Expand RAM using ExpressCard?

I LOVE my mac book pro. I am sorry to see others are having problems.
I have 2 GB Ram in the machine. I just got an ExpressCard/34 memory card reader from Atech. I can buy a 4 GB Memory Stick from Sony that will fit the ExpressCard/34 memory card reader.
Some tech Guru out there, tell me how to do this: How do I tell the OS to use the ExpressCard slot for virtual memory instead of the hard disk? Seems to me that will provide a lot of extra processing speed when working with RAW photos and other RAM intensive tasks.

If your information is correct, then I was indeed correct in saying that the write speed of flash memory is slower than than the average hard drive. 18 Mbs < 29 Mbs, right?
Also, you wrote Mbs when I think you must have meant MBs. The convention is: b=bits and B=Bytes. Last time I checked, a 7200 RPM laptop hard drive has a write transfer rate of about 40 MB/s. In contrast, the Sony memory stick, which was the subject of the original message, has a write speed of about 1 MB/s.
So, I'm sticking to my contention that the write transfer rate of flash memory is substantially less than that of the modern laptop hard drive. Do you have a link to a flash memory device that has a write speed on the order of 40 MB/s? I'd be happy to eat crow if you could show me such a device.
