I am new to exchange server. Actually i have configured the Exchange Server and when i tried to sent email to internal or external its stuck in Draft Box and Scheduled Automatically for the Next Day..
How how can remove the Rule or Whats the Solution.

Please check whether you can send email via Outlook
or not.
Also, you need to check
whether all services that Exchange needs on a server have started. For that, you can
use the Test-ServiceHealth cmdlet for the same.

Delay downloading Exchange server email

I use an iMac with an ethernet link to cable internet service. Using Mail, I have a strange delay of 1-2 minutes before email downloads from an Exchange server. Interestingly, my MacBook, also using Mail, downloads the same Exchange server email almost instantly using an Airport Extreme with the same cable modem providing the cable signal.
In fact, I just switched from a 2007 iMac to a 2010 iMac, used Migration Assistant to transfer everything from the 2007 to the 2010 iMac, and I have the same delay of about 1-2 minutes before email downloads from the Exchange server.
The email always downloads--it's the delay on the iMac that's puzzling.

It's hard to say based on what you posted. I would guess that the VPN connection doesn't provide the complete name resolution you get when connected to the network internally.

Can't eprint from exchange server email address

I am unable to eprint from my exchange server email address and I can print from other accounts such as @att.net aacounts. This problem has started in the last week. I have reinstalled the printer and varified the allowed address.
Any ideas?

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I gather that in the last week or so you have been unable to print emails from your exchanger server email address.

How do you read MS Exchange Server email

I am trying to develop a server side LabVIEW email action application that will use subject line of generated client emails, sent to a specific account, too perform an 'action' based on the structured commands of the email subject line.
As this application is residing and running on a server I wish to advioid the use of connectivity through another application (like outlook).
The wish is to directly read and manipulate emails from, to and on the MS exchange server.
I'm Seeking advice on the best and most robust method in programming a LabVIEW access routine for MS exchange email service ?
I have already experimented with Pop3 using the TCP/IP and webdav but have experienced limitations in my pursuit of using these connectivity methods.

whilst i have been looking at the MSDN web site and others, i was interested in the experiences of others to direct me in how to tackle this problem to create a reliable and robut product with the manipulation capabilities of emails neccessary to my project.
ie read and process an email
- read email (sender, subject and body)
-get a count of new recieved emails
- after processing either mark as read or shift to a processed folder in web exchange
- if action email fails to process shif to error folder on the exchange
- if unrecognised format or sender shift to junk folder
- send acknowledgement email on successful processing

Safari disappears from iPad with addition of Exchange Server email setup

After updating the iPad with the new operating system, I noticed Safari disappeared and found no solution. Apple personnel had me restore the iPad system (which wiped out all the settings and caused me to lose numerous documents). But after the restore, I had Safari...until I again set up my email through Exchange Server. I can set up Gmail and my email through MobileMe and there is no problem. But setting up my email from Exchange Server causes Safari to disappear every time. Likewise, if I delete the email from Exchange Server, Safari is suddenly available and working well.
Any solutions.

I'm having the same problem. Updated to 4.2 everything is great except Safari is gone.
When I go into the General Settings, restrictions are disabled but Safari (and only safari) is turned to off.
So I added a passcode and enable restrictions, but I can't turn on safari.
If I delete the exchange account. Safari comes back. If I add it again it disappears.
I can't seem to find anything that can be tweaked on the server side of exchange or the client side of the ipad, Anyone have any ideas?
Mick you wouldn't know what the exchange setting was that needed to be changed?

The Exchange Administrator for your account must enable the Exchange Server for IMAP account access. Do you know if the admin has done so?
I would also search Mail Help with the word - exchange.

IPhone 3gs won't sync my exchange server email

I just got the 16gb 3gs. I synced it with my outlook contacts and calendar, which went flawlessly. My email, on the other hand, didn't sync. My exchange email account doesn't even show up as an option to sync. Obviously the phone is talking to the server, because it got my contacts and calendars.
Is there a setting on Outlook to allow my account to show up in iTunes?

IPad 3 will not sync "no limit" email option on exchange server email.

I just purchased an iPad 3 updated to 5.1.1 software. My personal exchange email from my ISP will not download the "no limit" option. However I still have this email setup on my iPad 2 and i have removed/readded and it works no problem.
I have removed and reset up the email on the iPad 3 and still not working. Also I notice that if I choose 3 days it will sync, then choose "no limit" it will just stay at the 3 days, this is the same for all other options too.
Any ideas?

3. Try another cable (make sure it's an original Apple cable)
4. Try another charger (make sure it's an original Apple charger)

It is called from a Mail rule. Here is the rule:
It works for every incoming message except for those that originate from an Exchange account.
Here is the interesting part: If I manually "apply rules" by selecting the message and using Option ⌘ L then it speaks the name perfectly. It is only when the mail arrives (by checking for new mail, for instance) that the script does not appear to do anything.
More interesting: The email does get its background color set to Blue. So as far as I can tell, the Rule is being executed, but the script isn't.
Here is the Rule for everything else:

Why does it only work when manually "applying Rules"?

