Excise duty for some line item of material document is not posted
Dear CIN Exerts,
In my Scenario user is Posting Excise invoice for every GR (105) by J1IEX to generate Excise invoice.
In some Past cases, if there are more then one line item in a GR then Excise value for some material is not showing (May be that time user not Did J1ID (Excise rate maintenance ).
Now the problem is that we wants to post excise Duty for those material WRT material document for whom it was not posted.
Please let me know that how can we do so (excise posting against Material document) so that it get reflected (for those line items for which Excise deuty is not posted) in MIGO > Document Display> Excise items tab .

Excise posting is not recommended by sap for movements 103 or 105.
Refer or search for SAP notes with subject CIN Limited functionalities.

I want to excute CO27 for an FP . It will create material documents. The max line item is 100 in each material document. But I want to record 400 lines in a material document. Is it possbile to change the number of max line in material document? How could I do to change that ? Thanks !!I know about 333 in case of physical inventory because the finacial document has a technical limitation of 3 digits for Fi document item number, which means the FI document cannot take more than 999 lines.
In case of physical inventory a material document item can create up to 3 FI item lines. So the limit for physical inventory became 333.
I dont know from where you have the 100 as limitation, but take the above said into consideration before you change anything. -
NO quote for some line items in a Bid Invitation
Hello Experts,
We have implemented SRM 5.0/Bidding Engine.
For example, When we create bid invitation with 10 line items, and invited about 5 bidders to participate.
Please note each one of line item is having about 15 attributes which are all required. It is not an optional attribute.
If one of the bidder is not interested in bidding for about 3 line items and standard functionality is - the bidder will make submittied quantity field to zero, so it will be ignored for any further checks.
But this is functionality is not working in our production system.
Please help me to resolve this.

I do not think it works the way you suggested.
If you make dynamic attr required, they will be required and making 'submitted quantity' as '0' will not change that.
Pl create a OSS message, if you feel strongly about it but I doubt you get a solution as it's not a bug.
Instead of using 'Required' field in Dynamic attributes, you may try to use BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI to control the required checks.

From line item text field in Fi not posted to COPA characteristic field?
How do you create the link from the Line item Text field in FI to a characteristic field in COPA?
I tried to create a characteristic field Text. from the domain VBELN in COPA.
Although I can post from CRM the contract number to the Line itemText field in FI posting,
I can't get this contract number to post to a characteristic field in COPA.

Cash Discount Calculated for One Line Item and not for Other
Hi All,
We have devloped a Z program which is used to Write of InterCompany AR and AP recon Account to another GL Account. In this program to clear line item we have created a BDC which calls t-code FB05. Thsi program is running perfectly fine for all company codes.
There is new company code SG20 for which it is not clearing the line items. It has created a Session in SM35, when we analysed the seesin we found that for some line items system is calculating Cash Discount and for some other line items it is not but the payment Term is same for all the douments with 3% 14days.
I need your help in understanding that why for some line items system calculates the Cash Discout where as for others it is not calculation..also the Posting Date is same for all the documents.
Please advise what could be the reson for this.

Cash discount is calculated based on the combination of baseline date and payment term conditions.
Hence please check the baseline date for all the documents, in which the cash discount is not appearing.
In your case, the possible reasons could be that 1) baseline date is different between these documents or 2) payment terms cash % is manually modified in the line item of the documents.

Partial delivery of sales order with some line items
Hi all,
Please help me in the issue i want to create delivery against sales order partially for some line items of the sales order . Can any one suggest me the procedure how to do it through programing .

You have several methods of doing same.
Method 1
Go to VL01N, and given your sales order number.
Without giving the line item, just press Enter
Now inside the delivery, you can delete unwanted line items, and you can adjust quantities under Item overview tab.
After that do picking and PGI.
Method 2
Go to VL10E,
Give your sales order number and execute.
Mark relevant schedule lines only and press execute,
then those line items with marked schedule lines will copied to the delivery document.

Free Goods for multiple line items of the same material
Hi Friends,
We have configured Free Goods to a particular material in such a way that if the customer orders 100 qty of Material A then he gets 10 qty of Material B free. This is working fine if there is only one line item of Material A with qty more than 100.
However, if the order is created in such a way that there are two line items of material A for 50 qty each then the system is not giving the free material B, even though the total ordered qty in the sales order for material A is 100.
How can this be configured in the system? Please Help.

