Exit for IW21

Hi to all.
In tcode IW21, added a tab(additional tab) with subject long text screen area. This subject long text screen area i s already clled in notification tab. But i want clear the and chage the long text in added tab(additional tab). i have cleared that subject long text when tab = 'additional tab'. But whole long text will be deleted at this time. I want only delete long text and change that text only in additional tab. Can any one tell me how to do that.

How you added new tab(addition tab) i mean by configuration or by coding.
actually what is happening your both long text subject area referring same TEXT ids,text object and Text name.
This you can validate by clicking long text icon.
A new screen will display with name like - "Change long text on PM notification".
Follow menu path-
Goto->header.
Here you will find the all details of long text like text name, text id , text object etc.
so whenever you change one it will automatically reflect in other because indirectly both are referring same text id ,text object and text name.
solution - if you added this new tab through coding then put some logic to assign text object, text id and text name other than which are used by standard SAP.

Getting the value of a dynpro field in an exit for a standard search help.

Hallo Experts!
I need to modify the selected data displayed in standard sap search help: H_T357
What I've done is create an exit for the search help.
Then, when CALLCONTROL-STEP = 'DISP' I use the function module F4UT_PARAMETER_VALUE_GET and I get the value of the parameter 'WERKS' correctly. I think that this function module can only obtain values from the parameters of the search help. Well, here is the problem, I would like to get the values of dynpro fields
'ILOA-STORT' and 'VIQMEL-QMART' (warning type) in transaction IW21.
I prefer not to add these fields as parameters to the standard search help: H_T357.
Any ideas for getting the value of these fields? I've seen functions modules: F4UT_GET_ENVIRONMENT and F4UT_SH_SIC_GET_FIELDS. But I don't know if I can use them for my porpuses.

I think I can help you.
One correction in your post. There will not be TECO. It is NOCO in Notification
This is the answer
There is no need of STTXT for your purpose. In other words you need another field which is a part of VIQMEL table. i.e., PHASE.
Follow these values.
Value '1' for Status OSNO (Outstadning)
Value '2' for Status NOPO (Postponed)
Value '3' for Status NOPR (In Process)
Value '4' for Status NOCO (Completed)
Value '5' for Status DLFL (Deletion Flag)
So your syntax will go like this
IF I_VIQMEL-PHASE = '1' .....
Revert back if any further queries are there.

User Exit for PM Notification

Hi,
I have the requirement to send an auto email to Partners maintained in notification created using tranasaction IW21 and IW22.
Now I got the enhncement for IW22, but for IW21 i.e when creation of Notification I want to know if the partner is maintained by user. But since no database gets updated unless and until saving the notification, I cant be able to determine the partner maintained or not.
Does anybody know if any enhancement available for IW21, to know if partners are maintained before saving notification?

But now I have query on change of notification. I have the same requirement on change of notification as well. I found user exit on saving of notificaiton but that user exit provides old data not the updated one.
So can anybody know the enhancement on PM notification which provides updated data?

User exit for IW28

Hi experts,
I have question regarding user exit for IW28 tcode:-
1) When you goto IW28 and double click on any "Notification" which does not have "Functional location".
2) Then on "Notification" TAB if you put "Functional location" in "Functional loc." field then it automatically changes Cost Center, WBS Element and SettlementOrder fields in "Location" TAB, and these fields will be changed correspondence to the "Functional Location" entered in "Notification" TAB.
But we don't want that. In "Location" TAB we don't want these three fields Cost Center, WBS Element and SettlementOrder to get updated whenever we enter "Functional Location" in "Notification" TAB.
We want "Location" TAB fields should have what ever it had initially and not changed whenever we enter Functional Location in "Notification" TAB.
I am looking for some user-exit to stop this. Please help me for 1) which user exit i should use and 2) how to proceed.

hi mala,
in iw21/iw22 or iw28 when ever you you change the tech object f.loc or eqpt that data in the location tab and some more data like catalogue profile are taken from the f.loc /eqpt master records and when ever you change the tech object this data again pulled fom the respective master record but if you dont want thse fields to be updated then do not maintain in ie02/il02 ... but i suggest you to maintain this data as it would be easy in processing ..

UserExit or Customer Exit for F110 - '*' on Vendor Line Item Payment Run

Background
Currently in F110, when processing for vendor payments, the item text ( or segment text) is only printed out when item text begins with an asterik ' * '. The asterik is meant to indicate that this document/item is posted from external system. You may do a F1 on the text field for detail explanation.
In the event, asterik is not present on the item text even if the text is not blank, it will not be printed at all.
Here are two OSS notes on the asteriks: 312623 and 1292333.
Include: F110SFS0_SATZ_KOMPLETTIEREN

Requirement
User is requesting for item text to be printed at all time, when the text exist, regardless of ' * '.

I have a requirement to fetch the agents in run-time for PO,PR,SCHEDULE AGREEMENT, CONTRACT..
For PO i am using EXIT : - M06E0005
For PR release i am using EXIT :- M06B0001
By using above 2 exits i am getting the agents at run-time...
Same way i need the EXIT for SCHEDULE AGREEMENT and CONTRACT..

Ideally you should have your agent determination logic in workflow itself instead of determinining them in EXIT.
Can you tell me why you are determining agents in exit and how you are making use of it ?
Also let us know how your workflows are getting trigger for all these documents.

GL Account User Exit for all FI transactions

Hi Experts,
We have to create a Ztable and it stores GL bank account principal amount.
Ex: 130121 (SCB Bank) - Rs.10,00,000.00
In SAP , for the same GL account closing balances will available in FS10N of each month.
Ex: 130121 (SCB Bank) for Sep'09 - Rs.8,50,000.00
Now, the requirement is..
I want to put an User Exit for this Bank GL Account . It has to perform a check operation whenever this GL accounts comes for posting on any FI transactions, and
it'll check each time to the GL account principal balances(from Ztable) with the posting amounts and give a popup message regarding about the bank limits exceeded, remainaing amounts and then only they can able to post the transactions.
Ex: If they are posting in F-02 (general ledger posting) the amount showing in GL account which go for my user exit calculations everytime and the same will be for all other FI GL transactions.

Hi..
In the tcode where u want to put the user exit, In the menu select System--> Status and double click on the program.
Then click on search and give the search term as "call-customer function".. and see if there are any available user exits..
Select one, and double click on the 3 number..if '003' ,double click on it,it will take u to the Fm..where u will find an include starting with Z.
Here u can write the code u want.

How to select data from an aggregate in a customer exit for a query?

I have written a virtual key figure customer exit for a query. Earlier the selection was from the cube, where there was severe performance issue. So I have created an aggregate, activated and have loaded the data.
Now when I select that data I find that the Key table is different in development and production. How do I resolve this.

Whats the reason that the two key fields are different.
I had transported the aggregate from development to production. Activated it and filled the data.

Hi Sonu,
The main task is to move the contents of the one internal table to another with some condition.
First sort and delete the duplicate entries from the First Internal table like below :
sort it_tab by material ascending date_modified descending.
delete adjacent duplicates from it_tab.
Then move that Internal table contents to another internal table.
Define another internal table with the same structure as you have first internal table and then
Second Step :
it_itab1 = it_itab.
If you are using seperate Header line and Body then you can do like below :
       it_itab1[] = it_itab[].
This will fix the issue.
