Exclude objects list in RAR

When I exclude roles before scheduling background jobs the roles are excuded from Role analysis as expected but I want to know are those roles excluded from user analysis also when I run the batch user analysis job?

The excluded roles in exclude objects aren't getting excluded from the user analysis.
So I'm going to try the other option i.e defining those roles as critical roles and configuration is set to exclude critical roles.
Now on running the full user analysis, I'll check if it excludes the roles from user analysis.

Did you make the RAR configuration correctly?
Please Goto -> RAR-> Configuration -> Default Values
Here you will get,
Exclude Locked Users
Exclude Expired Users
Exclude Mitigated Risks
You can make these configuration to YES so that these will be excluded at the time of Risk analysis.

GRC10 Exclude Objects (Roles) - Batch Risk Analysis Job

All -
We are setting up some non-production GRC 10.1 systems at this time and are trying to exclude project roles from our dashboards via the "Maintain Exclude Objects for Batch Risk Analysis" table [SPRO --> GRC --> AC --> ARA --> Batch Risk Analysis].
The problem that we are encountering is that this Batch Risk Analysis is taking an extremely long time to run on our Project Users even though we have excluded the project roles that these users are assigned.
For example, User A has 3 project roles which hit a very large number of SoD violations in our rule set, however in the exclusion list we have defined the three roles the user is assigned to be in the exclusion table for All systems and for the specific system that the job is running against. With no luck. The job still takes an average of 30 minutes to run on each user even though the roles they are assigned are excluded.
We have tested that the exclusion table works because we can exclude the users by adding them to this table and we can also exclude the groups that they are in and this also works. However we have instances where there are other users in this groups that have other roles in addition to these excluded roles that need to be checked.
Does anyone have any recommendations for how to excluded roles so that the job quickly checks the users with these roles? It is my understanding that if the roles are in the exclusion list they should be skipped by the Batch Risk Analysis job which is running to check these users for the dashboards.

Not able to see the objects in DSO Display but available in object list

Hi All,
I am facing a weird issue in DSO.
When I am right clicking DSO and selecting the Object list I am able to see all the (30) objects,
But when I am right clicking the same DSO and selecting Display I am able to see only some objects (20) objects.
DSO is in Active and execute version only.
Can any one tell me what may be reason for that. Because whenever I am trying to transport I am getting the error.

U get error when u activate the so in original system or only while u try to transport it?
what does th error message say ...are those info objects u are trying to add in active state?... If u are deleting any info object from the dso make sre u have deleted the data from that dso in the terget system before the transport

IDoc not found in Objects list while Import from SAP

We could not find the custom IDoc in the Objects list, to import to Integration Repository.

Are you able to see, standard/any idocs while importing ? If not-
In your SWCV, did you give SAP Logon credentials before importing the idocs.
Open SWCV in the repository, and choose option box "Import of RFC and idoc ....permitted" .
Then it will ask you to provide SAP system Id, Client , user id /password etc.. Then save and activate it. then try to import the idoc by going to Imported Objects section under SWCV and then Idoc and then import it.
If you are able to see standard one, then I thing you did not activate the custom Idoc types/message types and segment in R/3 system.. do this and check

Select All in Object List Maintenance Item

Hi fellow SAP users,
Does anyone know if it is possible to select all equipments/flocs at once in the object list of Maintenance Item. I have to delete several Object Lists and some of them contain over 300 entries. Till know I didn't come any further then selecting them one by one before deleting. A very time consuming job. Furthermore I want to write a script for this in Innowera, but then the selecting one by one becomes an issue.
I would greatly appreciate your help.

COPA line item report, Number format -output type - object list(ALV).

I am preparing COPA line item report. I want to change number format (two decimal place). I did the changes in form level then I did the changes in drill down report as well and saved as save definition.
But changes are not reflecting in- output type - object list(ALV).

