Exchange Macbook bought from a different country

My parents bought my macbook pro from UAE and send it to me here in the Philippines as a gift, but the Keyboard is in arabic. Can I exchange it in local apple shops here for a non-arabic one?

I think the only way you can possibly know the answer to this for sure is to go to those shops and ask.  Nobody here represents Apple or any store.

  • On receiving service from MacBook bought in a different country

I bought my MacBook in Korea, but I brought it to Switzerland to use it in my new school. Can I get customer service from the swiss? I still have my 1 year guarantee...

If you mean warranty service, yes, you can. The warranty on the MacBook is international.

  • How can I subscribe to a free podcast from a different country's i-store?

How can I subscribe to a free podcast from a different country's i-store? I tried, but it says I can use only store in the country of residence. I just bought imac to be able to watch podcasts from my home country which is not country of residence... It is completely unreasonable!

    You cannot.
As it has told you, you can use the itunes store of your country of residence and only while you are inside the borders of that country.
    Sorry.

  • Register card from a different country apple id

you can register a credit card from a different country to the apple id?
I have no card of the United States but of another country and always fails.
When trying to register with paypal also gives me errors.

    You cannot do this.
In order to use a countrys itunes store, you must be physically located inside the borders of that country have a credit card issued in that country billed to a valid address in that country

  • Purchase through Paypal that is set from a different country)

    Hello Apple Community!
I know AppStore accepts Paypal as one of the payment method, but
I have a verified Paypal account and I was wondering if there was a way
to purchase using Paypal, that is set from a different country, in the US appstore?

I had create a US iTunes Account with no registered address/card buy "buying" a "free" app, while not logged in.
Then I had someone buy me a US iTunes Gift Card. I was able to use that to buy the app, and sync it to my UK device.

  • HT204411 why cant i buy music from a different country( Canadian Store)

why cant i buy music from a different country( Canadian Store)

You can only buy content from your own country's store - if the music that you want isn't in your country's store then it's because the record company haven't granted Apple a license to sell it there. Is it available on other music purchase download sites that you have access to ?
You can try requesting that it be added to your country's store, but ultimately it's the record company's decision : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

  • IPhone bought from operator in country I'm not in now - can it be warranty-serviced here?

Hello, I have iPhone 5 model MD297DN/A bought from Austria T-mobile, Repairs and Service Coverage: Active. I'm in Czech Republic for some time now. It is SIM-locked to Austrian T-Mobile and I use roaming. I do not want to travel back and service it there (bad button). Do you think I can go to official APPLE service in Czech Rep. to have my iPhone serviced? That would help me. Thank for answers.

I believe that Austria is part of the EU so you can go to any Apple owned store in an EU country for warranty service.
BUT... If I understand your post correctly. Your phone is locked to T-Mobile in Austria. Only they can unlock it for use with other carriers. You will need to contact T-Mobile to find out if they have an unlocking policy and if you qualify.

  • How to retrieve old purchases with the same Apple ID but from a different country

I used to be on the US app store and purchased apps, music and books on it. Now I have changed it to a South African account but can't update apps or download my old apps onto new devices. Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello JasonHatts,
Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you dont see the other country purchases. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you isolate or resolve the issue.
Change the country of your iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account - Apple Support
After you change the country of your account, you won't see the items you purchased from the previous country’s store in the Purchased section.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    Have a nice day,
    Mario

  • How Can I Download an Application from a different country

I have a US based account and need to download an application that exists on Colombia Account ( a CITI Bank App ) is there a way that I can do it? CITI Bank App application is for use on my Colombia Checking Account with CITI.

You can't, you can only download from your own country's store - you need to be in a country with a billing address from that country on your account to be able to download from its store. You can try requesting that the app be added to the US store, but it's the app developer (e.g. the bank) that will have to grant Apple a license to have it in the US store : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

  • Is it possible to use Itunes from a different country?

I am currently using itunes music store in ireland but i want to use the itunes music store in the UK.Is it possible to do this and if so, how?

    A - no, except:
In order to buy from a certain country's iTMS, you do need
either: a CC with a billing address in that country
or: an address in that country plus a prepaid card/gift voucher issued by iTMS in that country.
If you don't meet one of this conditions, there is no solution for you.
-sorry but the copyright holders wanted it that way.

  • Will iCloud work with Pages bought from a different account

    Hey,
    Here is my question.
My mom bought iWork(Pages,Keynote, and Numbers) using her own accout and authorized her account to iMac that we share at home.
I'm wondering if I can get these apps to my iPhone and sync it with my iCloud account, which differs from the buyer- my mom-'s account.
if somebody tried this before, please let me konw ASAP.
    thank you!

