Exit for replacing Calender month with Calday
Hi gurus,
In my query I have 2 key figures, key figure1 will work on Calday value entered by User . Key figure 2 is working on Calmonth value entered by User .Although the calmonth the user will have to enter will be the same one to which the calday would belong .
To avoid the dupilcation and the chances of user entering mismatch day and month in the selection I need to write an exit.Any help will be appreciated

2 days ago my FF3.6.3 started becoming extremely slow/delayed on EVERYTHING/ALL ACTIONS (I have been using 3.6.3 for a few months with NO problems, until 2 days ago). Scrolling going in delayed/slow/jerky 'waves' motion (not smooth & fast), Right-click box very delayed/hangs in coming up, Text typing lagging/intermittent, activity extremely slow/delayed when pointing mouse over anything, changing from tab to tap extremely slow. Bascially EVERYTHING has become sooo slow, delayed, lagging etc. I have tried ALL possible checks (extensions, add-ons, plug-ins, download history, cache, cookies) & viewed nearly ALL the FF help sites. This 3.6 branch is so riddle with flaws which seem never to be fixed. Each fix / update brings with it more problems ... worst of all I see version 4 is already in development but they cannot even get 3.6 right ??? WTF ????

I have a Toshiba Canvio 1TB external hard drive on my Mac. I've used it for 4-5 months with no problems, but now cannot add to it (I use it mostly for photo storage) to it. I can still access information previously added. Ideas?
I cannot find this 300GB "Backup" in the Finder, only in the Storage info when I check "About This Mac".
You are probably using Time Machine to backup your MacBook Pro, right? Then the additional 300 GB could be local Time Machine snapshots. Time Machine will write the hourly backups to the free space on your hard disk, if the backup drive is temporarily not connected. You do not see these local backups in the Finder, and MacOS will delete them, when you make a regular backup to Time Machine, or when you need the space for other data.

I have restarted my computer, but the information remains the same. How do I reclaim the use of the 300GB? Why is it showing up as "Backups" when it used to indicate "Photos"? Are my photos safe on the external drive?
You have tested the library on the external drive, and so your photos are save there.
The local TimeMachine snapshot probably now contains a backup of the moved library. Try, if connecting your Time Machine drive will reduce the size of your local Time Machine snapshots. -
I have Lookout 6.5 running with Windows 7, the process has been running for about 2 months with no problems, but today the Citadel stopped working!
How could this have happened and what can I do to get it running again?Didnt realize there was a response, late getting back to you.
Save your process files outside of the NI progam directory (you should have external backups already right ). THey should not be deleted.
Any customizations to the lookout.ini and lookout.sec file may be lost.

Ink sent for replacement 2 months ago - Never received replacement
HP replaced my printer with a different model within warranty and instructed me to send my new cartridges in for replacement, as well as the cartridges that were in the printer. I did that at the beginning of April, 2010 and here is the email I was sent when it was received:

That was over two months ago and I have not received a replacement or any further communication from HP about the ink. In that time, HP has been unable to install and get this printer working correctly with my system and I've given up on it after hours on the phone with tech support. I will be replacing this printer, but I still need either my cartridges back or a replacement of them. I would prefer cash, since I will not be getting an HP printer, due to the headaches I've encountered with the last two HP printers. It's really a shame, as I have been a loyal HP customer up to this point.

Calculated formula for replacing a comma with a Semicolon in a text field
I need help replacing a comma with a Semicolon in a text field.
I have a field that has names separated by commas.
Ex: Dog, Cat, Bird, Horse, Eagle, Worm, Snake
I would like a calculated column that converts the field into: Dog; Cat; Bird; Horse; Eagle; Worm; Snake
I figured out the first three positions (Dog, Cat, Bird,) but I can't figure out the rest.

Awful broadband for 3-4 months with no resolution ...
Starting roughly 4 months ago our connection began acting terribly during peak hours and ever since we've had an extremely unstable connection and nothing has been done to fix it. Starting daily at anywhere from 12PM to 6PM, our connection will drop from a throughput of 6mbps to something in the region of 100kbps to 800kbps. With a family of five, all of whom utilise the Internet for school, work and leisure, we struggle to have one person able to use the Internet at all.
Over the past few months I've spent a considerable amount of money attempting to fix or rectify anything that might be wrong at our end; we've purchased new routers (currently sitting on a Draytek Vigor2700 but also have one of the newer Linksys models sat in it's box) and completely replaced all cables and filters our side of the faceplate. We've been connected directly into the master socket for the duration and daren't connect any telephones at all for fear it will ruin the little Internet we do receive. I've tried running the connection on a variety of different computers, reformatted computers, and run tests directly from the routers - all with the same result. All in all, we've tried everything possible that we can and it is severely affecting the use of our telephone service as well as our broadband usage. Our exchange is Caxton and is constantly listed as green on the exchange tool at Plusnet.
I've spent a lot of time back and forth with my ISP trying to get a fix for this, often leading to days bordering weeks waiting for responses and/or actions to be taken. The majority of the time we're told that there's nothing wrong with our line and that it's escalated to the "next level", this appears to be a viscous circle. We were at one point told that we were on a suspected hot VP and had to wait 10 days for this to be confirmed with tests and then a further 2-3 days to be switched - needless to say, this did nothing to the issues we are experiencing and if anything, we now have a worse connection.
Since then we have migrated to a different ISP in the hope that this would help any issues we were having (we specifically opted for Plusnet who have their peak priority service), I was also growing tired of the consistently unhelpful responses from our previous ISP, Entanet - constantly being told to ring back in a few hours/days for more information with little to no progress on anything.
We feel pretty helpless at the moment, there's clearly nothing we can do to fix the issues we're having and we aren't having any luck with the attempts we've made with our ISP or BT so far. The only break we seem to have had was in contacting Ian Livingstone whom forwarded our concerns onto our ISP. Although the latest response that I've had from this is that work will be done on our exchange in 3 months time, June 24th. Needless to say I'm extremely disappointed that all of this has gone on for so long with nothing having been done and a fix in 3 months time is completely unacceptable.
I've included some recent speed tests below, these were completed yesterday and today (with identical sub 300 results in the days prior to these).