Excise invoice for price difference required with material code
Hi
In my scenario, we have charged less amount to customer at the time of sales.
For ex: Sales order was prepared for Rs.10000 and relevant excise duty was (@ 10% was charged). We did delivery and billing. We issued excise invoice as per Rs.10000 and relevant excise duty on it.
But actual basic price is 10100. We will charge Rs.100 and we have to charge relevant excise duty on it. However there will be no material movement.
1st i posted Debit note to customer with FB70 with following entry:
Customer A/c.. Dr 110 (100 + 10% excise)
To Sales A/c 100
To Excise Paid A/c 10
Then i went to J1IH and gave FB70 document reference. Following entry was posted
Excise Paid A/c... Dr 10 (This amount i gave manually which is OK)
To Excise Duty Receivable 10
Now my doubts:
1. How to credit Excise Duty Payable in J1IH. Which transaction type i need to check for it (DIEX or OTH, etc)
2. How should i take print of excise invoice (for above J1IH). My material number should also get printed on invoice. But i am not specifying any material in J1IH
3. 2. Can i create separate transaction type and then use it to J1IH. If yes then how to create and assignHi Tanveer
I did following steps based on you input
VA01 - Created Debit Memo no. 3
VF01 - Billing Number: 130012001 and accounting document number: 100000248.
J1IS - Clicked on create icon. Entered billing number 130012001, transaction type as OTHR and other CIN related details.
It went to next screen. In that screen manually gave material code, units assesable value, chapter id, Basic Ex duty, Ecess and SHEC.
After giving it gave prompt: Excise Duty will be recalculated. I clicked on YES.
Entire line item got deleted and nothing happened.
Please help how to proceed in J1IS with above mentioned data. Which all field needs to be filled in J1IS.

based on VBKD-BSTKD_E line items has to create.
if VBKD-BSTKD_E = 3011192 is like 4 records in excel means for these 4 should be one SO
if it is changed to 3011193 then only different SO.
PLs If any one knows solution pls write some sample code for me.

Instead of using BDC , why dont you make use of BAPI.
As you are on ECC, you can make use of BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
Collect all your records based on PO # and pass them into line item table structure ORDER_ITEMS_IN.
*--Logic something like this.
loop at it_exceldata into l_line.
loop at it_exceldata into l_so where bstkd_e eq l_line-bstkd.
*This will loop at all the same PO#
*collect the data related into corr tables. and append
endloop.
*Now you are outside the loop.
*Call the BAPI to update this SO
delete it_exceldata where bstkd_e eq l_line-bstkd_e.
endloop.
Also pass all the necessary data to header structure ORDER_HEADER_IN
Do not check for Sy-subrc at the end of execution.
Instead read the Return table with message type 'A' or 'E whichi means there is an error/abort in BAPI execution.
Remember to expicitly COMMIT_WORK after succesfull execution of BAPI using BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT

I'm working on a export scenario, I want the excise invoice NOT TO capture excise duty (none of these BED,AED,SED). I am not sure but I think it's called ZERO Duty Excise invoice. In exports, as we all know exports are excise exempted.
There are several items in the invoice(approx 15 items), unfortunately in my case the excise invoice is capturing all of BED,AED,SED for each material and my Excise Duty total is exceeding the total invoice(VF01). Which should not be the case.
Simply put my excise invoice should be similar to my commercial invoice in terms of Net value and each material value and it should print Zero Excise duty for each material.
To achieve my objective can I go to FTXP and for the TAX Code maintained for UTXJ put zero for BED,AED,SED and also make the excise condition types statistical in my pricing procedure.
Is this the right approach?

To make my life miserable, they are using the same Document and Same pricing procedure for other exports scenario where it is mandatory to capture excise and other taxes(can't argue it's their requirement). So the second option of making the tax condition types statistical is ruled out. So, apart from FTXP do I have any other options.Same pricing procedure for other exports scenario

It is nothing wrong capturing ED in export invoice but it should be statistical.
my Excise Duty total is exceeding the total invoice
Check in J1ID > Excise Tax Rate as to what percent has been maintained for those chapter ids. System will calculate based on this assignment only.

I have to make report for my application in which I am facing a following problem:
In the application there are multiple suppliers and each supplier having multiple line items and each item having multipale events. each evant having three status GREEN,RED and BLUE.
When a user select 'all suppliers' to show the the status time span for a supplier (i.e. for a supplier how many parts and upto how much time parts are in blue, red and green status)
to show the cumulative status time span I have to find out a event for each line item which is having nearest lower entry time from the lower part of the given time span.for this i have write following query

the problem is that i have to fire this query for each line item, can it not possible that i can retrive it for all line items in a single query?maybe if you can post some sample data and output will help us analyze more youre requirement.

Price and Pricing conditions are not copied to PO for a line item !!

Now, I add another line item to this existing PO, i get an error message that the Price and Pricing conditions are not copied.
How do i rectify this error !!
