Excise Items selling as Non Excisable Items

Dear All,
My Client Purchase Items with Excise. some times they sell those Items as without Excise.
How can I map this into SAP B1.

Before selling those items, you need to transfer that in non-excise warehouse and from there u can sale.

When this happens he says to put it in Airplane Mode, very briefly, just long enough to see your cell signal turn into a plane icon, then back again.
It works most of the time, just re-establish your WiFi connection and off you go.

Having had DVD/CD drives in all my previous laptop Macs since 2001 - (2) G4 Powerbooks, A 17” Mac Book Pro - and also inspecting a friend’s year-old Mac Book Pro which had the DVD slot - unless someone told me at purchase, I had no reason to know that the Retina display version of the 15” had NO DVD drive. ANYHOW, I fully intended to buy the non-Retina display version, because it was cheaper. Unfortunately by the time I got to the Apple store they were no longer selling the non-Retina display version; all versions were ONLY with the Retina display. And the fine distinction of a DVD vs. a non-DVD drive was not pointed out. So now I have to shell out an additional $80 bucks for an external SuperDrive.

What Happened to the "Plus" Songs in the iTunes Store?

I can't find any plus songs for purchase in the iTunes store. I used to be able to search for "+" songs, or browse for plus songs, but there are no links. Even searching for any song, browsing the songs, etc., show NO plus songs in the store.
The only reference to "Plus", is to update some previous purchases to plus. I even tried searching for those songs and there are no results with a "+" next to them.

A while back (sorry, can't remember exactly when... 2 years?), Apple stopped selling the non-plus versions of songs (128 kbps, DRM protected). They now only sell the "plus" version so there's no longer a need to make the distinction.

hi I'm standing in the election of a MacBook 13" Retina VS MacBook 15" Retina I do not know what to choose.
I need it for school and some games.

I want to buy the 69 cent songs they always had.... I don't see the options anymore...

I think that the ITMS store is selling it non-DRMed after may. the article you listed only mentions the Bands website. I would start there.

Refurbished MacBook Air 1.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i7

I was wondering if this hardware combination really exists.
The reason I ask is that when I go through the steps of building a new 13.3 1.8GHz configuration there is only the option of 1.8GHz i5 or 2.0GHz i7.
Is this possibly a typo on the apple website or does a 1.8GHz i7 exist, even though it's not an option for a new Air.

he means new as in most recent, but still refurbished models
the 1.8ghz i7 was on the 2011 macbook air, the 2012 model has 2.0
they are no longer selling any non refurb 2011 models which is why they dont appear on the site
its an upgrade

Non stock items procurement with excise duty

Dear Experts,
We are using TAXINJ procedure , For non stock (without material master) items procurement , we are manataing tax codes with BED 10 % ECESS 2% and SECESS 1% and in J1ID excise rate mantaning with CHAPTER ID , but in the case of non stock items there is no material master so there is no chapter id for that , even i have mantained without material id and chapter id combination also , but while creating PO with this taxcode excise duty are not caluclating , please tell me what we need to do caluclate excise duty for non stock items.

Hi chandu, you maintain a A blank material in J1ID ( ONLY SPACE under material coulmn) and other details as usual.
You issue will be resolved.

MIRO slow for non excise items

Hi Experts,
When i do MIRO for Excise items it only takes 3-4 minutes but for non excise items it takes 25 minutes approx.
WHen i enter the PO number it takes 5-10 minutes to get the PO item list. When i change the tax it again take 5-10 minutes
Overall posting MIRO for non excise item it takes 25 minutes
I also tried indexing on MSEG: MANDT LFBJA LFBNR LFPOS & MSEG EBELN EBELP but it also didnt work out.
Can anyone please elp me on this.

Excise for Non-Po items (Samples)

Hi all,
Our client wants to map the following scenario in SAP:
The client receives the Samples for R&D purpose from the Vendor for which no Purchase Order is created. In SAP this is done as Non-PO purchase against the Cost center as there is no Material Code maintained for R&D material samples. Now when the end-product of the R&D is to be sold or removed from the factory it is excisable and hence appropriate registers need to be reflected.
So the question is if the samples do not have the Material code then how can we avail appropriate cenvat for the sale against purchase.

Kindly confirm with your excise team. I think as per the central excise rule you can not avail excise credit on sample items.

Both excisable and non-excisable items are in a same location (Warehouse)

What will be best solution for the client (of SAP B1 2007 B PL7), those who have both excisable and non-excisable items are in a same location (Warehouse)...??...Is there any need to create two warehouses?... but how will be the excisable setting???

The best solution would be only to create two diffrent ware house for excisable and non excisable
, to avoid unneccesary confusions, and to stay away from un avoidable errors

Need to capture the excise for the excise tab missing item in GR

Hi Masters
Our users has done MIGO with one line item(for Material A) with excise item tab and other line item(fro MAterial B) without excise item tab(non availability of Chapter ID).
They are able to capture excise in J1IEX for the first item only with the help of GR document.
But they want to capture the excise for the second line item?
When we process the same GR document in J1IEX once again it shows error that documeny has been already processed.
How to resolve this?

Hi,
If u have done only GR for Both materials then Cancel ur GR and Post it again.
And if you have Done J1iex for first material then Cancel GR first then Cancel Excise Invoice.
Now to cancel Excise Invoice follow the path as
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Materials Management ® Inventory Management ® Goods Movement ® Goods Movement (MIGO).
In the top line:
Select Cancellation.
Select Material document.
Enter the number of the goods receipt that you want to cancel
Choose .
Flag all of the line items as OK.
Save the reversal document.
Reversing CENVAT Postings
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Indirect Taxes ® Procurement ® Excise Invoice ® Incoming Excise Invoices ® Individual Processing ® Change/Display/Post/Cancel.
In the top line:
Select Post CENVAT.
Select Vendor Excise Invoice.
Enter the excise invoice number.
Choose .
Choose Simulate CENVAT.
A dialog box appears, showing which postings the system will make to reverse the CENVAT.
To close the dialog box, choose .
Choose Post CENVAT.
Canceling Excise Invoices
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Indirect Taxes ® Procurement ® Excise Invoice ® Incoming Excise Invoices ® Individual Processing ® Change/Display/Post/Cancel.
In the top line:
Select Cancel.
Select Vendor Excise Invoice.
Enter the excise invoice number.
Choose .
Save the excise invoice
if Not solved then please specify that is error by system.

Excise problem in case of free items

Hello,
My user is having following issue.
Vendor has sent 3 items, out of which one is free sample. But on that excise has to b paid by us (which is approx 3000rs). So when user is trying 2 do GR, first 2 items dont hav any problem, but after checking ITEM OK tab in case of 3rd item(which is free sample), system shows run time error (A value does not fit in a calculation field.)
What may b the remedy for it. How 2 handle this?

First if you don't want to take credit of the free sample then follow the below procedure:
1. Do the GRN for all the three item and for the free item in the excise tab at the item level select the material as non cenvatable. Just remember to add base value of the item
2. If you want to capture the Part1 entry then just do the normal transaction and while posting the excise with J1IEX just remove the excise duties for the free item.
3. For paying the vendor the excise amount, just do subsequent debit in the MIRO and in the details tab add in the unplanned delivery cost the amount that you want to pay for the excise duties
Second case if you want to take credit of the duties:
1. Do the Normal GRN process, add the base value and excise values for the free item.
2. Post the Excise duites with J1iEX.
3. The with the account entry you can settle the excise payment
