Exiting RS_TREE_LIST_DISPLAY to Another LIST-PROCESSING Format

Hi Experts,
I'd like to ask if you have any idea how to exit from the callback_user_command of the FM RS_TREE_LIST_DISPLAY, to call another list-display format?
Thanks for suggesting!

    Hi everyone
I have an application that Im trying to test.
Unfortunately one of these tests requires me to spawn
another java process after a System.exit(0); has
executed. Since this exits the VM its proving very
difficult. Does anyone know of a way to restart the VM
after the System.exit has run?Exactly what do you want to do?
If the application is supposed to only have one exit point then add a security manager and disallow all the other exit points. Then you can use Runtime.exec() to start the second application just before the real exit point.
However note that if there are other calls to System.exit in the application then it is very likely that this will cause some unexpected failures in terms of security exceptions.
You could also use Runtime.addShutdownHook() which would run your second app. The hook would be called as the application exits.
You might want to consider what happens if someone just kills the application (say with 'kill -9' or the windows task manager.) In either of those cases there is nothing that you can do in java to make that second application run.
You might also want to consider why you are doing this in the first place. As suggested a script solution is probably a better solution.

  • What are the User Exits for Sales Order creation process?

    Hi,
what are the User Exits for Sales Order creation process? how can I find them?
    thanks in advance,

    Please check this info:
User Exits In Sales Document Processing
This IMG step describes additional installation-specific processing in sales document processing. In particular, the required INCLUDES and user exits are described.
    Involved program components
System modifications for sales document processing affect different areas. Depending on the modification, you make the changes in the program components provided:
    MV45ATZZ
For entering metadata for sales document processing. User-specific metadata must start with "ZZ".
    MV45AOZZ
For entering additional installation-specific modules for sales document processing which are called up by the screen and run under PBO (Process Before Output) prior to output of the screen. The modules must start with "ZZ".
    MV45AIZZ
For entering additional installation-specific modules for sales document processing. These are called up by the screen and run under PAI (Process After Input) after data input (for example, data validation). The modules must start with "ZZ".
    MV45AFZZ and MV45EFZ1
For entering installation-specific FORM routines and for using user exits, which may be required and can be used if necessary. These program components are called up by the modules in MV45AOZZ or MV45AIZZ.
User exits in the program MV45AFZZ
The user exits which you can use for modifications in sales document processing are listed below.
    USEREXIT_DELETE_DOCUMENT
This user exit can be used for deleting data which was stored in a separate table during sales document creation, for example, if the sales document is deleted.
For example, if an additional table is filled with the name of the person in charge (ERNAM) during order entry, this data can also be deleted after the sales order has been deleted.
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine BELEG_LOESCHEN shortly before the routine BELEG_SICHERN.
    USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION
This user exit can be used to modify the attributes of the screen fields.
To do this, the screen fields are allocated to so-called modification groups 1 - 4 and can be edited together during a modification in ABAP. If a field has no field name, it cannot be allocated to a group.
The usage of the field groups (modification group 1-4) is as follows:
Modification group 1: Automatic modification with transaction MFAW
Modification group 2: It contains 'LOO' for step loop fields
Modification group 3: For modifications which depend on check tables or on other fixed information
Modification group 4: is not used
The FORM routine is called up for every field of a screen. If you require changes to be made, you must make them in this user exit.
This FORM routine is called up by the module FELDAUSWAHL.
See the Screen Painter manual for further information on structuring the interface.
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK
Use this user exit to assign values to new fields at sales document header level. It is described in the section "Transfer of the customer master fields into the sales document".
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine VBAK_FUELLEN.
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP
Use this user exit to assign values to new fields at sales document item level. It is described in the section "Copy customer master fields into the sales document".
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine VBAP_FUELLEN.
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP
Use this user exit to assign values to new fields at the level of the sales document schedule lines.
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine VBEP_FUELLEN.
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBKD
Use this user exit to assign values to new fields for business data of the sales document. It is described in the section "Copy customer master fields into sales document".
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine VBKD_FUELLEN.
    USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE
Use this user exit to define the number ranges for internal document number assignment depending on the required fields. For example, if you want to define the number range depending on the sales organization (VKORG) or on the selling company (VKBUR), use this user exit.
The user exit is called up in the FORM routine BELEG_SICHERN.
    USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK
Use this user exit if you want to include and assign a value to an additional header field in the communication structure KOMK taken as a basis for pricing.
    USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP
Use this user exit if you want to include or assign a value to an additional item field in the communication structure KOMP taken as a basis for pricing.
    USEREXIT_READ_DOCUMENT
You use this user exit if further additional tables are to be read when importing TA01 or TA02.
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine BELEG_LESEN.
    USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT
Use this user exit to fill user-specific statistics update tables.
The user exit is called up by the FORM routine BELEG-SICHERN before the COMMIT command.
    Note
If a standard field is changed, the field r185d-dataloss is set to X. The system queries this indicator at the beginning of the safety routine. This is why this indicator must also be set during the maintenance of user-specific tables that are also to be saved.
    USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
Use this user exit to make certain changes or checks immediately before saving a document. It is the last possibility for changing or checking a document before posting.
The user exit is carried out at the beginning of the FORM routine BELEG_SICHERN.
User exits in the program MV45AFZA
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMKD

    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMPD
Use this user exit to include or assign values to additional item fields in the communication structure KOMPD taken as a basis for the material determination. This is described in detail in the section "New fields for material determination".
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMKG
Use this user exit to include or assign values to additional fields in the communication structure KOMKG taken as a basis for material determination and material listing. This is described in detail in the section "New fields for listing/exclusion".
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMPG
Use this user exit to include or assign values to additional fields in the communication structure KOMPG taken as a basis for material determination and material listung. This is described in detail in the section "New fields for listing/exclusion".
    USEREXIT_REFRESH_DOCUMENT
With this user exit, you can reset certain customer-specific fields as soon as processing of a sales document is finished and before the following document is edited.
For example, if the credit limit of the sold-to party is read during document processing, in each case it must be reset again before processing the next document so that the credit limit is not used for the sold-to party of the following document.
The user exit is executed when a document is saved if you leave the processing of a document with F3 or F15.
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine BELEG_INITIALISIEREN.
    User-Exits in program MV45AFZB

    User exits in the screens
Additional header data is on screen SAPMV45A 0309, additional item data on screen SAPMV45A 0459. These screens contain the Include screens SAPMV45A 8309 or SAPMV45A 8459 as user exits.
Fields which are also to be included in the sales document for a specific installation should be included on the Include screens for maintaining. If an application-specific check module is needed for the fields, this can be included in the Include MV45AIZZ. The module is called up in the processing logic of the Include screens.
For field transports, you do not have to make changes or adjustments.
    Example
A new field, VBAK-ZZKUN, should be included in table VBAK.
If the check is defined via the Dictionary (fixed values or check table) the field must be included with the fullscreen editor in the Include screen SAPMV45A 8309. In this case, no change has to be made to the processing logic.
    User Exits in Program MV45AFZ4

  • Print List Processing Report to PDF

    hi all,
i've read many forums about convert info into PDF. but i'm very new to understand those forums.
In case I want to print list processing report as PDF (not hard copy thru printer). First, user types the data on the screen then click on 'Execute' button, then the system shows the result on screen. After that user asks system for print the screen on menu bar by List=>Print.
So please advise me how to get the spool id, then export as pdf. As my opinion, i may use CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF and GUI_DOWNLOAD. But where is the place I should put the methods on?

  • Leave list processing

    hi to all sdn people
i know the functionality of the leave list processing
and leave to list processing . but tell how to use them in the screen programs ?pls give
    one sample screen program .

    LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING
    Basic form 5
    LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING.
    Addition:
... AND RETURN TO SCREEN scr.
    Effect
Switches from "dialog processing" (module pool, screens) of the current transaction to "list processing". You can then use all the usual list layout commands (WRITE, SKIP, ...).
After leaving the current screen, the list formatted in this way is displayed implicitly or explicitly by LEAVE SCREEN. Here, all list programming options are possible, e.g. line selection, F keys, windows.
LEAVE LIST-PROCESSING continues with "Processing Before Output" (PBO) of the screen which controls the list processing.
    Note
After switching to list processing mode with SET PF-STATUS ..., you are recommended to define a GUI (Graphical User Interface) of type List or List in dialog box.
Please consult Data Area and Modularization Unit Organization documentation as well.
    Addition
... AND RETURN TO SCREEN scr.
    Effect
LEAVE LIST-PROCESSING continues with "Processing Before Output" (PBO) of the screen scr.
    Note
Using LEAVE LIST-PROCESSING to leave list processing explicitly is only necessary in exceptional cases; normally, the standard F keys ( F3=Back and F15=Exit) are sufficient.
    Refer the following code:
    REPORT demo_leave_to_list_processing .
    TABLES demo_conn.

  • How to Scan a Paper Doc & Convert It with OCR to a Word Processing Format

In an effort to save others with a similar need some time, I am posting a simple method of using he iPhone to scan a document and convert it, using optical character resolution, to an editable word processing format, usable on computers or iPhones and Android smartphones - all with free apps.  I found no free one-stop-shopping apps that did the job themselves.
To begin, use the DocScan app to scan the paper document. this results in an Acrobat file (pdf).  If the document is already in pdf form, move on to the next step.
Next, upload the pdf file to your Google Drive workspace, which automatically puts it through an OCR conversion, Google Drive automatically recognizes the text within pdf files uploaded from iPhones.
Then open the file within Google Drive, select Open In and choose the Able2Extract app.
Select the pdf file in Able2Extract and convert it to an MS Word (docx) file, which can be opened by Pages, Word or other word processing programs.  It can also be converted to a spreadsheet or presentation MS Office format.
Finally, transfer the new docx file to the Documents app, the Dropbox app or another storage app, from which a word processing program can access it for editing.
Many apps, including Able2Extract, convert all types of files into pdf format when going the reverse direction.

    Good day Larry,
Are you referring to CreatePDF's ability to export existing PDF files to Word?  I want to confirm as Adobe CreatePDF doesn't have any sort of interface with scanners.
Let me know a bit more about how you're creating your PDF files and then how you're using the CreatePDF service and I may be able to answer your question (or at least try!)
    Kind regards,
    David

  • Update another list when list is updated

What do you recommend to update another list when the current list is updated.
I have a workflow which updates a Reports list. I also have a favorites list which has 4-5 columns which are in the reports list and I would like to update those values when the reports list is updated. I use a workflow to update the reports list.
    Thanks

    Hi CoutinhoR,
You could use your existing workflow to update the favourites list (after it has updated the reports list).
Another way, would be creating an event receiver that updates the favourites list whenever an item in the reports list is added, modified or deleted.
It depends on the functionality you need to achieve. If you are just incrementing the value of the columns for a single item in the favourites list (when a report is updated), then using the existing workflow would probably work best.

sqlldr is an application residing in the OS. procedure runs in the dbms engine.
you cannot run an os command directly from a procedure or a function or a package .
If you want to do so you need to use either a daemon process created by a PRO*C program
or a JAVA stored procedure to do so.
just refer to previous question forums, you can find the solution. Somebody has already given a solution using
java to run an OS command . check it out