The result of all this is the same... a tortured way to extract the sender's name, which works but the results are exactly the same as the other one.
When an Exchange email arrives, the above script speaks "script entry" and that is the last I hear from it. All other emails speak the sender's name just fine. As before, manually "applying rules" after the email is received speaks the sender's name as I would expect.
So it is getting lost prior to "end break position test" but I have no idea why.

I recently tried to change a sved password for my Exchange Server email account, by deleting the site from my "Saved Passwords" tab in the Tools-Options-Security page. Now this web page won't save any entered data.

I wanted to change my password for logging in to my work email address. The site was not prompting me to change it automatically, so I manually removed it from the list in the TOOLS-SECURITY-OPTIONS page. Now this site won't retain any kind of entered data, such as addresses that I compose emails to very regularly.
How can I get this site back on the list that will save passwords? I've tried re-starts, log-out and back in, etc, and it won't prompt me to save a password.

Emails for Current Day are not sync with Microsoft Exchange server

I have bought a Z1 and configured my microsoft exchange server email on it. All is working well. However it is only showing emails till yesterday. I have tried all sync settings including automatic, all, one day and all others but still it is not showing emails for current day. I have also tried all sort options but still no improvement.
The same setting are working perfectly fine on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. What is the issue and how to fix it? Please make sure i have purchased a new phone and would use the stock email app and no third party email app.
Already there is a downgrade in Z1 stock email app. It is not supporting formatted signatures and formatted outgoing emails. Which is now very common on all phones of its price and class.
What is Sony doing on its phones? i do not understand.
Please let me know how to fix my issue of most recent emails sync.

Emailing photo using MS Exchange Server sends multiple copies of the same email

Emailing 1 photo using Microsoft Outlook Exchange server sends multiple copies of the same email and photo. 50+ at last count. Also, since I emailed the photo to myself, then deleted these multiple copies from my inbox and sent items, my work Outlook exchange server will no longer sync. Is there a solution for this?

I have restarted multiple times. I have also removed and re-added outlook exchange email 3 times. This only affects exchange server email. I can send the photo from my gmail and it only receives 1 copy. I was wondering if this was a known issue and if someone had a fix for it. Otherwise would have to wait for the next WebOS update.

Journaling - Exchange Server 2007 Outlook POP Email Account

My current setup:
In Outlook
Account 1: Exchange Server Email Account
Account 2: Other Email accounts using POP setting (Only when outlook is open send/receive emails and used only via outlook)
Email Store -Incoming
Account 1: OST Cache -Inbox Folder
Account 2 :Same as account 1 (Emails are replicated on Exchange Server) so they are available through OWA.
Email Store - Outgoing
Account 1: OST Cache –Sent Folder
Account 2 :Same as account 1 (Emails are replicated on Exchange Server) so they are available through OWA
All emails are stored on Exchange Mailbox.
Now I will need to activate Journaling on Exchange Server 2007.
Will all email be collected in journal (Exchange+POP)?
If not how can this be done?
I will need an automatic way of doing it (maybe using Outlook rules - received/send via a specific account).
This is required as I am planning to implement
GFI Mail Archiver.

Exchange journaling only journals Exchange messages - it is not an Outlook-dependent system, nor does it journal everything that Outlook can access. It is server-side only - messages sent through the Exchange system will be journaled because they hit
the Exchange server; messages sent through POP accounts will not, since they never see the Exchange server.
So, messages you receive in the POP mailbox will not be journaled, but since all messages you send go out through Exchange, they will all be journaled.
Oh, and one more thing you need to know: all messages that are already in your mailbox will not be journaled - Exchange journals what is delivered through the transport system, not what is in the mailboxes already.

Exchange Server 2003 Email setup on IPHONE and IPOD Touch

Hi we have Exchange Server 2003 (SP2) on Windows Standard Server 2003 and we can access OWA from any browser and also am able to setup Exchange server Emails on Blackberry device without any problem but when I try to setup on IPHONE or IPOD touch I get error message saying Can not connet to server. I tried to get the answer on google and seems like it should work but seems like I need to some other settings on exchange server to setup exchange server email on Iphone or Ipod. Any idea what could be the issue.

Sorry I forgot to tell you that I tried without Exchange also.
I tested my activsync Connectivity test from https://testexchangeconnectivity.com/ and it fails at SSL. (Port 80 and 443 shows open and passed) In our server we bought SSL scertificate last year from godaddy and installed as I thought it requires but later on I removed as I was not able to setup iphone. So I don't know what could be the exact problem.