TL;DR
Peak time and overall throughput is awful and no one appears to know why. It's an ongoing issue and all support tickets we open are escalated over and over to no avail. All of this with a stable sync rate of 8mbps and an IP Profile of 7000.
Has anyone had similar issues and had a fix? If so any advice in what we need to do or say to get a break?

Liamthis certainly looks like many posts on here recently and is normally a problem at the exchange.
However as you are not a BT broadband customer there is nothing that the mods on this forum can do to help. This forum is BT retail and is an ISP just like Plusnet. The only people who are going to be able to help get your exchange sorted is your own ISP

Exit for replacing WBS element characters while copying from Project
Hi All,
While copying a Project from other Project/template in CJ01, we are getting only first 10 letters of a WBS element are getting replaced.
The requirement is to have replacement of letters even after 10th character in WBS element.
The SAP Note 502322 suggests to have user specific (custom) replacement logic in the user exit CNEX0033.
Anyone has worked around such requirements?? If so can you share it,,,?????

While creating a Project in CJ01 by giving a template, the new Project will get created with all WBS elements from the template Project.
In standard system, the WBS Element which has more than 10 characters will get copied till 10th character only.
Now we need to work on user exit CNEX0033, so that entire WBS element name should get copied in the new Project.
Anyone has worked on such requirement???
When i create new Project in CJ01, the exit CNEXX0033 will trigger..
If so can you suggest me how to move further??

Hi, all I am new to Applescript and the support community. I am working on developing a script that takes a folder and replaces its original music content with aliases from an organized Library. Let me explain a little better.. I have a list of project folders that all contain folders and original music. My company uses iTunes to store and organize their music. Once iTunes has imported the music and has made a copy of the original file and organizes it accordingly we create an alias within the iTunes Library and manually drag and drop the aliases into our Project folders. Basically I need the revers of this process. The objective is to save space and continue to let iTunes organize and copy files for us. I already have made a script that generates aliases into the subfolders of iTunes organized Library withour replacing the file that iTunes created. I also made a script that takes the itunes library and dumps all the aliases into a designated folder. I thought this may be helpful for drawing aliases to files that are in our project folder but seem to be stuck.
I was thinking maybe if I took my iTunes and made all the aliases all into one folder to draw aliases from would make it easier. I'm not sure but it seems like there should be some easy way of doing this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Also Script above is for reverting aliases into original files as posted by Eatalay of this forum.

No phone line for nearly a month with no human con...
Our home phone line went dead on 23rd December and whilst I will accept that we've had Christmas and some bad weather (although not particularly bad in this area) we still don't have a phone line. We have spent many hours talking to call centres whose only response has been "Someone will call you back" and no on human ever does.
We have been led to believe that this is a fault which is affecting many people yet none of our neighbours has any problems whatsoever so we feel like we've been 'spun a line' to get rid of us.
I am sure BT will hide behind Outreach saying that they are the company who repair faults but all we want is an explanation rather than a text every few days saying we need more time. WHY do you you need more time is what we want to know.

Exit for changing Pricing Conditions with change in Ship to party

In transaction VA01/ VA02 the pricing conditions are getting calculated with respect to the Sold-to-party no.. Instead I wanted it to get calculated with respect to the Ship-to-party. Please guide me with an Exit that i can use, or any other way of solving this.

I am creating a sales order with transaction VA01 using a Sold-to-party say 1 and a Ship-to-party 2. While saving the order the tax calculations (if it is interstate - cst and intrastate - vat) are happening with respect to the Sold-to-party.
But I want it to happen with respect to the Ship-to-party. Is there anyway of changing this tax calculations in the pricing condition to take place with respect to my Ship-to-party. -

Best practice for replacing a package with equivalent, lots of deps
I was having CPU issues, posted about a bit back in another thread, which brought up the fact that it might have been related to the nvidia version at that time (325.15). As a result, I switched to nvidia-beta and nvidia-utils-beta from AUR.
Nvidia from extra is now up to 331.20, and I was thinking of switching back so that I wouldn't always be surprised after a kernel update that no screens were found (AUR packages don't tend to flag updates just because linux updated). Not a big deal, as I just have to re-build the AUR package and I'm set. Anyway, I was going to switch back to the standard nvidia packages, but am not sure what to do about the dependencies on libgl, provided by nvidia-libgl-beta (a split-package provided by nvidia-utils-beta):

As you might imagine, I'd prefer not to remove all of those packages just to switch my libgl providing package and then re-install.
In digging around, I found this entry on downgrading packages without respecting dependencies.
Is that the best method for doing what I describe above as well? Would I do something like `pacman -Rd nvidia-utils-beta` (without X running) and then install the packages from extra?It should be similar to switching to nouveau driver https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Nouveau
