Exchange forward meeting invites to people

I use Exchange at work and I receive lots of meeting invitations, some of them I need to forward to one my team members to attend on my behalf, or I need to extend this invitation to people I see relevant to the topic. There is no menu item or a button as "Forward". I need to know how to forward a received meeting invitation to someone else that they will receive it as an invitation and not a regular email

There is an app that allows this - called Forward My Meeting.  It allows you to forward any meeting in your calendar from the iPhone or iPad.
I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link.

Its missing or i cant find it or or or...   :-)   It accepts google meetings just fine. thoughts or experience with this one?  thanks in advance.

As far as I've been able to tell, the webOS calendar is able to understand meetings (basically events with attached attendees,) but does not yet have an interface to create them. However, that it understands them indicates to me that creation is coming as the code needed parse such a concept is clearly already "under the hood".

  • Issues when accepting meeting invite received via exchange

    Hi,
My iphone (3G 3.0) is syncing with push via an exchange server. What I am finding out is that when I accept, tentatively accept, or decline a meeting invite, I also am doing the same "On Behlaf of" whoever is on either side of me in the meeting invite. I do not have any type of access to these people's email, calendars etc.
Anyone else having this issue? Anyway to resolve it?
    Thanks!

We're seeing the same thing. Using iphone 3gs with exchange activesync 2003 and outlook 2003 client.
Although after a lot of testing we've narrowed it down a little. It seems to accept on behalf of the the person that appears first alphabetically in the list of recipients, and stops there.
For instance, my name starts with a 'J' (Jason). So if there are others that were invited whose name starts with a 'C' (Carol), and then a 'G' (Greg)....and I accept the meeting invitation, it will only "accept on behalf of" Carol but not Greg. So the meeting organizer will see a message that appears to be from Carol, but it actually states that Jason accepted on behalf of carol. The organizer will also receive the proper response that you (Jason in this case) accepted.
Other testing showed that if YOUR name was the lowest alphabetically in the recipients list (Jason, Sam, and Tom), then it will accept for you properly, but not accept those with names starting with a higher letter in the alphabet than your name.
So it appears to choose the first name in the recipients list in alphabetical order.
We also noticed that if the meeting organizer sends the request *from his/her iphone* (with the same recipients - Carol, Greg, and Jason), and Jason accepts it on his iphone....it will not accept on behalf of Carol.
So far we don't have a solution....but that's what we've figured out at this point.
    I hope it makes sense.

  • How to send meeting invites using Exchange Email Account

Does anybody know how to send meeting invitations using the 3.0 software update?
My corporate email is set up with an Exchange ActiveSync account, but I can't figure out how to send meeting invites?
Is it a function solely of the iPhone 3.0 OS, or is it dependent on the Exchange setup.
    Any insight would be appreciated.

That is what I was afraid of...the good thing is that is the only feature (besides battery life) that I miss from my Blackberry. Thanks.

  • Can we create a meeting invite to multiple people in one go.

    Hi,
Is there a way to invite multiple people to a meeting invitation in one step by giving the mail addresses directly like "a.b@c,e.f@c,g.h@c...." instead of searching and adding each person individually one be one.
This can be really useful if I have huge number of people to invite.
    Thanks,
    Bhasker

  • Missing Meeting Invite on Calendar, received on Exchange Email Acc

    Hello
I own a 3GS running IOS Ver: 5.1.1. I have my office exchange email account configured on my iphone.
When I get a meeting invite initiated by a colleague via our corporate Outlook 2010 mail system; the notification does get downloaded and it shows the meeting details and options to accept/decline the meeting.
When I accept the meeting on the iphone, the mail and the event completly disapper, off my phone off my exchange mail box and pritty much from this planet.
It is not in the iphone exchange sent mail box, nor does it show as a meeting on the iphone calendar.
Please help, I have a meeting tomorrow morning and I cannot find the details of the meeting anywhere. This has happened with my phone a few times in the past on other 5.x versions of the OS. But now, this meeting is a make or break and I have no details of this meeting.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi @alexklkam
I'm unable to reproduce this issue, all of my calendars match up after several tests.
If possible can you record the steps you are taking that cause to issue to occur so I can do some more testing?
Can you let me know what type of email\calendar service are you using, e.g. Outlook.com, Gmail as well?
When this issue occurs, does the entry ever appear?
For example, if you close and re-open Blend after noticing the entry isn't shown, does it appear again?