Every month i need to find the list of .rar files from the
E:/TempBackup directory from the different environments (remote desktop servers) and i need to delete the current month
.rar files alone from the respective (E:/TempBackup) directory. below is example files structure inside the
E:/TempBackup.
example:
zDROP_2014_08_31_Backups.rar
zDROP_2014_09_31_Backups.rar
zDROP_2014_10_31_Backups.rar
from the above list i need to delete the zDROP_2014_08_31_Backups.rar(current month) file alone and also logs should be capture for this deletion.
key words for this are zDROP and Current month and date.
i need a stored procedure for this concept. could you please help on this.

In paintenance plan I have funtional location.In object list I have 5 Equipments.Now when order is generated there are 4 operations.All the operation is same to all equipments.Is it right.

1.In your case here we would do confirmation for each order operation and that will be applicable for all the eqpts in the oblect list of the order.
2. If you want to generate separate order with same operations for different eqpts then use maintenance item in the maintenance plan .Thus maintenance order gets generated for each maintenance item in the maintenance plan.The same order would be applicable for the list of eqpts in the object list of maintenance item ..

BADI for ME22n - Component Object List

Hi ,
I am working with transaction ME22n. When the item category is L. The material data tab shows a button called Components (Object List). On clicking this button i am taken to another screen which has childeren material items and the related data. I need to capture the values on this screen and compare them with the database values to identify any changes.
I am working with BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST , method CHECK and OPEN. Please tell me in which method parameter those screen values are stored and i can fetch them.
Also please suggest me any other approach possible which i can use to capture the screen field values in the component screen.

Please help guys, I have a Time machine at home and it will not allow me to remove the listing of my external hard drive from the excluded files list.
I am trying to use time machine to back up the hard drive. For backing up from Macbooik pro and Imac, there is no problem. It seems to not want to allow the external drive to be removed from the Excluded list and as such will not back up from it.
Is there a way to be able to transfer files (music, movies etc) to time machine, format the external drive then put the files back to hard drive?
Sorry it is a long winded question but it is driving me nuts that I cant sort this out.
The <Macbook and Imac are both running mountain lion.

As for the hard drive to which you have never been able to write, is it by any chance in NTFS format? OS X can read NTFS for importing files, but it does not contain code for writing on an NTFS volume. That's a choice, not a bug.
There is third-party software available to install NTFS-writing capability into OS X. An example is Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X. Another alternative would be to use a disk format that both Macs and Windows systems can use for both reading and writing; this would require either a new drive or erase the existing data.
If by "the new system software" you mean OS X 10.9 Mavericks, you may want to repost that portion of your query in the Mavericks forum at https://discussions.apple.com/community/mac_os/os_x_mavericks . I haven't made the leap yet.
I don't know what other problems you have been having, so I cannot comment on them. You don't seem to have any other recent postings on these forums.

COPA Report Layout with Object List (ALV)

Hi,
I have question about the COPA report layout with object list (ALV). Everytime I executed the report with ALV format, the amount for quantity column always shows with 3 decimal number, menwhile for amount column always follow by 2 decimal number.
Can anyone help me regarding this matter? I do not know how to turn off the decimal number to be 0 in this type of layout, although in the form itself I already put 0 decimal number.

PM Object list & Order time confirmation link tables

Hi Gurus,
We are using the Object list in the maintenance plan and the PM order is triggered. The list of functional locations are maintained in the Object list.
The monitoring / Inspection details are captured against individual object list during the time connfirmation using the SORT FIELD.
To track the time confirmation with reference to the functional locations used in the object list a report needs to be developed.
I can understand that the Object list initial details are stored in the table "OBJK".
However the data update after time confirmation is not refecting in the table "OBJK".
Can anybody share your experiences.

1. During the time confirmation (IW41) by selecting the Object list push button on the top of the page, the "SORT FIELD" can be updated and the "processing indicator" can also be set against each object line item.
2. The updated "SORT FIELD", "processing indicator" information during the tme confirmation can be seen in the order under the tab page "Objects".
