I was wondering what the ! beside some of my songs means, aswell as why are some of the songs "Checked" and some aren't? What do these things mean and also if I delete a song from my library does it delete it from my ipod? If my ipod is maxed out, how do I select which ones I want and which ones I don't?

An exclamation point beside a track in iTunes means that iTunes can no longer locate the track file to which the entry in the iTunes library points. This can happen, among other causes, if you manually delete a track directly from your hard drive rather than from within iTunes.
why are some of the songs "Checked" and some aren't?
I don't know of any reason why iTunes would check or uncheck songs itself, so most likely you've inadvertently clicked on them. Unchecked songs will be skipped when playing an album or playlist, so if you do indeed want them to play, just recheck them.

Yes, it will, unless you set iTunes to synchronize to your iPod manually rather than automatically. See your iPod manual or the iTunes Help for more information.

Set iTunes to synchronize manually or only selected playlists.

Got it sorted. AN e-mail to teh support centre got me three replies, two reasuring me that someone os working on it and the third giving me the information that the ID is enabled again and ready to use. All within 24h. Of course without any information as to why the problem came up in teh first place. At least it was swift action.

Yosemite 10.10.2 server app. FTP help. I have a program running in my local server enviroment that wants to FTP to my mac folder. It asks for the server , name, password, port and path. what are they?

So I have set up a localhost area in my Mac. I have the new server.app and I am running yosemite 10.10.2 .

I am pretty certain that the Serveris "localhost",
Name is my macs name (like my-mac-min)
password is "my login password"
and they suggest port 21.
But what is the file path, lets just say my site is set up http://localhost/siteftp and is actually at my Users/Sites/siteftp folder.
Why cant this program connect to the mac.
Is it because they are both operating in the same localhost enviroment,
could it be my folder permissions are not correct on siteftp folder?
Help please !

I tried turning the computer off and then back on. The alerts don't show the notice to update as resolved. Hopefully this is not a problem or an indicator or another problem. Should I ignore or reload 10.10.1 from the app store to trigger a resolved check in a green circle?
Interesting that I had to buy server software after my free Yosemite download. I would have hoped that the two pieces of software would have gone together without any complication. It is not positive to end up buying a problem. Ah well, time to move on.

It is only when you get to the bottom, and that you want to PLAY GAMES that it is possible to answer.
Having 7300GT is worthless, unless to use 3rd monitor.
Only Windows has better Nvidia graphics and drivers for games. And if you run Windows, you can use PC card and leave the 7300GT for OS X alone.

First thing I suggest that you do is to disconnect all other devices from the phone line the fax is connected to and only have that connected and also to test different numbers to see if you get the same error message regardless of where you send the fax. If you get the same error even then I would suggest that you lower the fax speed. You can do this in the Advanced Fax Setup in the Setup menu of the printer.

This error happens when I try to import into Dreamweaver. Sorry, I wasn't clear on that earlier.
I thought maybe it was because I had saved my image as a png. So re-saved as a svg, still get the error.
DO I have a setting is Dreamweaver CC that is wrong? Should I try this in Dreamweaver CS6? I might try that next.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You don't need to do anything, you have chosen to back up to iCloud instead of iTunes.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

One is a Flash movie project and the other two a PDF files - you usually have them in your Finder window bar because you've dragged them to that location. You can get rid of them by selecting the icon with the Command key held down and drag them to the Desktop - poof! - they'll disappear.

Terminal Errors: What Do They Mean And Are They Affecting LimeWire?

I am having a problem with LimeWire even starting up (after it bounces in the Dock, it stops as if it is suddenly quit. I'm guessing this is a crash). Normally, the Java dump/update works, but this time it did not. I deleted several plists due to errors a few weeks ago, but now I cannot run LimeWire at all. What does this mean? I think this may be why LimeWire is not running properly. Did this happen because I deleted so many plists or because I had to restart several times yesterday?
I have also repaird disk permissions as well, just not via safe mode.

What do you mean when you say that you did a restart in safe mode? I have the same problem as you had with limewire.
