Exited during update. Will not reinstall to iTunes version 10.6
I accidentally stopped the update that was running from the Task Manager. I then tried to run it again. It starts like regular but then I get this message.
iTunes Installer Completed
The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured.
Errors occured during installation. Your system has not been modified.
Please run the installer gain, or click Finish to exit.
I ran it several times and I kept getting the same message.
iTunes 10.6.3 will not update so that I can sync my iphone.
Could you walk us through what happens (when you try to update your itunes) in some more detail, please?

MacBook crashed during update - will not boot
My wife was using iTunes and was prompted to do seven updates on our MacBook. She was told to hold in the power button during the update, and the machine reset.
Now the machine will not boot and just accesses the CD/DVD drive over and over.
Does anyone here have any ideas?Alright, I was able to fix it.
I had to download the Firmware Restoration image for Intel based MacBooks onto my Windows XP machine. I then used a demo of the program 'UltraISO' to burn the .dmg image.
The macbook was turned on, the disc inserted. Then the macbook was powered off, and powered back on. This time I held in the power button until the long tone and gray screen appeared.
The folks at the Apple Store had no other suggestion other than paying $183 for AppleCare. They need to spend less time telling customers how reliable Macs are and a little more time burning copies of this restoration disc! -

IPad 3 bricked after IOS update, will not restore through iTunes
Hi,
I have an iPad 3 wifi/3g model that bricked after an IOS update 7.0.6. The update failed at about 70% (Apple Logo with progress line on screen) and rebooted into recovery mode. I've tried doing a restore through iTunes mulitple times and even looked at jailbreaking it but no luck. It always fails during the update and I have tried muliple computers (Windows and Mac) Different networks (Home/Work) but the issue is still there.
The device won't go into DFU mode and in itunes it shows the serial number as n/a like the iPad has no software on it at all. I've tried everything I can thing of and I've had plenty of experiences recoverying and restoring IOS devices in the past. Tinyumberlla and other utils won't get it out of recovery mode and now iTunes won't even try to load the firmware back on the device, it just fails after extracting software.
I'm thinking its now a hardware issue, does anyone have another solution to try?FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -
App Updates Will Not Sync From iTunes To iPhone
I am having an issue with App Updates since I upgraded to iOS8.
I prefer to update my Apps through iTunes on my iMac & then \sync them over to my iPhone 5s.
However, I am having issues with this now. After have downloaded the updates with iTunes I sync them to my iPhone and they show that they are being copied over to my iPhone. However, on my iPhone in the App Store, it shows that the apps did not sync and still need updating. So I have to then download them on my iPhone all over again.
I have tried restating the phone. deleting the apps and starting again. Nothing works. any ideas?Thank you very much, that worked. I learned something as I never tryied to right click on my phone in Itunes before.
Thanks again. -
New iPod Updater will not download in iTunes 7.0
When I plug in my iPod it asks me if I want to Download and Install the new iPod Updater for iTunes 7.0, but when I click yes it tells me that I am not connected to the internet when I clearly am. Everything else works fine including the iTunes Store so I don't know why it wont update the updater. If someone could help with this it would be great, it's been driving me crazy!
I found the solution on my own here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304468

My new iPad will not sync with itunes. itunes is updated to latest version. Do I need to uninstall itunes and reinstall?
That could be a solution. Are you getting any error messages or error codes? Is the iPad recognized in iTunes? Does anything happen at all when you try to Sync? Can you provide more details?
You can try a very simple first step, quit iTunes, reboot your PC and restart the iPad. -

Before you reinstall the Apple software, also remove iCloud vi Control Panel Remove programs. The reinstall the Apple programs
