Exchange rate window pumps up when trying to generating customer receivables aging
Hey guys, thanks for your help for last two issues. I learned a lot.
I just got another wired issue. This time when I tried to run customer receivables aging, the exchange rates and indexes window keeps pumping up(as shown in attachment). Has anyone of you encountered this before? How can I fixed this?
So far this only happens when I tried to access customer receivables aging. I didn't have any problem to access other features and invoices.
Thank you so much Jun. Actually I found the communication string you sent me last week.
Problem solved! Thanks for your help

Try HT203242: iTunes for Windows: Optical drive is no longer recognized, or "Disc burner or software not found" alert after install.

Thanks,
BharathThis is not really the correct forum to be posting Reports issues. However, if I were to guess, your issue is likely related to the known issues related to installing FMw11R1 on machines which had IPv6 enabled. In most cases, disabling IPv6 would correct the problem, however some issues were not resolved even after disabling IPv6 post-install. I would recommend patching to WLS 10.3.6 and FMw 11.1.1.6 as these versions include fixes for all of those issues as far as I recall.

[ModifyPNRWSContract.wsdl]Hi Naichen,
I was able to successfully run both the autotype and clientgen Ant task, on the
WSDL you provided. The code behind those Ant tasks are pretty much what the WebLogic
Web Services test page run. Are you using WLS 8.1 SP2? If not, you might want
to try with that version.

Sharepoint 2013 webDAV PROPPATCH fails with status code 409 error every time, when trying to set custom property.
anyone have any ideaHi
Stumbled upon the resolution myself. The Bean Area item needs to be set to Visible=Yes in the property palette for the bean within Forms Builder, and also the implementation class also in the bean's properties must match exactly the package & class name specified in the PJC (my full implementation class string had to be set to oracle.forms.demos.runApplication).
As this bean has no user interface component, and since the Visible property has to be set to Yes, to avoid having a random square shape for the bean sitting on the form's canvas, I also set the Width and Height properties for the bean to 0.001. This does show a very small dot on the form, but that will be acceptable.
So in summary there has been a change for PJC / Bean Areas between 6i and 10g Forms, in 6i you could have the Bean Item to be set Visible=No, and the SET_CUSTOM_ PROPERTY built-in would work, however in 10g Forms the Bean Item must be set to Visible=Yes for the SET_CUSTOM_PROPERTY built-in to work.

Exchange rate fields get failed when uploading data
Hi,
I have a problem when uploading purchasing data (2LIS_02_SCL) from R/3 to BW. Basically the exchange rate value is right in the PSA but NOT in the cube.
I just wondering what did they do when transfering the exchange rate data from PSA to cube. I have already checked the transfer rules and update rules, but no logic in there. So the logic should be ONLY pass the value, but somehow different value coming up.
Maybe you can have different think about this ?
FYI, I have already transfered global settings and exchange rates from R/3 to the BW. Is there any settings that I missed ?
Very appreciate of your help.
Thanks a lot
Martin DarmawiHi Roberto,
Thanks for your answer.
I think it has aggregation behaviour.
Do you know how I can avoid aggregation behaviour for a keyfigure ? Because I can't edit aggregation field and I tried to change the exception aggregation field with First Value, No Aggregation and Avarage value but it does not work.
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks and Appreciate for your help,

Windows 8 crashes when trying to connect to a Remote Desktop or a VPN
Hello,
When trying to perform a connection to a remote desktop or a VPN the application crashes (either MSTSC.exe or Explorer.exe). I've noticed this happens when credentials are about to be asked (same happens when trying to access a restricted folder on a network
machine).

Any ideas what could be the problem and how to resolve this?Further proof it's something with credentials/authentication. I found a valid workaround, but I think this one's on Microsoft to actually fix.
I opened up Remote Desktop Connection, put in my username and clicked the Save Credentials box. Then I edited all the other settings. Saved the RDP connection to my desktop. Then I edited it with notepad, and added the password value. I found a blog that
provides a program that'll hash the password for you. I used it so I can say its safe:
http://www.remkoweijnen.nl/blog/2007/10/18/how-rdp-passwords-are-encrypted/
I put the hashed password in, saved the file. Then used it to connect and it worked. So by bypassing RDP having to ask for credentials, it didn't crash since it doesn't ask. Kind of inconvenient if you have many computers you have to connect in to. But for
those in a bind this will work for you.
This one worked for me, no update or installation of software before it broke, but had a "wife-poweroutage" (cable taken out) I'm just not in the mood to reinstall for this. But the above fixed it for me. Thank you! -
Exchange rate field greyed out when i use custom PO order type
Hi!
Upon creation of PO using SAP standard order type NB, the field exhange rate is editable. While when i used csutom PO order type, it is greyed out. How can we edit this? Where is the configuration of the exchange rate per order type?
If this is configured in IMG please include path, on how exchange rate is configured.
Thanks a lot.Hi,
Spro>Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Order>Define Document Types
Here check the "Field Selection Key" against the PO doc type
(ex: Standard NB doc type the "Field Selection Key" would be "NBF")
Then go to
Spro>Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Order>Define Screen Layout at Document Level
Select the " Field Selection Key" of ur doc type..Just Double click on that
then check for field " Exchange rate "
against that field you can see three options, Reqd.entry Opt. entry Display...
Here tick the field "Opt. entry", So that You can get this field in Change mode in ME21N trx...
Thx