  • HT2513 How do you forward a meeting invite in ical?

In Outlook, you can forward a meeting invite,I can't seem to find the function in ical.  Can anyone help?

    Possibly,
Looking at iCal version 4, open iCal Help, and after being connected to the server, you will see 'Inviting Guests to an event'. Click on that for information, and also at the bottom of that window in Related topics, is the topic, 'Setting your email address so you can send or modify your event invitations'. That link may also be useful.

  • Receive and respond to meeting invitations only for Microsoft Exchange

    Hello,
On Apple support page it says to iPhone Software version 3.0:
"If you have a Microsoft Exchange account, you can receive and respond to meeting invitations."
That means with MobileMe it's still not possible.
What kind of service is that, if Apple supports Microsoft better than their own service?
    Regards,
    JO

    Hi All--
I have been looking for this feature with MobileMe. I was hoping that it would have come with 3.0 -- but no luck. It would be really nice for MobileMe users to send/receive/accept/decline event or meeting invites from their iPhone or iCal.
I heard something about event invites in Snow Leopard iCal... will have to wait and see.

  • TS3899 Sending a meeting invite from Exchange 2007 account located in Central Time from Outlook 2010 Email Client located in Eastern Time cause meeting to show up 1 hour early on iPhone

Sending a meeting invite from Exchange 2007 account located in Central Time from Outlook 2010 Email Client located in Eastern Time cause meeting to show up 1 hour early on iPhone.

The meeting invite is being sent from a Computer through the Outlook 2010 Email Client. Both Computer and Outlook 2010 are set to Eastern Time. The OWA (Outlook Web Access) for the 2007 account is set to Eastern Time. The Outlook 2010 Email Client is connected to an Exchange 2007 account and the Exchange server for the exchange 2007 account is located in Chicago (Central Time) and is set to Central Time. When the meeting invite is sent from the Outlook 2010 Client the recipient receives the invite on his/her iPhone(set and located in the Eastern Time Zone) and a mime-attachment.ics file is attached to the meeting invite email. There is no info displayed in the subject line or message body. If the iPhone user opens the attachment it displays the meeting date and time and any other info that was sent from Outlook. The Outlook 2010 user sets the meeting for 10:00am to 11:00am. when the meeting invite mime-attachment.ics file is opened on the iPhone the meeting is displayed as 9:00am to 10:00am. if the iPhone user adds the ics file to his/her calendar it adds a meeting event that is scheduled 1 hour earlier than it is supposed to be. I had the iPhone user to set Time Zone support on and off and there is no change.

  • Unable to delete the meeting invitation from Calendar stored in Public Folder - exchange 2010

I assume the specific entry (meeting invitation) is corrupted, due to which we are unable to delete the meeting either from outlook or OWA. Is there any possibility to delete that calender invitation from reoccuring?

    Hi,
For further troubleshooting, I would like to collect some information
Is there any error when trying to delete the meeting invitation from calendar?
If the calendar is not stored in the public folder, is it possible to delete the meeting in this calendar?
Does this issue occur on one user or multi-users?

  • Multiple duplicate meeting invitations being sent out

One of exec. admins is experiencing the issue where she sets up meeting invitations (as a delegate on behalf of one of the VPs she supports) and sends them out via Outlook 2003 from her desktop PC. She also has her exchange account on her Iphone which has verion 3 on it. Within a 24 period and usually much sooner, the same meeting invite keeps sending itself out over and over with no way to stop it. We have tried reinstalling MS Office 2003 and reimaging her PC but no resolution, even swapping Iphones. We do know that when her exchange account is completely removed from her Iphone, the entire issue goes away? Anyone else experiencing this issue and if so, any way to resolve it?

We have a similar issue happening in our organization. Our project management team all use iPhone 3G (9 of them.) We manage a team of professionals from many companies and in many timezones, and the members have been receiving way too many copies of meeting invitations from us and are getting angry. Some are forming negative opinions about our organization because of this and blaming our IT team; this needs to stop ASAP. Does the 3.1 verison repair this problem Apple?? It isnt helpful that Apple hasn't been responding to people in their forums with Exchange calendaring problems and this problem Trumps the others by far.
    Any assistance would be great!
