Excite PRO 3G connection not work after Android v4.3 update

Hello,
I live in Italy and on last Sunday (january 26th) my Excite PRO tablet (model AT10LE-A-10H) got the Android version 4.3.201121220.35.
After restart my wifi works fine, all other app work fine, but my 3g connection doesn't work, mobile network bar is empty and it says "no service".
My sim card is ok. I used this sim card before the system update and I didn't get any problem with Android 4.2.2.
Please help me.

Go to the mobile network settings and search again for the 3G network.
I had similar problem with my Android Smartphone and my o2 provider
I started new search, then I chosen the O2 again and then I could solve the problem.
In case this does not work for you, recommend you to reset the tablet back to default (factory settings)

This happened to me as well. AT&T had me reset my network settings and this fixed the problem. Here is how...
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
"For now" the problem is fixed for me.

External monitor Syncmaster 2494SW not working after 10.6.7 update

External monitor Samsung Syncmaster 2494 SW stopped working after 10.6.7 update on 2011 MacBook Pro. I'm using miniDP-DVI adapter. The monitor shown correctly in Display Properties with right modes and name. MackBook recognizes connection but the monitor goes to PowerSave mode (LED indicator blinks).
Safemode boot, SMC reset, PRAM reset did not help.
Exactly the same setup works perfectly under 10.6.6.

HERE IS THE EASY FIX SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM GUYS:
I have an 15inch MacBook Pro that I've just installed Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on.
Prior to this install, I've had it hooked up to my Samsung SyncMaster 2243 via an Apple MDP/VGA adapter and a third party VGA cable. It has been flashing on and off a black screen every now and then for the past 2 years and I googled that it was just a crappy communication between the MBP and the Samsung... but now since installing 10.6.3, the Samsung display just flashes the desktop for a second then turns black for good - occationally flashing analogue/digtal prompt display. Tried everything for hours. Nothing worked, thought I was gonna have to buy a new all Apple VGA lead then came across Michael's above solution. Tried it and it worked IMMEDIATLY!!! And the monitor doesn't flash black anymore AT ALL!! Whoo-hoo!! Thanks heaps.
WHAT TO DO TO FIX:
Go to => System Preferences => Energy Saver => change graphic settings to Higher Performace.

Drobo not working after 10.5.8 update

My drobo stopped working after 10.5.8 update. Now I lost all my data on the drobo. this doesn't make me happy.

This makes absolutely no sense to me.. but maybe I am wrong : Because firewire is much more reliable than USB and manages to keep highest transfer rates (without jumping up and down as USB would do as soon as I/Os go up...) Especially on a Mac ! (only for the latency I am not too sure, but I guess it is similar on fw and USB.. just increase the caching if you stream hd movies on the network...
From my experience, sharing a USB drive on the network is probably much worse.. you can find example on the web.. (Orb, Plex and else will start drop frames when connecting to a USB shared drive.)
I currently use my drobo plugged to my Mini with a fw800 to 400 cable,4*1.5tb hdds, I also share it on the network with gigabit ethernet, and get much better performances than any usb shared drive.
Sorry I do not have any precize measurement, but I can upload or download a 6tb file in about 10minutes over gigabit ethernet, and I guess the bottleneck is now the Drobo controller...
The protocol you use may have an impact as well (afp, smb,...) but whatever you use, I suppose Firewire will be faster.
As a general advice, do not update or upgrade anything in general before you have a backup of your data, this is true for any storage system, Drobo or not.
Oh, and Data redundancy on a raid is not a backup of course.

IPod touch not working after 5.0.1iOS update

It seems like a lot of people are having issues after the new 5.0.1iOS update. I want to share my frustration and what problems I'm facing. After the update my ipod won't sync properly. It freezes my computer and then my computer shuts down everytime I have my ipod connected to my computer. My music and apps on my iPod are like ghosts they are visible but do NOT work after being pressed. I tried resetting the ipod, same problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, same problem. There is only problems with my computer when the iPod is plugged into the computer and trying to update. I am so ANGRY because I love my iPod and I can't use it to listen to music or communicate with my family and friends. I hope Apple will help all of us soon and fix these HUGE bugs, and FAST.

Have you tried the sandard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
- Retore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

Touch ID will not work after the recent update, rebooted iphone to no avail. I then deleted all finger prints, but iphone will not recognise new fingerprints ..... Annoyed is not the word ! Any ideas ?

