Excise is not flowing in the existing GR after system upgradation

Hi Gurus,
We have recently upgraded our system from 4.7 to ECC6 with patch level
9. Here Tax codes are not working for the POs already existing in the
sytem before Upgrade.At the time of Partial GR the excise is not
flowing in MIGO. The taxes tab is also not flowing the tax details in
the PO in invoice tab. We are unable to make those partial GR. But POs
being made after upgradation are having no problems with any of the
existing Tax Codes. All the Tax Codes are found working all right for
them.
Kindy help us how can we solve the issue immediately as it is very
urgent to us.

Re-recording all of the eCATT scripts after system upgrade

Hi,
Ive heard something today that got my attention: some people say that you have to re-record all of your scripts after an upgrade. In other words, upgrade from, for example, 5.0 to 6.0 makes eCATT scripts unusable and worthless. It is not just some screens or screen sequences have changed, and must be re-recorded. It's a total change and <b>everything, all scripts</b>, have to be re-done.
I would like to get some clarification on this.

Yes, I've also heard about this before. We do not use a lot of CATT (it's been turned into the data loading tool), so it is not an issue for us.
Here is my concern - we are on ECC 5.0 (WAS 6.40) and using eCATT to create and maintain scripts for automated functional testing. Let's say, we upgrade our system to 6.0 or 7.0, and want to use existing scripts for regression testing. I do not want to discover unexpectedly that our entire (all of it) existing body of automated scripts cannot function with the new version of the software.
Please let me know if you have similar experience with managing eCATT scripts upgrade in the past (say 6.20 to 6.40).

Excise value not flowing in MIGO

Dear All,
While doing MIGO, the Excise value for BED, ECESS is not flowing but the values are flowing in Purchse order. But the SECESS alone is flowing in both PO and MIGO.

%age entered in the Info record condition type is not flowing to the PO

Dear SAP Experts,
I have created a condition type ZCV1 by copying the condition type JCV1. But, if I enter the percentage in the JCV1 in the Info Record, it flows to PO, but, the percentage entered for ZCV1 in the inforecord is not flowing to the Purchase Order.
Request to provide solution for the above problem.

Cost Center not flowing in the GL view

Hi Friends,
The users have made the entries in the system and defined the Cost centers in the respective fields, while posting the documents. However, when we run the GL Report thru FAGLL03, we notice that the Cost Centers do not get displayed in the Report. On further checking the documents posted we find that the cost centers are maintained in the 'Entry View' but these do not flow to the GL view. This is resulting in the values not getting picked up in the Report Painter Form which is based on the table FAGLFLEXT. How can we chek and waht needs to be done on the config side to enable the values to be flown in the GL view as well and get maintained in the table FAGLFLEXT.

As advised by Guarav earlier, the cost center scenario has been maintained and in the GL Cost center field has also been included. But still the cost center is not displayed in the GL view.
Is there anything else to be checked in this case.

Data type change made to schema.xml of comments list which is part of blog site template is not reflecting in the existing site but working fine when new site is created.

I have created a blog site with the available site template few days back. Now we have the requirement of having the attachments in the body of the comments section.
So, I updated the schema.xml of the comments list available under ../templates/blog/lists/comments/schema.xml to have rich text for the Body field.
With this change, I created a new site and it was working fine. Change is reflected in the new blog site.
However, this particular change is not reflected in the existing blog site. Any changes made to the schema.xml is not effecting the old blog site.
Can anyone suggest what can be done for the change to be reflected in the old blog site?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to add attachments in the body of the comments section.
You can add the the Code inside the Default list pages. For more information, you can refer to:
Enable Attachment in SharePoint Blog post list and display the list Attachments
In addition, you can add an enhanced rich text field to the comment list and remove the body field. Then you can insert files into comments, too.

you can remove preferences files by navigating to the Preferences folder for your user as follows:
0) Quit ALL iWork apps (Keynote, Pages and Numbers)
1) from the Finder select the menu item "Go > Go To Folder…". This will bring up a dialog:
2) enter the path "~/Library/Preferences" (no double quotes)
3) find the files:
com.apple.iWork.Keynote.plist
com.apple.iWork.Numbers.plist
com.apple.iWork.Pages.plist
and move these to the trash. I would NOT empty until later.
4) restart Numbers

Ipad 3 on 7.0.4 will not go past the passcode screen after bootup

hi all.i have ipad3 on 7.0.4 and it willl not go past the passcode screen after bootup without restarting This happens immediately after i press the fourth digit of my passcode (yes the correct code is used) It happily sits at the initial lockscreen working seemingly perfectly giving me the usual notification etc. but as soon as i swipe the screen, bringing up the numeric keypad and enter the four digit pin the screen goes black and then it begins its bootloop scenario all over again. i would dearly like to fix this WITHOUT needing to resort to taking a chance opn IOS 8 yet because it seems to me that it should be avoided at the moment until someone resolves more of the many big issues people are complaining of currently, and in their wisdom apple have chosen to stop signing any ios 7 restores recently so i cannot restore or upgrade within the realm of IOS 7 its IOS 8 (the farce continues) or nothing. Check the following:
1. Check credit card number
2. Check security code
3. Billing Address must be the same as credit card
4. Check expiry date
5. Make sure you have sufficient fund
