Excise group is not appearing in J1I9

Dear All,
I am not getting the excise group in J1I9 for number range maintenence for J_1IRG23A1.
Same excise group I can see in dropdown meny while posting excise invoice in J1IEX, but in J1I9 it s not appearing in dropdown menu.
What could be the reason.

As i said it is SAP bug some time while u create excise group system does not update J_1INEXCGRP table for number range some times it update
so u will have to do this manually in this table is it has not updated
while u move ur settngh to production also u will have to manually check if ur excise group have come to this table if not u will have to maintaine manually
i have done in so many of my imple and roll outs and it has been suggested by SAP also
hope this is clear now

I have maintained an Excise Group XX in the basic settings [IMG Logistics General  Tax on goods movement  India]. I wanted to assign a number range for this excise group XX. When I tried to assign a number range for the object J_1IRG23D to the Excise Group XX the error shows u201CExcise Group u2026. XX does not existu201D. Though the Excise group is available in the settings, it is not appearing in the number range. Please help me to solve this problem.

Dear Bharathi,
Once again you check the excise group in the IMG >Logistics general>Tax on Goods movements>India>Basic settings-->maintain excise groups check which for which plant you maintained.

Excise tab in not appearing in GR (new plant configured)

Hi Experts,
Excise tab is not appearing while GR posting.
I have configured a new plant in Sandbox server for testing purpose. Have done all required settings as under:
- New Plant configured
- Complete Excise related configuration done in Logistics General-> Tax on Goods Movement
- PR and PO created successfully. PO showing correct excise duty, cess, hcess, CST component etc.
- Material and vendor excise details maintained properly in J1ID
I guess I have missed excise related config somewhere in SPRO
please help !

#Did you have Separate Excise Registration Number for new plant! check & define in following path:
SPRO ->> Logistics general ->> tax on Goods Movements->>India ->>Basic setting ->> Maintain Excise Registrations
##For new plant, Excise Reg. number need to be assigned to new Plant , check Excise Reg. number assigned to new plant
SPRO ->> Logistics general ->> tax on Goods Movements->>India ->>Basic setting ->> Maintain Plant Settings)
###Check Excise Group created & assigned to new plant in following path:
SPRO ->> Logistics general ->> tax on Goods Movements->>India ->>Basic setting ->> Maintain Excise Groups)
For above setting also select check box of EI Capture and select check box of Post EI in MIGO

Excise tab is not appearing in Import of STO material-MIGO display

Hi Guru's,
Excise tab is not appearing in Import of STO material-MIGO display.
Find the Process steps below.
1)Stock transfer order using NB document type-(Company codes are different)
2)VL10B
3)VL02N-PGI
4)Customs Invoice in Indian rupees.
5)Capture excise invoice-J1IEX(Capture excise invoice w.r.t PO not STO)
6)Goods receipt with Reference excise invoice(Excise tab appearing while posting goods) MIGO
7)Post Excise invoice--Accounting entries everything is correct.
After posting the MIGO when we display Material document in MIGO, excaise tab is not appearing for this scenario only.Rest of all Excise tab appearing.
Note:In J1IEX display of excise invoice in Reference document2 field Material document should be there but not showing its empty field.

Excise captured & posted using J1IEX using 2 step procedure won't appear in MIGO screen.
Display excise invoice using J1IEX(using vendor excise inv. no. or internal document no)
Only excise captured & posted in MIGO(Single step) will be appear in display of MIGO screeen.
Check SAP Note 952287 - CIN: Limited Functionalities in Country Version India -CIN -Q.no.5
5. Incoming Excise Invoice capture at Blocked stock 103 is not
supported in CIN.
The capture of incoming excise invoice is strictly advised to carryout at
unrestricted stock and not at blocked stock(103/105) due to architectural
issues. The capture at blocked stock may cause wrong excise posting.

Excise Tab is not appear in the MIGO display --- Import Process

Hi Experts ,
Excise tab is not appear in the display of the material document in Import process.
Process flow.
1. Import Po.
2. Customs clearing (MIRO)
3. Capture excise invoice against the Import Po.(Reference to MIRO document )
4.MIGO with movement type 103, in excise tab i selected only refer the excise invoice , here excise ta is coming . Lot is also generated .
after posting the material document , excise tab is not appearing against the material document .
5. post excise against the excise invoice .

