Exchange servers not reflecting in Server State tab in monitoring in SCOM 2007 R2

Hi,
We have added few exchange servers in SCOM 2007 r2 for monitoring, but few of them are not reflecting in the Monitoring> Exchange 2010> Server State tab, whereas they are healthy in admin tab.
Can anyone help on this?

open firewall.
Enable Exchange Rule for monitoring
Enable proxy Agents
Check Configure monitoring Exchange 2010 as exist below link

Checkbox selected not reflected at server side

i have one entity called Doc in DB.
i have to print all records in h:dataTable with Checkbox.
im getting Doc as implemeted i can't change it.
to associate checkbox with each record i added another class UIDoc with private boolean selected property and UIDoc extends Doc. and now im working with UIDoc.
but when clicking on selected checkbox it is not reflected at server side

Uhm. Did you get that "solution" from roseindia.net or so? I saw it being mentioned over there several times. That site is cluttered of bad examples and bad practices.
Well, I wish you good luck when you're about to bring this app in production, where the server usually runs at a different machine than the client.

Archiving mail on mobile does not reflect the archived state on Mail.app - it stays in "Inbox"

I am using the latest MacBook Pro on the latest Mavericks. The rest of Mail.app seems to work fine, but I have this very annoying problem.
I use multiple devices for email - my iPad, my Android phone, etc. The whole point of IMAP is that you can do this, without issues.
When I archive a message on mobile, it does not reflect as archived on Mail.app, no matter how many times I restart Mail.app. I even took it offline, then back online a few times.
This is specifically for gmail and Google Apps email accounts. Any ideas?

Same problem here.
I have several imap email accounts. They are different. Some are Gmail, some iCloud, some custom, etc...
When I archive, reply, delete, etc... emails on my Mac using Mail.app, they reflect on the iPhone. But when I do the same on the iPhone and get back to the computer, they don't reflect that way on Mail.app
I miss Mail.app that was in Mountain Lion. I didn't have this problem before.

2 Exchange servers not Syncing the GAL

I have 2 exchange 2010 servers on one domain but on different sites, lets call them Site A and Site B, The 2 servers are not syncing GAL's, and if someone from site A visits site B then the have to manually authenticate. Any users created on site A
do not show up in site B's GAL and vice versa , IN AD there are 2 OU's for site A and B.
Everyone authenticated on the same Domain controller.
How can I get the GAL's to sync ?

Go to EMS -> type: Update-OfflineAddressBook "SiteAddressBookname"
type: Update-OfflineAddressBook "SiteBddressBookname" (if you have second one)
Restart System Attendant Service on the OAB Generation Server (Mailbox Server). This service is responsible for generating the OAB by communicating with Active Directory infrastructure.
Either run following command in EMS
Update-FileDistributionService “CASServerName” or just restart File Distribution Service on CAS Server. File distribution service copies the OAB from the Mailbox Server, where System Attendant Service puts OAB in a shared folder “C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange
Server\ExchangeOAB”. Outlook clients then download the OAB from CAS published OAB Virtual Directory.
And then check OAB download in outlook again.
Go TO Exchaneg Management Console and check that your oab has the following settings just to double check:
Properties of OAB
- General = Update schedule is set to run daily at 5:00 A.M
-Address Lists = Include the default Global Address List, Include the following address lists:
All Contacts
All Groups
All Rooms
All Users
Public Folders
-Distribution = Distribution Points: Enable web-based distribution (marked)
OAB (Default Web Site) needs to be added and Enable public folder distribution should be marked

Agent Server not reflecting under "Add Group" or " Add Object in SCOM 2012

Hi,
Here the Windows Agent server are showing healthy under 'Windows Computer' in Monitoring tab. Also I can view the various objects like Memory, Logical Disks, System etc under Performance View. Once I moved to Reporing tab, I cannot find
this agent server under Add Group or Add Object.
I tried reconfigure the SCOM agent on this server and still no luck.
Could some one pls assist me to resolve this issue.
Here the Management server is SCOM 2012.

