Excite 7.7 JB bluetooth drivers bug (pairing issues)

Hi!
There's a relatively well known Android Bluetooth drivers bug that causes constant unjustified pairing requests from an already paired device. My Excite 7.7 (JB) is definitely prone to it with the Torque Pro app. I think the occurrence of the bug is both Android OS version and application dependent. For example, see discussion here:
http://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=2076.0
The developer basically says that the manufacturer needs to come up with a fix. I do not really want to get involved in a lengthy phone conversation trying to convince the support people that the bug exists. Any ideas?

While in the office yesterday I backed up my phone, wiped it and reloaded iOS 7.1.1, BT pairing issues resolved. PITA!

  • N100 Bluetooth Drivers and Sysprep issues

    Hello all,
I'm using a 3000 N100 notebook running Windows XP Home Edition.
After re-formatting and re-installing my OS using Rescue and Recovery, I have been experiencing 2 issues:
    1. Whenever Windows XP starts, I get the Sysprep Wizard and each option that I choose (It doesn't matter since I don't need to create more SIDs), The computer just shuts down/restarts and I'm not receiving any activation prompts (I don't even have the activation option on the system tools menu).
    2. When I try to access My Bluetooth Places (Start Using Bluetooth), I keep receiving an "Installing Bluetooth Drivers..." message that freezes and crashes the moment it comes up. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the latest Bluetooth drivers from the website, but the problem presists.
I thank you in advance for your assistance,

  • Bluetooth iPhone 4s Pairing Issue

I'm hoping someone can help me.  While in the Bluetooth screen under settings I hit the "forget" button on one of my available devices.  Now I'd like it back but I can't get it to "discover" the device again. Any suggestions?

Check the manual, either the paper one you received with the headset or an online one, however it generally involves holding down the answer button for a short period of time until the light flashes red and blue.

  • Apple Bluetooth keyboard not pairing under Bootcamp/Windows7

My Apple keyboard that came with MacPro1.1 does not pair when using it with BootCamp and Windows 7. I installed bootcamp and Windows7 today. My machine is running OSX 10.6.8 and Bluetooth software version 2.4.5f3. The Apple mouse pairs under Windows but the keyboard doesn't. I have searched through forums and learned that I need to do the following:
a- Change Bluetooth drivers under Windows to Apple drivers,
b- First rename then remove both mouse and keyboard under OSX,
c- Add both mouse and keyboard under Windows 7.
d- Add both mouse and keyboard under OSX.
During step c above, the mouse pairs without ant problem but the keyboard does not. The keyboard is discovered but does not ask for a code to pair as it does under OSX. I do not have Apple keyboardand Mouse firmware upgrade CD (why would Apple not provide it as a download?).
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
I have the same problem. Did you ever fix it?

  • Bluetooth Drivers did not install.

    Hello,
I'm running Windows 7 Professional x64 on my 2010 13" Macbook Pro. Installed and working correctly. Installed the extra drivers using the Snow Leopard disk after install.
I'm trying to install my old Apple Wireless Mouse (A1015) through bluetooth, which is a feat in itself, but I noticed that Windows doesn't recognize any bluetooth devices at all. There is no Bluetooth radio transceiver in 'Device Manager', or any Bluetooth option in Control Panel. There is only a Bluetooth File Transfer Program, but other than that, no bluetooth anything anywhere else.
Tried to install generic Broadcom Bluetooth drivers, but it couldn't find the bluetooth device. In 'Add a Device', Windows can't find the bluetooth mouse, and I'm guessing its because there is no bluetooth on this machine. (Bootcamp 3.3)
Bluetooth is working fine in Snow Leopard. Is there any place where I can download the specific drivers for the Apple Broadcom Bluetooth Device or any other way I could tell if there actually are bluetooth drivers installed? Or should I try inserting the Snow Leopard disk again?
    Thankyou.

