I'm trying to install CS6 Standard on a fresh iMac with OS X 10.7.4.
When the installer arrives to Illustrator, I get the following error.
I've tried to install only Illustrator, and I've got the same error.

I've downloaded three times and each time the install fails. I am currently running InDesign 6 without a problem on a subscription basis and have LR4 and CS5 as stand alone products already installed also.
I would like to keep MY LR4 and MY CS5 on my machine while running the subscription suite also.
Any ideas on what is causing the installation failure of CS6?

Thank you, but after TWO MORE download attempts (at a considerable cost to download by the way), I still do not have an installed product. Both times the install failed. I don't understand why the downloaded file doesn't at least remain viable if the install fails.

Run the adobe CC Cleaning tool and then reinstall CS6.

Exit Code 15 installing CC apps

Hi,
I have CS6 apps installed under creative cloud on my macbook pro running Mountain Lion 10.8.4
I'm getting exit code 15 installing many of the CC apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro). I've tried repairing file permissions in safe mode (http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/exit-code-15-installing-ccm.html), to no avail. I've also tried the plist thing but it couldn't find one of the files to rename... any ideas please? I've tried disabling the scanner in Sophos too - same message.
On top of this, it appears that since I did the repair file permissions, my GoogleDrive stopped working (not a great loss), and more significantly, Lightroom 5 doesn't seem to be letting me use the "Edit In..." functions.

Installation error when installing CS6 on Mac?

I keep getting an installation error when I try to install CS6 on my Macbook Pro. It says "installer failed to initialize, this could be due to a missing file". It also shows troubleshooting tips. I have tried them and none of them work. I also tried disc repair and multiple other troubleshooting advice from this site. Nothing has worked yet. Help!

Error when installing CS6 on Mac

I just bought a new Macbook Pro along with the Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium. Nothing has been installed on the Mac yet and I tried to install CS6. Each time I came up with the error "The product you are trying to install is not an Adobe Geniune Software and appears to be counterfeit. Please report piracy or contact customer support for assistance." I've registered and gotten a serial number for it. I've also bought CS5 for Windows before and have never run into this problem. I bought the software yesterday at the college bookstore so it "shouldn't" be a counterfeit! Is this a problem with the bookstore or Adobe?

After going through Live Chat, giving proof of purchase and not even being asked for details of the error log before being directed to a page that was in the end zero help, I'm really finding my patience running thin with Adobe's installers & the flimsy "call center" style support.

I installed CS6 on Mac Pro (10.9 software version). I don't see the Adobe PDF printer in the printer/fax section. I can not figure how to create the PDF Printer.

I can not figure how to create a Adobe PDF Printer. Normally when you install the package ( CS6 Standard for Mac Pro) the installer creates the PDF printer automatically. In the System Preferences under the Printer/Fax I don't see the PDF printer. How do you create the PDF printer.

bought cs6 (DVD/CD) design standard for MAC UK version, when trying to install:
We are unable to validate this serial number for Creative Suite 6 Design Standard.
I have registred at ADOBE and its recognized as a number for the package...
I just cant install it.
My system is not in english and have found a solution saying about to check
language while installing but there is not that option on the DVD/CD....

How to install CS6 on Mac Mini?

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium software a few months ago and opted to purchase as a disk, not as a direct download. Now, I own a Mac Mini which does not have an optical drive so I am unable to install it directly from the disk to my new computer. Is there any way to download CS6 directly to my computer from the Adobe site and use my current serial number to validate it on my system? I read something about having to "share a CD or DVD drive" from another computer in order to install from my disk, but I'm not quite sure how to do that. The website I purchased my software from (JourneyEd) is currently down so I can't check there to see if they offer any sort of download for me since I've already purchased the software. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