Hello all. Fisrt of all, this are my specs: Yoga 2 pro 13". WiFi card: Intel(R)Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260. I bought it from Best Buy on November 27, 2014. If you aquired your Yoga before this date, you may have the single band WiFi card. As many of you have experienced, I also had a bunch of issues with my WiFi connectivity and this is how I was able to solve it. At least it has been a couple of days that I haven't had any issues. The first symptom was the usual connection drops every X amount of time. For me it was about every 2 hours. I first unchecked the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option in the Power Management tab of device manager and disabled U-APSD support in the Advanced tab of device manager. This action did not solve the problem. I then downloaded and updated the driver from the Intel web site (http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect) and this seemed to solve the drops; however, a new problem arised: Everytime my Yoga would wake up from sleeping mode, all my wifi networks were gone and the adapter showed as disabled in Device Manager. I would have to anable it to have my networks back. It was a solution but a pain the butt to have to do this everytime. After hours of reading post after post in several forums, I read a repy from Lenovo asking to try leaving the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" CHECKED if you were using the latest version of the driver. I went back to device manager and checked it back and that seems to have solved the problem. So far I haven't had any drops and everytime my laptop comes back from sleeping mode the WFi connection is still there! Here is a recap of how everything ended up: -The driver version I installed is 17.1.0.19-The driver date is 7/21/2014-In device manager|Advanced, U-APSD support is Disbled.-In device manager|Power Management, "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is checked. ThinkVantage Access Connections for Windows XP version 5.62;
ThinkPad Power Manager version 1.88;
Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox (32-bit) version 6.0.5514.61.
I've got a Lenovo T61 with Windows XP SP3.
Also in Device Manager, there are now the two "Other devices" bellow with a yellow question point and a yellow exclamation point by side:
Bluetooth Hands-free Audio;
Bluetooth LAN Access Server Driver.
Does anyone have any idea what can be done to have these issues solved?
P.S.: when I click Fn+F5 it shows only the Bluetooth Radio.

I've seen something like this on XP machines after updates a couple of times now - my T61, a friend's T400, and his daughter's T61. I guess that makes 3
_Maybe_ your situation is the same.
The fix in all 3 cases was to go to device manager and uninstall the wifi driver. Then scan for hardware changes and let it reinstall the driver. Something about how Access Connections or some other networking mangement thingy was hooking the drivers I guess.
On both of the friend's machines, the wired networking was also b0rked. Same fix there.

Apple tv network connection not working after 4.2.2 upgrade

I think the 4.2.2 upgrade has broken something. My Apple tv wifi connection has been working fine. Stopped working after the upgrade.
Laptop and mac mini working fine through the wap.
My wap is a time capsule
I've got good signal strength and a valid ip address. Still no connectivity to the internet or to my itunes library from the apple tv

If no joy reset settings in Settings menus.
If still no joy and you have a micro USB cable do a proper reset via iTunes.

You need to perform an Archive & Install of Mac OS X followed by reinstalling other updates applied to that system to uninstall the Mac OS X 10.49 update.

VPN not working after 10.6.8 update

I am using checkpoint VPN-1 version SecureClient_B634006015_1 for Snow Leopard. After updating to 10.6.8 my network connection outside my local LAN is not accessible. Can't ssh, ping any outside resource. If I turn off secure client then no problems. This worked right up until I updated to 10.6.8. Anyone have any suggestions or similiar situations?

Does anyone know why the Mac Cisco VPN client doesn't prompt for a user ID or Password?
I've been using the Cisco VPN client for over a year, but it looks like the 10.6.8 update broke it. I've heard that the Apple Cisco client works, but not for me.
When I try to connect the Authenticate dialog box comes up, but there is no where to enter my user ID or password like I've seen on dialog snapshots on the web. All I can do is click on OK or Cancel. At this point the connection spins for a while and then times out.
I've tried entering both my user ID and password in the Network VPN setup dialog, just my user ID and neither my user ID or password. Same results every time. The samples on the web show a prompt for both user ID and password.
I'm sure my user ID and password are correct because I've copied them from a Linux vpnc configuration that is working on a virtual machine on my Mac. I have navigated to the Cisco client file in /private/etc and used one of the web sites to decrypt the group password stored there. It's the same one I entered in the Network VPN dialog box, but to be absolutely sure I copied the decrypted group password to the Network VPN setup. Same results.
