201D. The object "bookWrapper" consist of three variables: u201Cbidu201D (Integer), u201Cauthoru201D (String), u201Ctitleu201D (String).
When I try to directly map, for example u201Ctitleu201D, out of an existing Data Object (Filled by an human activity: u201CDO_CreateBooku201D) I got the error:

Found list of u2018com.sap.dictionary.stringu2019

The literal: "Expression for target path 'DO_BookWrapper/title' has errors." do not have type, in expression: "#erroneous=true;sources=TaskOutput/UIResponse/start/title#TaskOutput/UIResponse/start/title". I do not know why this error occurs because both type are strings. Is it due to the fact that I do not have an object instead of variables as input parameters? I used the automatically generated data types as data objects.
May anybody help me please? Can I make casts?

From the error that you get, it is indicated that you try to map a list to a single variable.
If you want to do so, please see the documentation http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce711/helpdata/en/47/63604e42bf6831e10000000a421937/frameset.htm where it is said:
If you map a node, whose content is a list or a node, with one or more parents that are lists, to a single-valued node, you get an error. Depending on your needs you could provide custom expression, for example to aggregate the list to a single value, or you could do parent mapping between the multi-valued parent nodes.
So you need to create an EJB function that does the conversion between a list and single value type.