Exchange Rate Differences function and when to use
The company I am asking about is based in the US, but also has offices and transactions in Canada. Does the Exchange Rate Differences function need to be run at month-end before finalizing the financials, in order to "re-value" the Canadian accounts, such as Accts Receivable, Accts Payable, Fixed Assets, etc. that may not have changed during the last month (no activity during the "current" month)? The financials are expressed in US Currency. Transactions during the month to the various Canadian accounts are "re-valued" at the time of the transaction entry, since the exchange rates are updated every day in the system. We need a clear-cut idea of when the Exchange Rate Differences function should be run.
I would say that you do need to do it. This is very important to ensure your account receivable control account (or payable) is revalued at the end of the month based on the new exchange rate.
I know some companies do not revalue the balances as it is not required. I think, revaluating the balance makes sense as it will give you a true picture of your payable or receivable at the end of the month. This is also a good way of accruing your exchange rate loss/gain.

Windows Error 2 when trying to download iTunes 9 - HELP!
Hi,
Not sure of this is a Microsoft error or an Apple but I am trying to download the new iTunes on my Windows Vista computer and I'm getting the following error:
'Apple Application Support was not found
Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes and then reinstall again
Error 2 (Windows Error 2)'
When I go into my Programmes, I can see that Apple Application Support is in there? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and am still getting the same error.
Has anybody else encountered this and know how to fix?
Thanks!!HRESULT: 0x8007054f.
... that seems to have been the most popular alphanumeric code in recent days. (Just like katherine's one.)
In general, these ones tend to be caused by underlying problems on the PC that can prevent Windows Updates from installing. So my main strategy with them is to try to fix the Windows Update issues. If we can get Windows Updates flowing again, that generally clears up the iTunes install errors +en passant.+
Head into your Windows Update, and check for any new updates. Do any fail? If so, open your Update History and doubleclick on the failure entries to bring up a small box with alphanumeric error message codes. Are you getting 8000FFFFs? (They often seem to be associated with an iTunes-install 0x8007054f.)
If you're getting 8000FFFFs, try the following Microsoft document:
[Windows Update Error 8000FFFF|http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Windows-Update-Error- 8000FFFF]
Head back to Windows Update, and see if you can get Updates to install successfully this time. If you can get updates now, stock up on any updates you're behind on. Once you're completely up to date in that regard, try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
Recently purchased a new desktop with windows 8 OS. Had no trouble downloading itunes intially and importing library from external hard drive. Old computer tha the external hard drive backed up was windows XP operating system. Then itunes was not working correctly and within a couple uses it would no longer open. Tried reinstalling/repairing and received this message when trying to re-open the program:
Error7 (Windows Error 32)
Very frustrating!! I am really not liking the windows 8 OS. Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about computers and just want to be able to access my music.
Thanks in advance! The 7 can indicate trouble with one of the other related software components needed by iTunes (like Apple Application Support). So it might be worth trying a complete uninstall/reinstall of iTunes and related componentry, as per the following troubleshooting document:

Can I assign the exchange rate data to consignment when I use MRKO
We with the selling on consignment supplier are the foreign currency transactions
The exchange rate was changed between the consignment withdrawal in inventory management and the posting of the consignment invoice.
Then the transfer posting occur between consignment liabilities account and an exchange rate difference account .
The consignment liabilities account is not cleared afterwards.
I want to know how can I configure for the consignment liabilities account is cleared. The functionality with the clearing of the consingment account
after you posting the invoice isn't available here.
It means if there different exchange rates were used
in the inventory management
and in in the transaction MRKO, the consingment account won't be
cleared in the local currency. You have to do it unfortunately
manually in FI.
The transaction MRKO just posts the invoices with the posting date of
the documents. You have to post manually from the consignment account
to the exchange rate gain/loss account. Sorry about it but this the only
way to do it. Otherwise, the exchange rate will be taken from table RKWA
