Excisie duty updation problem during RG1 register update

Dear All,
During updation od RG1 register, excise duty has not been updated in Rg1 register. Transactional entry updated but Exice duty/ ecs/ CEss is showing zero value.
It happened with two materials only. all excise master data has been maintained for that material.
What will be reason ?

Hi Mangesh,
I hope you are using the std transaction J1I5 for RG1 Register update.
Normally we update the RG1 Register using the material documents.
So check whether for the material documents which you updated whether an excise invoice has been created or not ? because std - J1I5 transaction doesnt check the same.
If you have updated the RG1 register after creating the excise invoice for the above materials doc's then excise value will be updated in the same.
IF its not happening then check if any SAP notes are available.

RG1 Register Updation Problem-

Hello,
we are having two plants, both are manufaturing plants. having same excise group and Excise registration number. Actualyy both the plants are situated at same place. M001 is linked to M001 company code and M002 plant linked to M002 Company code.
M001 plant Receive the Finished good from Shop floor via Production oder and Rg1 register updated through J1I5 t code.
Now Business wants to do Stock transfer for moving of FG material to M002 plants for sale from M001 plant. Every material will sales from M002 plant. Business is making STO from M001 to M002 Without excise .
How to Update RG1 Register in M002 plant. Received entries updated in M001 company code RG1 Register and but sale from M002 plant how to update Rg1 register.

301 movement type is assigned to RG1 register and
Material and Chapter ID and material Type "RG1" mainatined in J1ID....
We have transffered the material from M001 company code to 9001 through MB1B with movement type 301.
system is not showing any documents here for updation of RG1 register through J1I5.. here clssification selected is "RMA" receipt from Manufature"

You can Extract,Update and print the PG1 register after creating the Excise Invoice even domestic or Exports.
There is no hard and fast rule with regards to updation of registers with ARE1 or ARE3.
Use the Classification type IWE as classification type

J1I5 -RG1 register updation in production UoM whil havin differ. Base UoM?

Dear gurus,
I have come across a situation where chapter ID assigned to material has UoM as MTS (metric ton)..while base unit of measurement in Material master is MTR(meter)... while updating RG1 register using J1I5 system is picking quantity in MTR though production unit is declared as MTS and conversion between MTR and MTS is fed already. It is desirable to have entry in UoM given in chapter ID not in base UoM. Kindly tell me a way using which UoM in J1I5 can be selected or changed.
well i am aware of that it is always preferable to have it Base unit of measure but there are other constraints of sales and PP etc which have compelled us to go with present situation ... please tell me if there is a way to make it work.... since raw mat. is bought in MTS and different goods have different conversion in MTR ... to do proper costing MTS is needed and for sales point of view MTR is important

RG1 Register Updated Error

Dear All,
I have select Movement Type is 601 and Classification is IWO and select the RG1 option.
Next i go select the view list of items and simulate the list. All the items are marked in red color. I do not know.
Please kindly to give the clear process for RG1 .

Just wanted to know, 1)whether you are using this functionality for the first time or
                                    2)it was updating the RG1 register earlier but it is not updating now.
If your answer is 1), .......
                                         A) You need to maintain the necessary settings related to movement types relevant for updating RG1 register
                                         B) Check that whether RG1 balance is uploaded RG1 opening balance table
                                         C) You need to update the RG1 inward entries before updating the outward entries
                                         D) Check whether classification IWO is relevant for RG1 updation or not
If your answer is 2), .......
                                        A) Check the RG1 balance
                                        B) Check all movement types associated with inward entries relevant for RG1 are maintained in customizing
                                       C) Check classification IWO is relevant for RG1
Let me know if it resolves your issue

RG1 Register updation , one material document is showing in red traffic

Hi Friends,
When updating the RG1 Register one materail document with 601 movement type and classification IDH is showing in red trafic light. How to correct this error?
Actually this material having stock in the plant and that material document posted properly also.
Please help me frineds?

Hi Shekar,
Actually I have selected first Classification as RMA , i hope this process may update the RG23A.I got all the data properly at simulation and i have taken all those values into register.
Next step , I selected the classification as IDH and rying to update the RG1 register. Here for some line items (Material documents ) are showing in Red Traffic light at the time os Simulation.
All ther master data like chapter ID Maintaince and Cenvat determination is maintained properly.

