Excite Pro - Battery Status Indicator at 0%
Battery status indicator is stuck at 0% - battery holds charge ok just don't know what it is. I presume the battery stats file is corrupted - is the only way to fix it a factory reset?
Calibration either needs root - not possible or 60% charge - won't work as says 0%!!!!
I think you should set it to factory settings.
Press and hold power button and volume up button. Then in the menu choose factory reset.
If this will not work, then the issue must be related to hardware failure

How reliable is the Battery Status Indicator?
I have had my MacBook Pro for a month now, and I don't know if I can trust my battery status indicator a the top of the MacOSX screen
It usually goes a lot shorter than the indicated percentage or the calculated battery life time.
I have another issue with this MBP.
Has anyone actually been able to use MBP for as close to 5 hours which is the battery life posted on the apple website?
I set my MBP to lowest backlight, no programs or widgets running, wireless and bluetooth off and kept it one for hours. The battery lasted a about 3hours and 49 minutes. Is there something wrong with this battery? As you use your MBP on battery it collects information on your battery usage style and uses that to predict battery run times. based on that it's reasonable accurate providing you calibrate your battery ever 4-8 weeks or so. Also, the data it collects the more accurate it can predict your battery time.
Once you start using your MBP differently though the accuracy can vary but should still remain "reasonably" accurate.
I personally find the times reasonably accurate altough for the most part I run off the percentage rather than time.
Has anyone actually been able to use MBP for as close to 5 hours which is the battery life posted on the apple website?
No-one will ever get 5 hours. As you note from the specs it's "based on usage" or more to the point, it's non-usage. Those time are achieved by having it on my not being "used".
Average battery times should range from 2.5-4 hours depending on your actual usage. -
Battery Status Indicator (in menu bar) does not update
I've recently noticed that the battery status indicator in the menu bar gets "stuck," and won't update. I can force it to update by disabling and re-enabling it, or by changing the view style, but if I leave it alone, it won't change, even across sleep/wake cycles.
Any ideas?Actually, the problem disappeared after a reboot. I reboot so infrequently, I didn't even consider that as a solution, but something else caused me to need to reboot, and after that, the indicator works fine.
Still no idea what caused it to get stuck in the first place, but for now, it's better.
Good luck! -
What is causing flashing arrow next to battery status indicator?
I have a flashing white arrow next to the battery status indicator on my ipod touch that is causing music to be unplayable. Everything else appears to be ok. Arrow goes away when doing anything other than music. Any help would be appreciated.
Could be the Location Service icon . Go to SettingsPirvacy and either turn Location services on or off.

Nokia E75 Battery Status Indicator?
Hello, well i have a problem. on most phones, if you go in the settings, there will be a section where it says all of the phone status. and i find this really useful when it comes to the battery. But on the Nokia E75 i cant seem to find the battery status indicator. Does anyone know where it is?
***Battery Status Indicator is where is says how much percent of the battery is left.Faulty battery maybe. The battery has circuitry that reports its charge level and it sounds like that isn't working. You should have it replaced under warranty if possible!

MacBook Pro battery level indicator is stuck at 100%
Got this MacBook Pro in January of 2008. Great machine, replaced battery last spring and more recently had some sort of repair done when the screen would not activate. No problems otherwise. Now all of a sudden my battery level indicator is stuck at 100% regardless of actual battery charge level. The computer will allert me that it needs plugged in immediately or it will go to sleep, but it would be nice to have the indicator working again. Any ideas?
JGIf it's a pre-unibody MBP with a removable battery:
1) Shut the computer down
2) Disconnect the Magsafe AC adapter
3) Remove the battery
4) Hold the power button down for 5-6 seconds
5) Reinstall the battery.
6) Connect the Magsafe adapter to power and turn the computer back on.
This will reset the System Management Controller. One of the SMC's functions is reporting of the status and remaining charge of the battery. -
Missing Blackberry Battery Status Indicator
I've looked all over the web, my instruction manual, the index inside the phone, and in still cannot find the meaning of this symbol in the middle of my battery bar. From what I've seen on the internet, its as almost as if it does not exist. I would probably believe so if it was not for the fact that I am staring at it right now as I type this. I have had problems with the USB port on it before and I am pretty sure that has something to do with it. Also when Its plugged into the computer and the port and USB are finally working in unison, the computer says that it is malfunctioned.
The icon appears when I've tried to connect to it to a computer or even sometimes to an outlet. It looks like a C or parentheses with a scrunched up 3 sort of like this:
C 3
or
( 3
I was surprised that no one else has seen or inferred about this icon and even more surprised that a complete index of all battery status indicators would exist; including those for malfunctioned or damaged batteries. Any help or recommendations to help me solve this problem is greatly appreciated.Hi silvaback75
Can you send us a picture of this icon?
Thanks

I have recently replaced the battery for my IPhone5 after a crash. After that the battery status indicator is not dynamically updating. It updates only after every restart. I tried resetting all settings, updated to recent IOS7.1, restored several times. But of no use. Please guide.
Hi,
I have the same problem with my now replaced iPhone 3G with iOS4...
I have this problem, when I charge my iPhone 3G with the charger, that was supplied with my iPad. And also the problem can only be solved, when rebooting the phone.
When charging, the symbol shows the "flash"-sign in the battery to show, that the iPhone is charging and the symbol changes to the wall-connector-symbol, after the iPhone has fully charged. But when disconnecting the charger, the battery-symbol still shows empty, until I reboot.
The problem occurs with the iPad charger, but it does not occur, when charging the iPhone inside my "JBL radial" soundspeaker-system.
So I think about a bug in iOS4

I just got a new Ultra HD Flip camera and do not see a battery status indicator on the screen.
I used to have an indicator on my Flip mino. Where is the battery status indicator on this device? The Flip Ultra HD camera does not have an on-screen battery life indicator. In a number of reviews for this camera, this is a common "con". Instead, the recording indicator light on the front of the device doubles as a battery life indicator. You can confirm this with a simple Google search and you'll find many reviews such as this: http://www.makefilmwork.com/2009/04/27/the-flip-ultra-hd/

My Battery status doesn't change on my MacBook Pro and then dies
Hi, I have a MacBook Pro that is maybe a year and a half old and is running Snow Leopard. Just recently (only yesterday) I realized that the batter status widget in the menu bar is lying to me. It always reads 3:35 (95%). And then it dies without a warning of low battery. It is extremely annoying and if not for the auto-recover function of Word, I would've had to rewrite an essay yesterday. Once I plug in the charger, the computer recharges. I think everything is working, it's just that the computer isn't notifying me about the battery status.
Thanks in advance!