  • Return to List Processing From Business Object Method CTREQUEST.Display

I have a simple program which displays selected TRKORR (Transport/Correction) numbers in a list on the screen. I want to be able to double click on the number and inspect the contents of these items.
The program is not pretty - its for my use only.
Anyway, the code below is tucked at the end of my program, and it works fine - double clicking will display the request. .
    FORM SHOWCTS  USING  P_REQ.
      DATA : ThisReq      TYPE SWC_OBJECT.
      DATA : ReqObjectKey Like SWOTOBJID-OBJKEY .
      SWC_CONTAINER        REQCONTAINER.
      SWC_CREATE_CONTAINER REQCONTAINER.
      move p_req to ReqObjectKey .
      SWC_CREATE_OBJECT ThisReq 'CTREQUEST' ReqObjectKey .
      SWC_CALL_METHOD   ThisReq 'Display'   ReqContainer .
    ENDFORM.
    AT LINE-SELECTION .
      data l_req type TRKORR .
      move sy-lisel+29(20) to l_req . CONDENSE l_req NO-GAPS .
      perform showcts using l_req .
The problem is, when I exit from the CT Request, the program EXITs  . The desired behavior would be to return to my list processing.
How can I return to my list upon exiting the Request display?
    Thanks...

    Hi,
Try command LEAVE TO SCREEN 0 instead of EXIT.
    Thanks.

  • ALV grid to list processing and GUI status

    Hi,
In a customized program the report output is in ALV grid which is interactive. On selecting a record and pressing SAVE button a BAPI runs in background. In order to display BAPI error message the leave to list-processing has been used. But GUI status is not working in list display and can not exit or go back from here to main selection screen.
when try to see program name & screen no it displays
    Program - SAPLKKBL
    Menu - STANDARD_FULLSCREEN
pls advise how to go back from list to main screen or ALV output.
    thanks
    anya

    Hi Anya,
As per my understanding, this is your prog flow:
    *Main ALV Display.
    *Select record.
    *Click on Button SAVE.
    *Handle Event.
*Call BAPI for processing based on selection.
Now at this point why dont you colect the error messages from the BAPI, and display it in a POP-UP ALV display?
You need not e very much worried about the PF status and all. Also this POP-UP will be placed on the MAIN ALV. So when you close the POP-UP it will come back to the main ALV.
By this when you press the BACK button of the main ALV, it will take you back to the selection scree.
Please let me know if i am missing something.

  • Command leave to list processing

    Dear All,
I have an executable program (execute via SE38) that need to call an additional screen for input before the actual output on sapscript.
It is like this, user key in the input into selection screen, then program will extract data and display them into a pop up window. User will further select data from the pop up, and then sapcript will be printed out eventually.
I'm now stuck at the pop up window. I created a new screen 9000 with screen type "Modal dialog box" and coding as follow:
    Executable program:
    CALL SCREEN 9000 STARTING AT 40 20
                       ENDING   AT 150 50.
    Flow Logic:
    PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
    MODULE STATUS_9000.
    PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
    MODULE USER_COMMAND_9000.
    Coding:
    MODULE STATUS_9000 OUTPUT.
      SUPPRESS DIALOG.
LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING AND RETURN TO SCREEN 9000.
      SET PF-STATUS 'STATUS_9000'.
      LOOP AT TAB INTO WA_TAB.
        WRITE:/1 WA_TAB-TYPE.
      ENDLOOP.
    ENDMODULE.                 " STATUS_9000  OUTPUT
    MODULE USER_COMMAND_9000 INPUT.
      OK_CODE = SY-UCOMM.
      CASE OK_CODE.
        WHEN 'OK'.
    ********  trigger output to sapscript
        WHEN 'CANCEL'.
          SET SCREEN 0.
          LEAVE SCREEN.
      ENDCASE.
    ENDMODULE.                 " USER_COMMAND_9000  INPUT
With the above code, output is successfully displayed on screen 9000 with command "Leave to list-processing". But after the list displayed, those buttons that defined in Status_9000 are not working at all in screen 9000. There is no response from any buttons i clicked, even i tried in debugging mode it didn't go in debugger as well.
Please comment which part i miss. Thanks.

