*Excisable material Purchased from Importer

Dear SAP Gurus,
Material purcahsed from Importer excisable material, The excise duties will passed. Like ED 16%, ECS 2%, SHECess 1%, and 4% Special Addtional Duty(SAD), + VAT 4%.
As pe rstandard sap ED, ECS, SHECESS are comming, but 4% SAD(Creditable) i have tried at the time of MIGO, But the VAT is not caculating on all the duties. Please suggest me any standard process for the same

This is the actual caculation i have to do it on SAP, i have taken VAT Also it is not calcualting on all duties, including SAD, With SAD it should calculate.

Dear SAP Experts,
I have a scenario, where the Imported material is purchased from a local vendor.
The local vendor passes on all the customs duty, CVD and all the related duties to the customer (us).
All the duties including CVD in the form of Excise duty etc. have to be inventorized.
How to map this in SAP?

U have to setup ur taxprocedure like this.In this the acct key is the main.IN OBCN ucreate the acct key & give them as non cenvatable.Then assign this acct key against the condition type in the TAXIIN.
Then in FV11 create the condition records for the cond type.For the cond type the access sequence should be JTAX

SAP Report for Material purchased from Vendors

Can anyone tell me if there is a report in SAP that we can use to list all suppliers for a given material? We are operating in SAP ECC6.0 and need a report that will list all vendors that the company has used for a given part. Is there a standard report in SAP that pulls information from purchasing info records?
Also does anybody know of any SAP consultants that can help us create custom reports?

There is not standard report for ageing... You have to develop a custom one if you are talking in terms of GR/IR...

Excisable material return from subcontrator as it is

Hi SAP Expert,
I have a question which need to be addressed?
I have sent a material ( recursive or BOM component) to subcotracter with 57F4 challan of qty 1000.
Due to some reason qty 200 to be withdraw using 542 movt .type.
I want the transaction flow wrt Excise treatment for 542 movt type also for the qty of 200.
Please help me to resolve the issue.

You need to recieve material using 542 mvmt with reference to p.o,reconcile matl doc. using J1IFQ.
If all quantities were recieved from subcontractor,then you can complete challan using J1IF13

Material purchased from third party

I have to purchase mat M1 from vendor V1 to whom I have given mat M2 which is assembled with M1. I supplied M2 to V1 directly after purchasing M2 from V2.
Shall I use subcontracting scenario or something else.

Hi Suz,
You can use Subcontracting scenario for this.
While creating Purchase order you need to create the two line items as below,
1. One line item with subcontracting charges and in the component list Material M1, with item category L.
2. Another line item for procuring material M2.
With this your both e purpose will get solved of paying vendor charges for assembling & procuring materila M2.

Not Purchased songs import from iphone4 to itunes

How should I import my songs which are not purchased from itunes but I have sync from my computer. Recently, I fromatted my computer and lost all the music folder I had. The only back up I have is on my Iphone4 Music. I have tried all didnt worked out. Are there any one who can help me on this situation.

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is ituens purchases.
The ipod is not a backup device. Copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

Material Return from 542 movement type without purchase order

I have a problem regaring material return from vendor through 542 mov type against purchase order.
when i transfer material to vendor with mov type 541. and after grv if we return material from vendor against purchase order.
system doesnot allow to return material against purchase order. it allows mov type 542 for returning material from venodr without pruchase order.
Suppose we have 10 quality for a component to transfer vendor we take grv and issue 5 qty through 543 move type automatically. if we want to take return 5 remaining qty from vendor against purchase order .
system doesnot allow to return component from vendor against purchase order.
but allow to return component from vendor without purchase order.
vendor stocks becomes less but purchase order still open for open quantity.
how we could control vendor's returing material with the reference of purchase order after grv.

Are you creating return Po for subcontracting vendor with item category L.?
we used movement type 541 to send material to vendor ,now you want movement type 542 in system means take back from vendor?
I don't think so it will make work and make any sense
why you are not adjust your component with subcontracting adjustment in sap mm

I selected "ACC Encoder-iTunes Plus" for import settings to import cd's. I assumed music purchased from the iTunes Store was mp3 format.Which is it?

I selected "AAC-iTunes Plus" as my import settings when importing CD's to my iTunes library. When I reviewed "get info" on purchased songs from iTunes, it says "Kind: Purchased AAC audio file". All of the purchased songs in my library say this. I assumed all purchased songs were "automatically" imported in mp3 format. Do the import settings I chose also apply to purchased music? Also, what can I do to have my library songs changed to mp3 format?

All songs sold in the iTunes Store are AAC/256.
The import setting affects ripping and conversion. It has nothing to do with purchases from the iTunes Store.
If you need MP3s, you can convert your AACs by using this procedure: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1550 But it would be easier to buy MP3s in the first place, for example from Amazon MP3.
MP3s can be used in iTunes or almost any other player, program or device.

You would have to let itunes rip the songs from the cd's, or you would have to copy the music from the computer which ripped cd's.
iTunes does not support transferring music from the ipod unless it was purchased from the store.

I find it so frustrating that first I had to purchase iWorks for my Mac, then I had to purchase it all over again for my IOS device so I could use iCloud, then I purchase thousands of dollars of movies and am not able to store them in the cloud, yet we have only purchased the rights to the songs no differently than we have the movies. Why would they exclude movies from icloud?

They are not part of icloud in all countries, becuase the movie industry in those copuntries does not allow Apple to offer this.