Yeah, like I said, no Bluetooth Device is listed under Device Manager, and I expanded and checked every category there.
I already searched these forums and a few others for solutions. The majority of the problems from other users have been with specific devices not pairing up or devices which suddenly stop working. And none of those answers/ solutions pertain to my situation. My problem is that there is no bluetooth whatsoever recognized by windows on my machine.
The only vague answer I managed to scour up from some random corner of the internet was to manually extract the drivers from the Snow Leopard disk. Unfortunately, my disk is not available until I return home from school in another few weeks. It's not an urgent matter; I only wanted to pair my mouse to play the new game I bought, Skyrim. It blows because the trackpad completely ruins the experience, so I have to hold off on using a hefty purchase I made for a while (yeah, that feeling)....
That is assuming that manual driver install method is successful though, which I am a little doubtful of. I would appreciate any other feedback though.

  • Windows Vista Bluetooth Drivers

I have finally been able to get the drivers installed and working for a USB connection by downloading the USB drivers from Blackberry.com.  I had to uninstall Desktop Manager 4.3, then install the newly downloaded drivers, then reinstall Desktop Manager 4.3.  But vista still does not find drivers for bluetooth.  The BB connects via bluetooth and will sync and stuff, but vista is still missing those two drivers.   Any ideas?  Is there a place to get bluetooth drivers?
    Thanks!

    Hi All
I take it were experiencing "Bluetooth Perhiperal Device" in "Device Manager"
    This is what I have.
I have three "Bluetooth Perhiperal Devices" in Vista Device Manager with (!) by them, all related to the Nokia N95 - All appears to be working OK however, I don't like having drivers or devices in fault.
I have the latest software on my Nokia N95 and I am using the latest version of the Nokia Suite (6.83.14.1)
I did read that there is a problem with the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack on Vista, however when I switch to the Broadcom Software it wont let me comes up with an error message. (openmedia)
Is there any hope on the Horizon? - there does not appear to be a Vista Compatible Driver on the Nokia website.
With the Modem - I manually installed "Nokia Bluetooth Modem" instead of "Standard Modem over Bluetooth Link" so I can use it with my Laptop, and that works OK.
    Shunts....
I will mostly be communicating with a Nokia E72 Zodium Black
Nokia E72-1 with Vr 051.018.207.04 Software

  • Need Palm Bluetooth Drivers For Windows 7 64 Bit

    Hi,
I am a long time Palm Pilot user and I have been there through all the trials and tribulations.  I have just bought a new computer running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit edition and I am trying to find the drivers for Bluetooth sync.
I am using a Palm Tungsten E2 and the Palm OS 6.2 and with the computer I am currently using (Windows 7 Home Premuim 64-Bit)  I sync via Bluetooth and never had any problems and want to keep it that way.
WyreNut and several members did a lot of work when Windows 7 first came out and helped a lot fo people with synch issues.  I have searched the Forums and cannot find a link to where I can download the Bluetooth drivers so I can synch my Palm Pilot via Bluetooth to my new computer.
If someone could kindly point me to where I can get the Bluetooth drivers I will be grateful.  Thanks so much.

Hi, please clarify as it sounds like both your old and new computers are the same OS.
As you know, the E2 has Bluetooth built-in.  There are no Bluetooth drivers to download.

  • Bluetooth Drivers for Lumia 520

Windows Vista can't find bluetooth drivers for Lumia 520. Where can I download these from?

File Transfer Protocol is not supported in Windows Phone. To my knowledge you can use OBEX to transfer files provided obviously both sides support this.