    Hi,
I think the problem is with your statement in the PBO module.
Why not try and delete this part 'AND RETURN TO SCREEN 9000'.  Over here, if you want to use this addition RETURN TO SCREEN, then screen number should be other than your modal list screen. Currently you have changed the modal screen to behave as list, but at the same time, you want it to behave as the normal screen, after you come back from the list.
If you really need that, then please create another screen, say 9100, and change it to AND RETURN TO SCREEN 9100, instead of AND RETURN TO SCREEN 9000.

  • Call an other dynpro after list-process. with a button in the functionmenu

    Hi expert-forum-members
in my report I start a DynPro after the starting-point "start-of-selection":
    START-OF-SELECTION.
    CALL SCREEN 100.
In the screen 100, I want to show a simple list like that:
    module pbo_0100 output.
      SET PF-STATUS 'SCREEN_100'.
LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING AND RETURN TO SCREEN 0.
      PERFORM lief_lfa1.
      PERFORM kunden_kna1.
      LEAVE SCREEN.
    endmodule.
In the "PF-STATUS" I defined a button which should call another dynpro with a ALV-List. But when I am debugging the "list-processing" screen I could not catch any sy-ucomm event?!?
If I comment the two commands ("LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING AND RETURN TO SCREEN 0.","LEAVE SCREEN.  LEAVE SCREEN.") out, then the buttonfunction is correct.
So how can I use a button by using the "LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING " command?
    Regards,
    Steffen

    Hi Steffen,
      The logic:
LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING AND RETURN TO SCREEN 0.
      PERFORM lief_lfa1.
      PERFORM kunden_kna1.
      LEAVE SCREEN.
shold be inside a PAI module an not PBO module.
    pai.
    module user_command_0100.
    in program:
    module user_comman_0100.
    case sy-ucomm.
    when '<Fcode for the button>'.
LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING AND RETURN TO SCREEN 0.
      PERFORM lief_lfa1.
      PERFORM kunden_kna1.
      LEAVE SCREEN.
    endcase.
    endmodule.

What I want now is just to open that file with the editor that has already run.Don't see why sockets aren't appropriate there. Why did you dismiss them?Because he wants a single pre-finished method call answer, maybe? ;-)Teh Codez!! Indeed. It's pretty obvious that there's an entire subsection of forum users who automatically dismiss any reply which doesn't include code. • Spawning another sub-process

    All
A quick workflow question: How do I spawn another child/sub-process from another process of the same item type ?
    Imagine this scenario:
    ItemType : ABC
    Process : EFG
    Start --> Function A ---> Process HIJ ---> Function C ---> End
    Process : HIJ
    Start --> Function D ---> Notify X ---[Timeout]--> Notify Y ---> Re-assign
One of the options/buttons within the Notify Y will be to start another process EFG of item type ABC.
Do I simply drag and drop the Process EFG process icon into the diagram of Process HIJ and link it as an outcome of Notify Y ?
Or is there another way of doing it ?
    Any helps is appreciated ?
    Thanks

  • How to check if a list contains items from another list

    Hi all,
I am trying to check whether a text list contains items form
another list and then do something. I tried:
tlist contains text phrases (e.g., test1,test2,test3)
    phrases = ["test1","test2"]
    n = phrases.count()
    tList.getPos(phrases.item[n])
alert("should not be inluded in the list")
But it is not working any ideas why?

myPhrase is the loop index, but instead of a numerical index
(like n in your sample), myPhrase is set equal to each item in the
phrases list, first item to last. So, on the first iteration
myPhrase = “test1”, on the second iteration myPhrase =
“test2”. The loop automatically exits when the end of
the list is reached. The Director help docs have more information
    on this syntax under “repeat”
BTW: if you're more comfortable using a numerical index, the
syntax for getting at the n-th item in a list is list[n], or in
    your sample phrases[n]