The problem has been a long standing problem due to Comcast's use of POP for third-party mail applications. This means you can delete a Comcast message on your iPhone Mail app but it will still appear on your MacBook. Comcast will need to allow IMAP account management, and they have been reluctant to do this for years. IMAP alllows synchonizing of folders and trash among devices.
The problem is out of Apple's hands. It also affects Android phones. You can install the Xfinity Mobile app to manage messages on the iPhone, and use the web-based access to manage the messages on the MacBook. That is the only way to permanently delete or move messages.

  • I have a problem with a previous purchase and sign in is required. However, the card is no longer in use and so no money can be billed from it. I need to add a new card so that the money can be taken from that card instead. It's from a different country

I have an Australian card associated with itunes and the App Store. However, I am no longer in Australia and I wish to change my country of residence and card to the UK/English. When I try to change country, it says there's a problem with a previous purchase, meaning I have no money on the Australian card and therefore the previous purchase cannot be billed.
The only way I can pay for the previous purchase is by adding an English card but it won't let me do this.
Does this mean I have to somehow put money on the old Australian card to pay for the previous purchase? Or is there a way I can transfer the bill to an English new card?
    Cheers guys
    Arron

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..

  • How can I get purchased apps from a different country store

    Hi
When I created my Apple ID I was in italy and obviously I used an Italian store. After few years I moved to Australia and I changed the country store for the apps store. After I backup reset and restore my iphone I lost most of the application. Is not a problem because I know they are somewhere under my Apple ID but  I don't know how can I re-download them. For example "Pages" I downloaded when I use the Italian store, now I can't get it from the Australian store but even if I change store and swap to the Italian one is like it doesn't recognise I already purchased that app in past and asking me to buy it again. Please i need ur heeelp.
    Grazie :)

If the old account still exists, switch to the French store by: Settings > iTunes and App Stores > Apple ID > View Apple ID > enter password > Coutnry/Region.
If you have a different Apple ID in the French store, at the View Apple ID step you will have to sign out and then sign in with the French Apple ID, and then continue to change the country/region.

  • Don't Look Now Criterion Blu-Ray. Was sent a version from a different country???????

This is the email I sent customer service. They are refusing to replace it. They admitted the mistake, but it's still not fixed on the website. Can anyone help me get what I ordered?
This is what Bestbuy should have been shipped to me:
    {removed per forum guidelines}
This is what Bestbuy shipped me: It's REGION B, which I believe you're not allowed to sell in the USA?
    http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Dont-Look-Now-Blu-ray/93848/
Sent to customer service via email:
I finally got my order of "Don't Look Now Blu-Ray" in the mail. It's the wrong Blu-Ray. I was sent a version that's from Germany and doesn't play on US Blu-Ray Players.
    I thought I was purchasing the USA Criterion Edition. I went here;
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/dont-look-now-dvd-2-disc/26076224.p?id=21445&skuId=26076224
You will see it's the Criterion DVD. In this page there is a link to the Blu-Ray release. That is what I ordered.
When you go to that page; http://www.bestbuy.com/site/dont-look-now-blu-ray-disc/25579418.p?id=21445&skuId=25579418
I now see there is an additional link to a different Blu-Ray.
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/every-man-for-himself-criterion-collection-blu-ray/26093158.p?id=21445&s...
This page has the correct information for the Criterion Blu-Ray release of Don't Look Now, but it's listed under the movie "Every Man For Himself."
Obviously you guys have serveral things listed very long......
In summary I need to return the "GERMAN" Blu-Ray you sent me that will not play on "USA" Blu-Ray players and exchange it for the Criterion USA release that I thought I was ordered.
I hope we agree I shouldn't have to pay any additional fees or return shipping for this mishap.

    Hello pinballmaster,
It would certainly be frustrating to receive the incorrect version of a movie you ordered! Through my investigation, it doesn't appear that we even carry the German version of Don't Look Now, making the experience you describe very curious. I sincerely apologize for any hassle that this may have caused you. Furthermore, please know that I've brought the apparent listing error to the appropriate business team's attention for review.
I was sadly unable to locate an order matching the information you registered with the forum, so I am sending you a private message to gather further details surrounding this order. You may check your private messages once you've signed into the forum by clicking the envelope icon in the top right corner of the page.

  • Using power cables from a different country  = fried battery!

I have purchased a MacBookPro from the US and traveled to Melbourne. I had used my friend's power cables for the same MacBookPro that was bought in Singapore. The batterie was fried and had to be changed immediately. Why doesn't Apple warn us of sharing cables?  Now I have to pay $400 to change my battery!

Nonsense. The power adapter for all MacBook Pros are multi-voltage capable and will work with voltages from 110-240VAC and 50-60hZ.