EXCISE GROUP H1 NOT RELEVENT FOR PLANTS IN PURCHAGE ORDER

While creating vendor excise invoice by Tcode: J1IEX it is throwing error AS MENTIONED BELOW,

Check the series group which your giving in J1iex.. Has it been assign to to Excise registration of Plant. And you have given us the Message number and application area. If it is a customized message then you need debug with Abaper.

Excise details are not appearing in transaction code J1IEX while capture and posting the PART-1 & 2 Entries in case of STO throuhg SD route.
All the details are maintianed in J1ID its not appearing in JI1IEX

Have created J1id for the receiving plant.
Is it within co.cd or different co.cd.
Have given the cenvat determination in J1ID.

Excise Invoice tab not appearing in MIGO

Hi all,
While doing MIGO, we only capture Excise Invoice and Part I is updated. We avail Cenvat thru J1IEX and update Part II separately. We could process both these transactions but after posting, when we display the GR, we can not see the Excise Invoice Tab and Excise item though entries have been posted.
Can anybody suggest how can we bring this tab in GR display

1)Have U created Master Data in J1ID,If U are allready Created Master Data pls Check Mtrl Type(It should not Non Cenvatable)
2)If you are following TAXINN,Then u should maintain Tax code to Company code.
If u are Using TAXINJ,U should maintain Excise Defaults.
3)In Excise Group,U should Activate MIGO transactions.
4)Check ur TAX code,Tax code is Deductable or non dedctable.

we are facing a problem after posting excise invoice,we are not able to see excise invoice tab in MIGO display mode .We are done all necessary patch uploading but there are some ABAP programming change related to MIGO display.

How you posted the excise invoice, have you done this posting in MIGO transaction or in J1IEX transaction.
If you have not gor the Excise tab in MIGO while posting you cann't get the same after posting also. You need to do settings for this in IMG settings for the excise group customization then you will get this excise invoice tab in MIGO

Excise condition types not appearing in the Delivery document pricing

Hi,
This is a scenario of sales from an Exciseable Plant.
The client has pricing requirement at delivery document.
I have configured the pricing at Delivery document, but the Excise condition type (JEXP) does not appear.
We are maintaine ED values at control code level and control code field is not availabe in LIPS, i tried adding the field in LIPS structure but still the ED condition type does not appear as program is not identifying the control code field in delivery.
Can you please let me know the solution for bringing Excise condition type in the Delivery document pricing procedure.

New MAC OSX Address Book Groups Do Not Appear in iTunes for iPhone Sync?

New Groups (and their associated new contacts) created in the MAC OSX Address Book since the initial installation of my iPhone do not appear in iTunes, and hence do not sync with iPhone. I have tried the Advanced - Replace information on this iPhone - Contacts to no avail.

I had this problem for several weeks now!
I followed your procedure and - addresses there, calender gone! Even worse!
So I copied the old SyncServices Folder back into /Library/Application Support/
result as expected, calender there, addresses gone.
My lady called, I was on the phone for 10 minutes or so. Coming back to my iMac I see a Sync-Problem-Icon jumping in the dock. I've been told that one of my addresses has a conflict between adressbook and iPhone. OK. Solve it with adressbook, please.
I open iTunes and everything is there, calender data and adresses!

Excise duties values not appearing in the RG1 register

Dear All
After updation of RG1 register and extraction of the same on checking the entries in the table J_1IRG1 we are not getting the BED ,Ecess and SECS.In printing of this register the same values are not appearing.
Further this register is around 524 pages.It is showing per transection.How can we redure no of pages.
Please guide in this matter.

DB Group updates not appearing in OBIEE

In the BI Server, we have an authorization block that returns the user's groups from a database. If we add or change memberships in the database table those user changes don't appear unless I checkout and check in or update the row count for that group in BI Server. Caching is not enabled for the database or in the NQSconfig file.

What do you mean by "changes don't appear"? Don't appear where? Are you using row-wise initialization of the Group variable? If so, have you turned off caching for it?

Update Windows AD Group Graph not appear in Administration Tool in CMC

Hi,
There are objects in CMC--> Public Folder --> Administration Tools
In administration tool, there are two objects
1) Update Windows AD Group Graph
2) Update Windows AD Group Graph and Aliases
these are not in Adminstration Tool folder. When I try to import from other environments, got the message the object is read only.
I also update the object in CCM-->update objects. It does not work.
Has anyone experience the same problem, and fixed it.
My envriorment is
BOE 3.1 SP3
Windows Server 2008
Sql Server 2008
Your help would be much appreciated to solve this issue.

I solve this issue by migrating the UpdateADPlugin.en.biar file.
After that it is appeared.
