Excise tab not comes at the time of return delivery

Hi,
I am facing the issue that excise tab is not coming at the time of return delivery.However I am able to make the excise entries at the time of GRN.
kindly provide the solutions.

While receiving of material through MIGO transaction then system will Shown "excise Invoice" tab in MIGO tcode. But While Return delivery of material, then system will not shown Excise invoice in MIGO, because the Return delivery is nothing but issue of material to vendor or outside the gate, So in this case we can use transaction code J1IS.

We are using PO and IBD process
But after return delivery to the vendors the IBD is not getting updated, becasue of which we have to create the fresh PO insted of makeing use of old open PO.
how this can be corrected

Excise capture not coming at the time of mogi

I am having a import PO, at the time of migo, i am not getting excise tab. i have maintain all the field in ji1d and taxes on india.
but for the same po in j1i5 it allowing to capture excise invoice.
but i want to capture excise at the time of migo

HI,
Have you done the miro for capturing all the custom duties .iF done, the system will ask for the commercial invoice no during MIGo, then enter the corresponding invoice no and year, then the system will take you to the excise tab.

Material Class 001 - Characteristics not comming at the time of GR

Hello,
I am trying to use material class 001 in material.
I have created Characteristics and assigned to Class (001) and have attached this class to Material.
But when I do Goods Receipt of PO, I do not see any tab with classifications.
I have also tried activating batch (as some say that I have to activate batch to get the characteristics at the time of GR) but this does not help.
Please let me know, how can I get the characteristics to get populated at the time of GR.

I have a group of materials "Bicycles". Within this group, there are 5 material numbers, BIKE1, BIKE2, BIKE3, BIKE4, BIKE5. Each one of these is sold as a separate item to the customers.
Now, my customer service group is having a hard time entering orders. They can never remember which one contains which combinations of colors and Derailleurs.
I create a class 001 BICYCLES and assign two characteristics, "COLOR" "DERAILLEUR". Possible color values are "RED", "BLUE", "SILVER". Possible DERAILLEUR values are "10SPEED" and "12SPEED". I then assign the materials to the class, and enter values for each of the 5 material numbers.
Now, when Customer service wants to find out which MATERIAL to enter into their sales orders, they can look up all the MATERIAL numbers that have specific MATERIAL based characteristics: Blue/10 speed; Red/12 speed, etc etc.
Later on, my Quality manager approaches me. For one material BIKE1, which is a Blue/10speed, I have 3 different factories where I build them. The resultant bikes are virtually identical from each factory. However, the manufacturing methods in each factory are different. My Quality manager wants to determine accurately the source of each manufactured bicycle, so that he can track warranty liability and issue recalls if necessary.
I create a BATCH class type 022 and assign 2 characteristics "MAN_PLANT" and "YEAR" I create several batches: "PARIS2010", "ROME2010", "LONDON2010": In the batches I assign the appropriate values: MAN_PLANT "PARIS", in another "ROME", and another "LONDON"; in all three I enter the value for year as "2010", I activate Batch management.
Now when I complete my Production orders, the three plants each receive their production into stock, but now they must enter a batch. The batches they enter upon receipt identify the manufacturing plant and year of manufacture. In my central warehouse, I now have BIKE1 stocked and sold under 3 batches: PARIS, ROME, LONDON. My quality manager is pleased.
I am rewarded with more work.

Excisable material: Excise invoice not entered at the time of GR (MIGO)

All SAP Gurus,
By mistake we have not entered an Excise Invoice at the time of GR (selected no Excise invoice), now we want to post the excise invoice in our system.
What can be done for this?

Reservation not updating at the time of over delivery

Hello Experts,
At our client place over delivery is activated in production orders.
At the time of confirmation , system is allowing for doing the GR of over delivered material.
But at the time of GI, system is not calculating the raw material for over delivered material.
For example:
We have the order for 10 FG, we have 50% over delivery.
we are doing the GR of 15 FG , but at the time of MIGO/MB26 system is calculating the ROH for 10 FGs only.
Kindly guide how to correct the process.

