Exp cmd doesnt work

Question

Hi Guru's,
I'm experiencing a problem in export cmd in oracle 9i. After entering the username and password the export cmd window closes automatically.
Can u able to help me to sort out the problem behind that or pls advice me what to do ????????

Since it is trying to use the BEQ adapter, it indicates you did not specify a tns alias. In other words, you did something like this:
c:> exp scott/tigerInstead of
c:> exp scott/tiger@orclWith a bequeath connection, it is required that
1) you be on the same box as the database, and
2) you have ORACLE_SID properly set