Excise Duty rate problem

Hi all
here is problem in excise duty rate miantanance in JIID. our are purchasing material from the same vendor with different excise duty rates (for Ex: one is 16% and other 12%) in the same plant. can any body suggest how to maintain different rates for the same vendor in J1ID.

Applying all update\patches during 'install software update' step

Hi,
I have created software update group (around 10 updates\patches) and deploy it to 'unknown computers' collection. Ts 'Install software update' step scans through and only installs 2 updates out of 10. I have kept deploy property as 'required' while publishing
on 'unknown computers' and 'install software update' has 'All Software update' selected (other option is mandatory update'). I want to have all the 10 required update to be installed . any idea what should be the settings on 'deploy' prperty for software group
that install all the updates in the group during 'install software update' step? Any pointers will be appreciated

Yes , they need a reboot and reboot is happening automatically. I believe, once reboot is done, other patches should take over with installation. I don't see any information for another updates that are part of same software group. For these 2 succefully
installed updates log has below that indicates they reboot and finish.

Mac app store updating problem, mac app store updating problem

got this a week or 2 ago. its an update for my hp printer software
but when i click the update button, it gives me this message
i tried shutting off my comp a few times and there is absolutely no other update going on in the update panel, so the message doesnt even make sense.
please help. my printer is important for my office work.

Can't tell where you are located but it may be worth checking it out with the HP site.

RG1 Register Updation Process URGENT

Dear All,
During the updation process for Excise Invoices, how does the system differentiate between an export shipment and Domestic shipment.
In the J1I5 transaction code there is a field called classification where we have
IDH : Removal from factory on payment of duty for home use
IDE: Removal from factory without payment of duty for export under bond
What i want to know is how the system distinguishes between documents that belong to IDH transaction and documents that belong to IDE transaction. are there any settings required for that.
Because when i select the IDH transaction the system is also selecting export documents. what can be the reason for the same.

Selection
On the selection screen, you specify:
Which documents you want to cover:
Enter general organizational details in the Company details group box.
Enter details about the documents that you want to include in the register, in the Document header and Document details group boxes.
Which register you want to update, in the Registers group box
Whether you want to run the program in batch mode
You can also check what date the data was last extracted.
Output
The system displays a list of material documents that have not yet been entered in the register.
Select the documents that you want to add to the register.
To check if there is enough stock in the specific excise group for the register for issues or receipts, select the line items and choose Simulate.
We recommend that you use this option before proceeding; it will show the line items that can be updated in the register.

The system updates the Part I or RG 1 tables with the material documents.
For RG 1 issues to sales, wherever there is an excise invoice it is picked up and used for RG 1 updating.
The same option can be used for creating entries in RG 23A or RG 23C Part I registers. While creating entries in the register, system will pick up only those material documents for which Part I posting has not been done yet.

RG1 Register updation issue

Dear All,
We are having one series group per plant for all sales scenario ,
This we did to maintain plant wise single number range series for all sales scenarios,
now the issue is how we can separate them while updation of RG1,
e.g. Domestic Sales, Export Sales, Rebate Export, Deemed Export.
Even though excise invoice type is also maintain properly in J1IIN,
for example: while updating of RG1 in J1I5 with classification IDH all entries is coming for updation including domestic sales, exort sales, deemed export etc,

See First of all RG1 extraction is for material but not for sales area or plant
Any way since you are telling through series group or excise group
mention that excise group plant and classification and extract RG1
Since it is respective to material we can extract it for all materials only.

my ipad2 was stuck in restore mode while updating to io6 through itunes on my macbook pro. updated everything on my itunes and laptop still had the same error code. finally i went in my laptop security settings and turned off the firewall. now my ipad2 is loading io6 while im typing this.

Problem during Transaction in update

I am using a Bussiness method UPDATE in which i am first deleting the record and then i am creating agian the same record with the new values. While performing create operation if any of the values passed are wrong, then create process fails. and the whole UPDATION fails(also record is lost), to avoid this i wann to rollback the transaction once there arises problem in create process. To perform this kind of rollback what are the transaction properties to be performed.

Transaction mode of an JDBC connection is by default auto-commit. You have to set the transation mode auto-commit as false.

In table "J_2IRG1BAL", which integer field i want to give initial stock balance ( through MB1C transaction i upload with 561 movement type).
because lot of integer fields is there in that table.
