Exhange Rate not working in sales order
Dear all,
I am facing a problem with exchange rate, I have maintain exchange rate procedure in customer master with exchange rate INR 70 = 1 EUR, Now I am creating Sales order where as i m changing Exchange rate INR 65 = 1 EUR, in sales document header as well line item, but surprisingly system is not considering 65, it is only considering 70, But i want system must consider 65 which i m manually changing in sales order.
Please suggest me to solve the problem

After changing the Exchange rate are you updating the price by going to Item conditions? If not then update the price by clicking on update button and then select B : Carry out new pricing.

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by "picked up wrong exchange rate". Normally in the "Sales" tab in SO header you have a place where you can enter / see the exchange rate.

Copied layout is not working for Sales order item assinment block
Hi Experts,
I copied the standard componet BT115IT_SLS/items view layout with custom role configuration key and worked fine.
I have added one more field to the item view with the same configuration and saved .When I opended the sales order in the WEB UI , The item assigment block is displaying with complete BTADMINI context fileds and This is the issue.
I have seen configured fields only in the personalization and I have downloaded the items assigment block data to Execl.In the Execl sheet I can able to see the configured fields (availble fileds in the configuration tab in component workbemch) data only.
But Items assignment block is displaying all the fileds (taking from the context node BTADMINI).
I have deleted existing customer configuration and again copied from the standard layout.But I got the same issue.
I have wriiten some code in the ON_NEW_FOCUS and commented the code.Still it not working.
Please help me , where I have done the mistake and provide me some inputs.

Solved isuues myself.
The problem is inconsistency of BTAdminI context node . I have deleted the view enhancement and again enhanced the view .I copied the layout with customer role key and dispalyed expected layout.

Both Credit Limit and L/C are not working in Sales Order
Dear All,
We are working on Export scenario where order are created based on L/C and Credit Limit. In my scenario both credit Limit and L/C check is not happening please suggest.
I have created a sales order with value is 1024.00 INR. (My Credit Price is 1024.00 INR)
Customer credit Limit is 50.00 INR. (In FD32)
My L/C value is 1000.00 INR (In VX11N).
I have Implemented Dynamic Check and Assigned L/C to Sales Order. During Order process system blocking the order through Dynamic check. As per the above value System should not block the order. But System blocking the order. When I check Header -> Billing -> Financial Document Log, System showing the value update error. Its comparing entire Netvalue of the Order(1024) with L/C value (1000). How it is possible.
My requirement is system should consider both Credit Limit and L/C value. Please suggest.

Including above suggestions, try if Pricing date is coming. If not, this may be one of the cause. Go to VOV8, select your doc type and in "Pricing date/purchase order date" section, check the "prop for valid-to" and "valid-from" settings. Buth should be blank.

Incoming orders in COPA not working if Sales Order blocked for Credit Check
Hi all,
We need to build a report showing all incoming sales order by entry date and/or change date (change of values or quantities later on). COPA allows to do this, but the problem is that COPA line item table is only updated if the sales order is released from credit check (VKM3). I am looking for a solution to be able to record sales orders in COPA even if they are still blocked for credit check. By doing that we will be able to report all sales orders entered from COPA and provide basis for commissions calculation to the business.
I have investigated possible COPA enhancements like COPA0005 but it doesn't seem to be used at the time of sales order save.

As you said , the credit check in the service order is information message "Credit check (maximum percentage for ope
exceeded)" .
If you enter and come out this message then one more message will come , i.e., "The business transaction can not be carried out" detail message - System status CNOK is active (ORD XXXXXXX).
with the above message , system will not allow to do the Service order release.
In this particular case , we have done the VKM1 for the sales order to unblock the order from credit check . But again system is checking the credit check at service order (created w.r.t sales order) . we are not able to control this .
we also suggested the solution to the customer , saying removal of credit check for service orders . But customer requires credit check to happen at both the documents. -
Purchase order on Hold is not working from Sales Order document
Hello gurus,
I'm detecting a problem that I have.
I have created a Sales Order and then, this document create a Purchase Requisition in automatic.
So, when I create the purchase order, adopting the purchase requisition, I want to save this as on Hold.
The problem is that the button "Hold" is missing.
But, if I create a purchase requisition and I register the sales order directly (account assignment "E") and then, I create the purchase order, adopting the purchase requisition, the button "Hold" is not missing.
I have active the BADI to Hold, but, it is only mention restrictions with Third Party and Services, not with Sales Order normal.
Could you help me please a.s.a.p.?

Enjoy purchase orders cannot be put on hold if any of the following

In the case of stock transfers within a company code, the "Hold" function

New Condition Table not working in Sales order
Dear All,
I am facing problem in pricing procedure. I have created new condition table(LIFNR & ROUTE), included Vendor(Fwd Agent) and Route in condition table with sales area. I have added that condition table in access sequence and assigned access sequence to condition type. Then Condition type added into pricing procedure and assigned pricing procedure to document type.
In sales order I've added route and fwd agent but while checking in analysis system does not determine route and fwd agent.

where in sales order it will trigger automatically.
please check the config settings for route determiantion automatically.
so that if route comes automatically into the sales order then from where you will trigger LIFNR.