But at the same time I can see the different counter & its output details under "performance view".

Am able to pull the reports for other set of servers. My confusion here is why this particular server details are not showing under Reporting module. How can I isolatae this issue. Pls advise. Thanks

Exchange rate not reflecting in PO created thru bapi for foreign currency!

am creating PO thru BAPI_PO_CREATE1...in the input file, i have given currency as USD and Exchange rate as 0.5, but in the created PO, i am able to see only 1 as the exchange rate...i even tried changing it using BAPI_PO_CHANGE, but no luck..but in case of local currency, which is EUR, am able to translate from the file whatever the value as exchange rate of the PO...this problem only comes if it's a foreign currency..am i missing something? pl advice

Try like this:
If you are populating Header conditions you must divide it by 10 as following:
wa_hdrcond-cond_value = wa_hdrcond-cond_value / 10.
If you are populating Item level conditions you must follow as:
IF wa_itmcond-currency IS INITIAL OR
wa_itmcond-currency EQ '%'.
wa_itmcond-cond_value = wa_itmcond-cond_value / 10.
ENDIF.
This will solve your problem. In the BAPI, it multiplies exchange rate by 10 for the header conditions.
Where as Item condition value(exchange rate) is multiplied by 10 when it satifies the above conditions.
So we must follow the same criteria as we did above.

Softphone or Physical Phone screen does not reflect the agent state

I have a problem with login with finesse API.
When I login on UCCX by the physical phone or softphone keyboard, the screen on the device changes, and show me options for exampe to change state, but when I loggin with finesse the device screen dont changes.
However when I loggin with EMAPI the device shows ok the screen information.
Any Ideas?

Cluster state VS server state: different server status?

hello people! 
i have a little trouble and i hope that you can helpme to solve. 
i am working in a topology like this

luckyly the problem was fixed, apparently was some certificate issue whitin the managed servers and the admin server. 
 
The servers with wrong status do not have ssl port avaiable 
once solved the certificate issue this began to work fine.

Changes in Logonlables.properties are not reflecting in Logon screen in EP

Hi frndz..
Am chnaging the logon screen branding image and text and also the WELCOME text n the copy rights text also.
For this am following a like in that itz saying to take the PAR file "com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.apr"
from the following localtion.
<J2EE_Engine_Instance>\j2ee\cluster\server<X>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd.
but i didn't find any par like above the above specified location, but i found tha same par in the path of
<J2EE_Engine_Instance>\j2ee\cluster\server<X>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\temp.
so i taken tha PAR from ther n made the chnages in same PAR only i did't renamed PAR in same par only i made the chnages but itz not reflecting after server restart also

Why don't you try from portal end? downloading and uploading the par file from portal.

Internal and External Mail Exchange servers server not communicating with IronPort

Hello Support Community,
I have setup external mail exchange server and an internal mail exchange server to test out ironport, those two are not communicating via IronPort neither are they both recieving eachothers sent messages in their inbox, i have setup a smart host in both of those servers to point to ironport but thats still of no help. I have two smtp routes setup as well one's recieving domain: dummy.local which is external and its destination host: softheon.local which is internal which means its smart host is pointing to ironport's data 1. Is there something that im missing which is not letting these two mail exchange servers connect to each other as well as connect with the ironport to catch the msgs being sent

Are you trying to relay through the appliance, or just email the appliance?
If trying to relay through the appliance, make sure the IP address of your exchange server is added to the RELAYLIST under the HAT (host access table) located under Mail Policies Tab - Host Access Table. Click on the RELAYLIST and add the IP - submit and commit changes.
If you are just trying to email the appliance, you may be getting dropped at the handshake level based on reputation (or lack thereoff).
From your exchange boxes, open up a command prompt and telnet to the ironport on port 25 and initiate a command line email.
So:
telnet IP-OF-IRONPORT 25 (hit enter, you should connect up and see the IronPort banner)
helo (type helo - from here you'll probably get dropped by the IronPort)
mail from: [email protected] (if you dont get dropped put in your email address)
rcpt to: [email protected] (put in the other email address)
data (type data and hit enter)
This is a test. (type anything, this is the message body)
. (when done typing, type a single . (period) and hit enter. The email should send if you got that far.
You most likely need to add the IP addresses of your exchagne boxes to the WHITELIST under the HAT to resolve any reputation issues from your test exchange boxes.

