Exist OSDComputerName then Join Domain, if not join workgroup
I add OSDComputerName into Unknown Computer as below
Right Click "Unknown Computers" and choose Properties. Open Collection Variables tab.
Click on the yellow star to add a new variable.
Type OSDComputerName

So in short:
Enable unknown computer support on your Distribution Point
Add OSDComputerName -variable to 'All Unknown Computers' -collection, remove the checkmark of "Do not display this..." and do not add any value to it
Deploy your task sequence to 'All Unknown Computers' -collection
You will be prompted of OSDComputerName -variable during the TS
Note that this only works for Unknown computers, those that don't show up in the console yet.

Suddenly the working CRM is being stopped for some group of users.
I drilled down to the issue and have checked that the users from Domain in which CRM is installed are having CRM access.
But for other domain user having problem to access CRM.
I tried to add a user from a domain which is not of CRM domain then it gives following error.

One Root Domain says A
and there are multiple child domain like B,C,D etc...
B,C and D are all in same level,they are child of A domain.
There are two way transitive trusts between A and all the child Domain.
But there is no trust in between B and C and so on.
Our CRM server is in B domain and B domain's user can access CRM but users of Domain C,D and so on can not access CRM.

I am obtaining data from a camera and getting 10-bit data in Labview. I want to convert the element values to binary and then join adjacent elements to create an array half the size of the original.

well 640×480 is not exactly half of 680×480×2...
- You have to read the specs of your camera. Then you should know how to combine the values.
- When you get 10bit values you probably need I16 datatype to store the values. Unless you also decrease the color resolution to 8 bit you are still stuck to 640×480×2 byte per image...
- To join numbers you should have a look at the numerics->data manipulation function palette

This is an old question but one to which I cannot find the answer!
I have a number of WMV files, and I'd like to join them to make one file. Sounds easy?
I'm happy to convert them, then join so long as quality doesn't deteriorate too much.
I'd like it to be free (or cheap!) [wouldn't we all!] as I don't do it that often.
Any ideas will be enourmously gladly received!
I could use a trial version, so long as it is time-limited trial, but a fully functioning software (i.e. can join more than the first 30 seconds!)

Flip4mac paid version will support the use of MPEG Streamclip which is free to join files. Visual Hub for $23 ( a bit less than Flip4mac) supposedly inputs and even outputs WMV, so at worst you could batch them all to H264 and then use QT Pro to join them.
The only other thing I would wonder about is if they are different sizes, WMV versions or bitrates then whacking them all together might not work so hot - at least with the codec you could convert them all to one common size and bit rate then join them. -

Adobe has made this process much simpler in recent years.
No need to re-install any version earlier than the current version (CS6). All installers (upgrade or full) contain the full program code. The difference between full and upgrade is in the serial number.
All you need do is download (link below) and install CS6, enter the CS6 upgrade serial number then enter the CS5 serial number (even if that too is an upgrade).

There is none. Whatever you do to get rid of the older versions will inevitably do damage to shared components and other stuff of the new versions as well. That's just how it is with this approach... Uninstall the older versions, run the cleaner tool then reinstall CC 2014.

Domain did not find after 2 weeks
Hello everyone
We have both Macs and PCs with 1 Mac Server 10.4.8. The PCs have to join the domain. We created PDC with domain: MEDIER. It was working good. But new PCs could not find MEDIER after 2 weeks. So I have to stop service and restart service, then it will work again. I dont know what problem it is. Hope someone can help. Thanks

( Server Admin-Computers & Services-Windows-Settings-General)At the beginning, we upgraded from OS Server 10.3.9 to Server 10.4.8. it did not work good at all. We decided to install new, fresh installation Server 10.4.8, and then updated to 10.4.10 now. Lookup and forward DNS are working: internal.loc = 192.168.1.3.
I tried to join MEDIER, it said that "the domain could not find domain bla bla bla, contact the administrator...". If I stop and restart the service, it could find the domain: MEDIER, and then PCs could join MEDIER without any problem. The problem is, I have to stop and restart the service after 2 weeks
Is the problem related to DNS or how to stop MEDIER from sleeping?

If the domain has multiple MX(es) record. I.e cardig.com has :
cardig.com mail is handled by 10 mail.cardig.com.

Does Ironport check all the mx(es) first then reject if one of them is not exists?
Or just query it once (first match mx or first low priority mx)?
TIA.I think that the problem is not related to MX records existence or priority.
The error you found occurs when a DNS server does not provide an answer to the query your appliance send when checking the sender.
Suppose that a remote SMTP server connect to your appliance and send a "MAIL FROM: user @ domain.com" SMTP command; at this point your appliance checks whether "domain.com" exists or not and therefore asks for a MX record for "domain.com" to the DNS you configured. The DNS in turn searches for an authoritative DNS for "domain.com" and then sends it a query for the MX records of "domain.com"; if it doesn't get an answer your appliance cannot validate the sender domain and rejects the connection with the error you reported.
In your example this means that the appliance didn't even know that the MX for cardig.com were "mail.cardig.com" and "mail1.cardig.com", but rather that the DNS server didn't get that information from the authoritative DNS server of "cardig.com".