Material Exclusion Not working in Sales Order
Hi All,
I configured material Listing/Exclusion to make some materials available for(Industrial Sector customer) and exclude for ( Public Sector customer).
I used the following configuration procedures
u2022 Created a Condition table with combination of fields(Sales Organisation, Customer Group and Material).
u2022 Then created two Access sequences and Assigned the Condition table to each Access Sequence.
u2022 Created two condition Types and Assigned the Access Sequence.
u2022 Created Determination Procedure for Listing/Exclusion and Assigned the Condition Types.
u2022 Then assigned the Determination Procedures(Listing/Exclusion) to Order Document Type.
u2022 Using VB01, I created a condition record for Exclusion, select the sales area, defined the Customer Group as Public Sector and selected all the materials to be excluded. Also created the condition record for listing with the customer group defined as (_Industrial Sector_ and selected all the valid materials).
When I create the Sales Order the exclusion materials were allowed for the Public Sector Customer.
Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

As someone just told me, it has encountered the problem before and that sometime if the backup tables are not supportive it will not reflect?

Not Updating Open Sales Orders Value for CreditManagement
Hi Frendz,
This is the first time am implementing creditmanagement in my system tested simple credit limit check working fine.
Now testing Static and Dynamic(Automatic) it also working fine but Its not caliculating open sales orders value either static or dynamic while Creating s.o, settings made clicked on open s.o, i have already created sales orders value of 10th.
EX:- customer balance is 2lacs, credit limit is 1lac while creating s.o it always showing balance 1lac only(Instead of 1lac10th) with open sales order value is 10th.
Let me know Where i have missd settings.

Condition type not coming in sales order
Hi,
we have a condition type Z026. The issue is that it is not set in the order but the condition records exists. The pricing analysis shows that condition reocrd is missing but the fact is the condition record is there. The acess seq is Z026 and there are many tables in the acess sequence.
The first table in the access seq is 906 and the condition record exists but still the system says that the condition record is not found using cond preliminary step (header fields like customer/sales org/div). the cond record is maintained for relevant sales org/dist channel/customer/material. cond preliminary step means that system first looks for the header fields but everything is there.
The condition is active and the conditon is created on 21.7.10 with validitity from 21.7.10 to 31.1.2010 and the pricing date in sales order is 27.7.10. so everyhting is fine but yet the condition is not coming in sales order
what could be the issue.

Now try creating a sales order with 20.07.2010 as the pricing date. It will work. Create another order with 21.07.2010 and it will not work. If so, it is due to the validity date. When you give 21.07.2010 as validity date and there is already another record which was valid on that date, the gap of one day can happen and we have experienced this. There is even an OSS note explaining this concept, which makes sense business-wise.
However you check the scenarios I have mentioned. If the behaviour is as I have mentioned, then you have to change the pricing date of your problamatic sales order to one day earlier, or move the validity date one day earlier.

Exchange rate automatic update in Sale Order
Dear All,
This is regarding Exchange rate automatic update in Sale Order and requirement said below.
Process:
User will created a Export Sale order in the month of November , that time Exchange rate is 50.00, this will
get updated in Sale order Header and Item level.
But user will create billing in the month of December , at that time Exchange rate is 40.00. So in Billing
document Header level exchange rate will be 40.00 (Current rate) and Item level exchange rate will be
50.00.
Requirement:
User requirement is like this the current exchange rate 40.00 to be updated in Sale Order Header and Item
level automatically, because user using Sale order Exchange rate for Z-Report.
As of now user manually updating Exchange rate in Sale Order.
Let me know if there is any solution.

S KumarI dont think this is possible. You should be aware any change in subsequent document would not have any impact in the preceding document which means, whatever exchange rate flowing in billing cannot be updated in sale order. May you can update your zee table by considering the billing document exchange rate by way of exit.

Before updation of excise duty my Vat/cst is coming and working well, but after mainitin chapter id or excise duty my VAT/CST condition is not comming in sale order, Vat codition is JIN7 & CST JIN8. but we Analyse pricing procedure in sales order its not show. here taxprocedure is TAXINJ is ok. conditin type utxj is also maintaind by tax code.

Billing Plan Start Date not copied to Sales order from Service Contract

We are developing a process of Creation of Service Contract and then a order confirmation.
Now based on the Order Confirmation will bill based on the Bill Plan.
The Bill plan start date in contract header is not flowing to Sales Order header while creating with reference.
Then navigating to Header Billing plan and if we input the date the billing plan dates are displayed.
We checked the copy control settings and seems like the date is not copied.Is this a standard behaviour.
If so then do we have any work arounds to achieve the same. Because the contract start date can change before confirmation.
So business wants a sales order confirmation to be created after contract creation and bill periodically as per the Sales order instead of contract.Hi,