Change in Quota at Exchange Server does not reflect in Outlook

I have changed the quota for a database on the exchange server from the default 2 GB to Unlimited and even restarted the information store service. The user is able to receive emails and send them as well. However in Outlook the message still persists that
users quota is 2 GB. Have restarted Outlook several times. Can anyone shed some light why this may be happenning. Also what is the default interval in which the information displayed by Outlok changes after a change at the exchange server?

Hi RonMen,
The change of mailbox quota will not reflect in outlook immediately, the update occur every 30 minutes by default.
Updates can be triggered either manually by the user or automatically.
The following user actions will request the server to update the properties :
1. Emptying Deleted Items
2. Emptying a Folder (via the button in the ribbon’s folder tab or right-click on folder)
3. Permanently deleting (shift-delete) an item
4. Closing the Archive / AutoArchive dialogs

Changes are not reflecting in Quality server

Dear All,
We have recently installed the Portal 7.4 servers.
Currently we are having two servers Development and Quality.We have Configured NWDI using CMS and created tracks(Defined run-time systems as Development and Consolidation) we are able to checkin the activities at NWDS , when we are selecting the component in the consolidation and on click of import we are getting the message as import finished, but the changes are not reflecting at the Quality server. i.e in earlier 7.01 version when we imported , the ear was deployed automatically in quality but it is not getting deployed in the new version 7.4

As per the given link the track is configured with out any issues (When we are clicking on Deployment in the Transport studio it is opening new tab like below and we are not having any errors when we click on Start deployment nothing is happening)

QM03-Custom tab-Change to text field not reflecting-FG - XQQM-screen-0106

Hi,
I have a requirement to change the text field on a custom tab of QM03 transaction. Quality notification type is Z1 and the tab is "Checklist". Both are custom defined.
The existing text field is of 3 lines. The new text message is of 8 lines. When I did the changes on the custom screen 0106 in the function group XQQM, the changes are not reflected on the QM03 transaction's custom tab. Only first 3 lines were reflecting the change and rest of the 5 lines are not appearing on the screen.
Pointers on this will be definitely helpful.

I had a similar problem, but it was with the message line. I found that with Web Forms, I had to issue the Synchronize; a second time, but in Client/Server Forms 6i, the first synchronize worked. Here is the code I used:

SAP Portal changes not reflect in all the servers without reboot?

Dear SDN Members
We have one sap ep 7.0 eh1 main instance and 4 other portal instances.every time we tranport any portal develpment work such as epa packages, we need to restart all the instances to reflect the new changes.can you please suggest me
a solution if exists to avoid bouncing of all instances when a portal development work is transported.
Why does the changes not reflect in all the servers without the reboot??

to avoid bouncing of all the instances. please let me know if you have any other suggestions.
actually we have a central portal instance and 4 other portal servers connected through a
load balancer.Any tranport we move to central instance should refelect the changes in all
other portal instances.But we need to restart all the instances to see the new changes.
We are trying to find a solution if availbel which prevents server-restarts after each transport.

Exchange Recon with multiple Servers & Message Stores per Server

I am trying to think through the best way to write a single reconciliation task for an environment that has 3 Exchange Servers with 3 storage groups per server and 3 mailbox stores per storage group. That's 27 mailbox stores and I don't want to have 27 schedules tasks for reconciliation.
Any thoughts?

All the servers are in a single domain.
The issues is the default scheduled task requires an exchange server and ad server parameter. The mailboxes not on the server specified show as "Users Matched" instead of "Event Linked" the reconciliation process.
Our Reconciliation Rule is "User Login equals sAMAcountName", but the mailboxes still don't match correctly. I originally thought this rule would work regardless of the exchange server(s) involved, but it does not seem to be the case.