If you are delivering 15FG where as 10 FG is your ordering Qty then you must be consuming extra components and operation hrs physically as well in SAP system you need to update the same against the production order .
,did you add that extra Component in Production Order -Component Over view or did you add that extra man hours directly in Operation hrs in Operation Overview screen in CO02 ??
Even you have over delivery of 50% , you should have upadted component , hit the cost calcualtor and assing them to respective ooeraiton in CO02 and capture the same in Production Order reservation number ( Check in MD4C or MB25 wether your extra materials are under same reservation or not ) so that Store can issue the extra material for over delivery in MIGO-261 and CO11N -extra man hrs can be posted .Once you did this , check in Production Order -CO02-Extras-Cost-Costing trend
You will find the planned and actual cost with variance .Check in CO02-Goto-Documents Goods Movement -It will refelt the cost of materil (261/101)

At the time MIGO excise tab not open in case of excisesable material, we have already update ch id, Cenvat determination & Vendor excise details in J1ID

Hi,
Check "Duty different at GR" check box selected or not in MIGO Setting segment in Maintaining Excise Group setting in following path( if not just select the check box)
SPRO ->>Logistics general ->> tax on Goods Movements-->>India -->> Basic setting -->>Maintain Excise Groups
Also check in above path the Excise Reg. is there in Excise Groups Segment.
For your new plant check Excise Reg. number is assigned in following path in Maintaining Plant Settings
SPRO ->> Logistics general ->> tax on Goods Movements->>India ->>Basic setting ->> Maintain Plant Settings

Please make sure whether you have maintained the Excise Default Settings for Tax Procedure whatever you are using
take the reference of standard one that will be better and maintained it in SPRO-IMG
The Path is
SPRO>Logistic-General> Tax on Good Movements>India>Basic Settings------>>> Maintained Excise Defaults
after that Check all these given below
-In J1ID the material chapter Id combination is maintained.
---The Cenvat determination is maintained.
---The Vendor details and vendor status is maintained.
This will get solved your Problem

IO assigned with Asset,but not coming at the time of PO creation.
I have made following settings:
1     Depreciation - IFRS (INR)              1     0L

In ACSET-Account assignment:
for dep area-20

so currently i am using only dep area-20 only(Indian GAAP)
CAPEX budgeting is through IO. AUC is not doing through IO,its directly from AIAB/AIBU

so what is the problem,why i am not getting IO (which is in display mode in PO) when assigned the Asset with category of "A" (asset) in PO.......when i assigned Asset- the GL account come automatically but IO didn't come.

Bridge CC does not come to the front, when opening file from explorer

Hi everybody! Please let me now if there is way to solve the following problem:
When Adobe Bridge CC is opened in the back and I surf through files in Windows Explorer, after I double-click the file I want to view, Bridge does not come to the front, like normal image viewers do, it opens the file normally, but unfortunately for me it stays in the back. And I want it to show up every time I open an Image!

Any App in Windows opened in the background has the ability to show up every time it is called... Except Bridge for some reason...
If I double-click MP3 file - Windows Media Player shows up, even if it running in the back
If I double-click a text file - Notepad shows up, even if it running in the back
But if I double-click an image file - Bridge just stays in the back

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.

Having a MBPr late 2013 and having a sound problem the sound does not come tom the headphones even its all the way up and when i remove the headphones it docent come out the internal speaker either ? any idea how i fix this?

Hello. I've been able to play sound without problems through headphones or external speakers to date - the output always switched to these automatically until today. Now, sound output continues through internal speakers even if I plug in headphones or external speakers.
- I tested the headphones and speakers on other devices: they work fine.
- When I plug in headphones or speakers into the audio output port (I have verified that I'm not using the input jack) the devices are not detected and are not listed under the output tab in system preferences-sound.
I concluded from this that I probably had a problem with the audio port, so to test that I tried the following. I plugged a powered multi-USB device with ports for microphone line-in and headphone line-out into the USB port and switched it on. I verified that it was working by plugging a USB stick into the multi-USB device - this was recognised successfully, so the device was clearly working. I then plugged in headphones and speakers into the audio line-out on the multi USB device - but still no sound came through them (and tey were not listed among output devices) and the Mac continued using internal speakers.
What should I do? Does the latter test suggest that the problem does not lie with the audio port, or is my test not conclusive? What would you advise?