I need some help please. The small business I work for as a contract employee uses Google Doc's, and we input our information into spreadsheets on a daily basis, from our home computers.
My home computer is XP Professional, and I am using Mozilla Firefox 36.0. I know we are using older computer programs, but until we can afford newer computers we have to use what we have.
Prior to today, when I printed off my spreadsheets in Google Doc's I had no problems, however tonight I just starting receiving this error message; An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the file.
I contacted my manager and had her send me a new spreadsheet, Invitation to Edit and input my information into the new spreadsheet.
I then go to my timesheet, and highlight all the rows that I would like to print, then I hit the print key, then I get the box that states, opening my timesheet which is a PDF which is an Adobe Acrobat Document, then I have this message, What should Firefox do with this file? I have it set to open with Adobe Reader (default) do this for files automatically like this.
The file downloads, however I have noticed that Adobe at times has a difficult time opening up right away and then I receive the error message that Adobe isn't responding and I end up closing the program out and restarting my computer.
This error message shows up just before the document begins to print and the document prints off with out any problems.
I even did a repair and that didn't help. My printer is a HP Color LaserJet 4500 and I've had no issues with Adobe prior to tonight.
Do I need to uninstall Adobe Reader & Re-install the program?
I can't send a copy of the file because it contains confidential material.
I've also posted this message on Adobe Acrobat, and have not received a response.
Please advise.

In Google Doc's we are able to highlight/selected portions of a PDF to print.
In Mozilla Fox under Applications, Portable Format Document (PDF) Use Adobe Reader (default).
So when I go to print off my timesheet, after I have highlighted everything, I get this message: I've chosen to open my timesheet which is: Adobe Acrobat Document from https//docs.google.com. What should Firefox do with this file? Open with Adobe Reader (default).
Do this automatically for files like this from now on. I click on the OK and the file downloads as a PDF file in Adobe Reader. On Google Doc's I click on the print key then I am able to open up my printer menu. Its after I click on the print key that I receive this message.
So what do I do please?

This is very confusing to me; Adobe Reader does not have such a functionality (to print highlighted/selected portions of a PDF). Could it be that this is a functionality of Google Docs? Also I have never seen a message "What should Firefox do with this file?". I'm trying to import the sales order using OE_ORDER_PUB.process_order() API. If all my orders has equal no. of lines, I can able to import all the orders at one stoke. But if each order has different no. of lines, I'm unable to import all the orders at single stoke. At first run, certain no. of records are getting processed and remaining records are ending up with error stating *'Header ID does not exist on this record or does not match ID specified on header record. You require a valid header ID if the operation is Create*'. If I re-execute the errored records, its getting processed successfully.
Please help me in getting it resolved.

For SCOM monitoring and user permissions I am trying to add the Action Account from HQ.local domain to some other domains like DOMAIN1.local, TEST1.local and TEST2.local.
(a trust persists between the domains en HQ.local, and DNS Conditional forwarders are configured to correctly resolve the FQDN DNS names).
Problem is, when adding a user from the HQ.local domain to the Active Directory of the DC's SRVPDC01.DOMAIN1.local or SRVPDC01.TEST1.local domain I get an error:
"The Active Directory Domain Controllers Required to find the selected objects in the following domains are not available:
HQ.local
Ensure the Active Directory Domain Controllers are available, and try to select the objects again."
But when I try to do the same thing, so add user1 from HQ.local to the AD on TESTDC01.TEST2.local…. No error!
The other way around, like adding users from DOMAIN1.local, TEST1.local or TEST2.local to the DC01.HQ.local Active directory… also no error!
To make things even more strange, when I validate the trust with HQ.local… and then try to add user1.HQ.local -> No problem, but only for about 1 minute.. After that
it doesn't recognize user1.HQ.local and only displays some CN=S-1-5... ID of the user. Also when trying to add a new user, I receive the error again.
My guess is that the problem has something to do with the same NETBIOS names of the DC's (server 3 and 4). because authenticating users from HQ.local and TEST2.local
doesn't give me errors and all other domains which have same DC names are giving errors.
(for testing purposes I set-up TESTDC01.TEST2.local with a different DC servername to see if the error persists, and it didn't).
Overview of the servers and situation:
- All server 3, 4 and 5 are on separate Vlan's and have no connectivity among each other. But they do have connectivity to the internet, the HQ.local domain and its servers
DC01 and DC02.
- same firewall settings for each vlan
- even Server 4 and server 5 are on the same Vlan for testing purposes, just to make sure the firewall is not the problem.

thing I really need: users from HQ.local having permissions in groups of the other domains… :(

I tried locating these packages, but in vain. I also tried setting the CLASSPATH to many values, still it did not work.
Can anyone, please, help me with this.
Should I be able to see/locate these packages, do I have to download them?

Hi All, We are using Informatica 9.5.1 and Oracle 11g as by metadata DB. Initially our INFA_DOMAIN_REPO password was expired, so we couldn't connect to repository. Then we reset the same password and we restarted infa services also. But when we tried to connect repository we faced "Failed to connect repository" error. When i try to connect to Admin Consol, page was not displayed.