  • Bluetooth is not pairing to other devices

bluetooth is not pairing to other phones

I have had the same problem. Got my iphone yesterday and it won't even find other bluetooth devices, just keeps saying it is searching and the little wheel keeps spinning constantly. I called my network provider for advice and they checked that bluetooth was switched on and that all other bluetooth devices were 'visible' then said there must be a fault with the phone and are sending me a new one. looking on other forums, it would seem this is quite a common problem with the iphone you should be able to pair with other phones even if they are another type of phone, and you should not need an app of any sort to do so! Bluetooth has been around alot longer than smartphones and therefore never needed an app to work on any of my previous phones

  • Bluetooth drivers for thinkpad x200

it appears my windows 7 32bit thinkpad x200 has question marks at bluetooth adapters in device manager.
I have installed the drivers that are available on the website of lenovo producer, but no change is observable.
The device seems to work well, that is share and access files with android smartphone, and use android's internet, but when it comes to sharing internet with the smartphone, there is no transmission. I wonder if broken drivers could be the cause.
    any experiences?

  • Windows 7 does not load the ipad bluetooth drivers

I am trying to connect my ipad 2 to a windows 7 computer and the computer will not load the ipad blutooth drivers so a connection is never made.

    Hi Phil,
It's funny that you say that Reflector runs on Wifi and not Bluetooth. I thought the same thing and that's why I was having a difficult time with getting this to work...on top of the bluetooth drivers not installing properly.
When you initially connct your iPad device to your computer through bluetooth, your PC installs bluetooth drivers...you can see this by the little notifictaion you get that says this. Setting up your device...installing drivers. So you can't tell me that there are no iPad bluetooth drivers.
You have to enable bluetooth on your ipad to get to the mirroring icon. (double tap your home button and scroll to the left. The mirroring icon should be visible and only visible if you have bluetooth turned on. Now if you run Reflector, then you should see the name of your PC that you shared through Reflector. Then you click on the mirroring app on your iPad and select the shared name on your PC and slide the mirroring toggle button to turn it on.
I have tested this on another laptop running Windows 7 and everything installed perfectly fine...even the bluetooth drivers.
So my conlusion is that it is the bluetooth drivers at fault here, since they didnt install properly. No matter how many times I remove the device and readd it, the bluetooth drivers do not install and I see red x's beside them.
Not sure what is keeping the drivers from being installed.
BTW...thanks for your reply Phil...see posting to this year old thread did me some good as you replied
    cheers,
    Tom

  • Windows 7, 64bit Bluetooth Drivers - E72

    Hi
I am trying to connect my E72 to my laptop (Windows 7, 64 bit).
I need to troubleshoot the device and get the error message: ' Driver for peripheral device is not installed'.
I cannot find any Windows 7 bluetooth drivers for the E72 on the Nokia support pages.
Can anybody help, anybody having the same problem?
    Thanks!

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and bluetooth is working just fine with Nokia E6, using Nokia Suite from betalabs.
Some drivers cant install but there isnt any problem to connect the device and transfer files or sync with the computer. I hear that other brands have massive problems with 64 bit operating systems...this is very common problem for other brands also. I can live with this as long as the syncing and file transfering continue to work.
Bluetooth can sometimes be a pain in the xxx....but i love it when it works and mostly my Nokian phones manage it very well during the years.
Nokia 808 again (delight Belle), Nokia E7 and X7 ( again, all on Delight Belle...after some time on Nokia Lumia 925 (retired), 1020 (not that great)and Lumia 820 (Replaced my router at home, great for internet sharing).., N9 The best device ever (use it as much as Lumia 1020), Nokia 700 (Sport Phone/My Love :-) ) Nokia 701, Nokia E6 (Should have a follow-up from Nokia among with larger screen, NFC, Autofocus), Lumia 800 (Retired After 6 weeks), -Sports Tracker-Nokia Internet Radio-Handy Safe-Skype-Bambuser-Screenshot app pro-fMobi-ComingNext-Manual TaskSwitcher-jagiTimer-Easy StopWatch-Boldbeast-Equalizer-Financial Calculator-WiMP Music-YTasks-Davi-Thumbnail Folders-BizCalendar-Tiny7-Situations-nn reeder-Sport Timer-CameraLover-CameraPro-GrabRadio-LiveScore-Poddi-Gravity-SkyFilesPro
