Exchange proxy error after exchange reboot from Outlook
I hope the title isn't too confusing. I have a situation where a client has about 40 computers. The machines are left on most of the time. Outlook is open most of the time. If the Exchange (2010) server is rebooted when a client
goes to look at e-mail they get a proxy error message and are asked to log in again. This did not happen in the past (perhaps 7 months ago) but does now. This is not a big problem but users are accustomed to things being easy.
Is this a security feature that worked its way in or is this a fixable problem?

Was the user using Outlook in Online Mode? If so, the user might get the notice that the connection to Exchange was lost. Switch to Cached Exchange Mode, this should enable the users to work "offline".
To switch to Cached Exchange mode: File -> Account Settings -> Account Settings -> Double click on the Exchange Account name -> Tick "Use Cached Exchange Mode" -> Next -> Finish. Then exit and restart Outlook to check the result.

I have a source organization: Windows 2003 domain + Exchange 2010 SP3 + smtp domain acme.com
Target organization: Winows 2012 R2 domain + Exchange 2013 CU3 + smtp domain acme.com
We are migrating to target organization.
I want to connect Outlook 2007/2010 to their target mailbox (Exchange 2013) from a machine which is joined to Source DOmain.
I couldn't use autodiscover, because as the machine is joined to source domain, autodiscover it's mapping to Exchange 2010.
It only works when I machine is joined to target domain.
Any idea how to connect manually to eXCHANGE 2013 mailbox from a machine which is joined to source domain?

Firstly, I’d like to explain, Autodiscover service can be used cross forest:
1. the two forests must be trusted.
2. configure a mail contact in the original forest.

We have reports that we have built that are causing a Proxy error, but really its a timeout error. I have installed a stand alone OC4J and it runs fine there, thus I know its not the OC4J causing the error. In the log files I find this:
- java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Socket read timed out
I have increased the Client Request Handling setting, but that does not help. Consistently any report taking longer than 5 minutes throws back the 502 Proxy Error.
This did not occur until after an upgrade from 9.0.4 to 10.1.2. Does anyone know of a setting that I'm overlooking that is causing this timeout.

Assuming you see the above error message in the alert log file, which was your original post, follow the below steps:
1 Get the 'ospid' value from the error
2. Issue the below command:
SQL> select request_id,ORACLE_PROCESS_ID
2 from fnd_concurrent_requests
3 where request_id = 15598;
3. After obtaining the request_id
4, Query it from the front-end using SYSADMIN responsibility
Hopefully this should get you the respective concurrent report/program.

Reg: Proxy error while fetching data from RFC's
Hi All,
I am fetching data from RFC's. When the data is in bulk I am getting an error like:
Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request POST /webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/pb/PageBuilder.
Reason: Error reading from remote server
When the data is samll only I am not getting any error and am able to fetch it easily. Please suggest me something in this regard.

Now I am able to fetch data from flat files from OWB Server as well as OWB Client.
One way I have achieved as suggested by you
1) Creating location on the OWB Client
2) Samples the files at client
3) Created & Configured external table
4) Copy all flat files on OWB Server
5) Updated the location which I created at the client.
Other way
1) Creating location on the OWB Client
2) Samples the files at client
3) Created & Configured external table
4) Copied flat files on the sever in same drive & directory . like if my all flat files are on C:\data at OWB Client then I copied flat file C:\data on the OWB Server. But this is feasible for Non-Windows.
Hence my problem solved.

I am getting the following error after I detach any aspx file from the master. On preview
"ContentPlaceHolder can only be used in .master files." (correlation Id search with logs does not shed much light)
This is happening with any simple page detachment using SPD. even on pages created with standard master pages.
Either the SPD functionality does not work or I am missing something basic. Help is appreciated

According to your description, I have done a test, and met the same issue with you.
Because ContentPlaceHolder defines a region in a Master Page and the Content control is used on the page to display text/markup in the place of the ContentPlaceHolder.

The "Detach master page" seems a bug, my suggestion is: you can create a blank ASPX page in SharePoint Designer, then start customizing on this new page.

Stuck at preloading screen after failed reboot from cd
I am stuck at the preloading screen after i got the "something was wrong during reboot from cd message", but now i can't seem to reboot from the cd by pressing "c" after startup, nor go into safemode by pressing "shift" or hardware by "d", i just go onto the preloading screen for 20+ mins and nothing happens...

Having trouble migrating from outlook 07 on a PC to outlook 11 on a Mac, the .pst file transfers but is not recognized (for lack of a better word) as an outlook back up on the Mac.

Cannot connect my exchange 2010 from outlook outside of my LAN
I have problem connecting to my exchange 2010 server from outside of my LAN.
I have configured Outlook Anywhere and its working.
After i enter all the details it is asking again for password and once i entered the password i receive the error "The action cannot be completed. The Connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable etc ... "

ABAP Consumer Proxy error after upgraded from 7.0 SP14 to 7.01 SP3
The ABAP consumer proxy was created in ECC6 with Netweaver 7.0 SP14. After the system was upgraded to Netweaver 7.01 SP3 the proxy call started to get error back.
The first error message from the service provider said "SoapException: Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction". This error was resolved by manually putting the correct action in the SOAManager configuration.
Ran the same test again and then the service provider complained about the To field in the SOAP Header. The error message said "SoapHeaderException: SOAP header To was not understood".
Below is the To field in the Requesting XML message from the 7.0 SP14 system that worked fine:

JiannanGot solution from SAP through an OSS message. Below is SAP's solution:
Either the Message ID protocol should be switched off on the SAP
consumer side or turn on this protocol support on the .NET provider.
To switch off the Message ID protocol:
1. start the soa manager
2. find the consumer proxy
3. find the corresponding logical port
4. jump to the 'Messaging' tab
5. choose the 'Suppress ID Transfer' from the dropdown list of the Message ID Protocol field
Besides this setting I also have to specify the operation in the Operation specific tab of the logical port configuration. -

Just applied NW65 sp2 server patch and the Border Manager 3.8 field patch
3c and now the server constantly beeps with the error message:
NMAS LAUNCH FAILED - PROXY AUTHENTICATION SERVICES DOWN
I have seen this on other servers recently patched but it generally goes
away after a couple of minutes. In this particular case, doesn't matter
what we do - reboot server, unload and reload proxy we still get this error
message every 20 seconds or so. Very annoying. If we unload proxy, the
error goes away but then of course we don't have a proxy server. Surely
there must be some simple solution for this? Thank you.

Outlook 2013 Signatures not showing up at all after transferring signatures from Outlook 2010

first time on here asking a question needing help. I recently bought a new machine, windows 7 Pro and Outlook 2013. I successfully brought over my .pst files from my old machine running Outlook 2010, Windows 7. This was great and easy, got to keep
all my settings, rules, and private folders for Outlook 2010 right into Outlook 2013. Then it was time to move my signatures over, I did so with ease however when I went to my signatures in 2013, NOTHING was present, not 1 out of 30 signatures I have.
I sure dont want to rewrite each one over again. I restarted, made sure the signatures were in the right spot in Outlook 2013. I also tried putting the signatures in another folder and importing them in, nothing. What is the deal? Can someone please
tell me what I'm doing wrong or has anyone had this issue? Please help. and thanks.Just to check, so you went into C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures on your old machine and copied ALL of the files & folders you found there, and moved them over to the same folder location on your new machine.

FRM-40735: PRE-FORM trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-04062.
Lots of Receivable forms have the same issue, I have upgrading the ebs from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 with 2 times, but every time, I have encountered the same issue.
