Expand
Somehow I have lost the ability to expand and collapse folders in list view. Other drives on this computer are not affected. The triangles have disappeared. Can someone tell me how to get them back?

Expand Text Box? "Advanced" text options not hidden?
The title text box/editor is very small in the 10.2 update. It's just big enough for 2 lines of text. I find it fairly inconvenient to have it so small (I am referring to the text box in the inspector). I'm guessing there is no way to expand this to fit more lines of text in, but if anyone knows how that'd be sweet! Otherwise I'm just crossing my fingers it gets a quick update since I'm using it every day for work.
Also, the "advanced" tab always being collapsed in the basic text editing tools is annoying, too. I use this every time I make a title(which I'm making two videos a day, so it's a little more tedious now after the update). Personally, for a professional program I would consider the options in the "advanced" section to actually be basic and fairly necessary...based on how I use it, so maybe I'm not a normal case.
Nothing is broken, just less convenient...

I'm putting together a photo book of old photos that I have scanned and need to include a lot of annotations. The formal theme I have been using doesn't seem to allow additional text to be added once you fill the text box frame. Is there any way to expand on this or maybe a better theme to use?
In the book layout viewer there will be two buttons next to each other in the upper left corner if you hover your mouse over the one will say edit content, the other edit layout. Don't forget to switch back when you are done.

Report Performance / Grouptree - Show GroupTree Expanded

I'm using Visual Studio / C# for an ASP.net app.
Requirements are to display customer-created reports placed by admin in virtual IIS directory. This is working fine.
However, we are experiencing some performance problems on a certain report written against a stored procedure. When I run the stored procedure interactively, it has subsecond response. Interactive design of report with Crystal 10 displays refresh very quickly. But web page is slow. Every click on grouptree causes the report to regenerate.
Here are my questions
1. For performance , Should I simply store data with report, and refresh data upon loading the reportdocument
2. Are there other options that I can set that do not cause Crystal to refresh upon every keypress/search/ etc.
3. Can I cause crViewer to display the Group tree as expanded (simliar to asp:treeview1.expandall()

But the best I could do for my performance / postback issue was to simply use exportOptions to file pdf, excel..

I need to purchase a divice to expand my Wi-fi network. I was looking at the AirPort Extreme, but a friend has a brand new Time Capsule for sale. So, for the same price of the AirPort Extreme, I´m getting the Time Capsule.

Yes. The important thing to remember is that the "extending" Time Capsule must be located where it can receive a strong wireless signal from your "main" Time Capsule. -
Is there a way to expand all drop-down text in a single topic in the editor?
I'm going through all the topics in a large RH10 project manually checking various things. A lot of topics contain drop-down text and to view the contents, I'm having to right click on each one and select 'Drop-down text properties'. Which is taking FOREVER. So:
a) is there an option to expand all drop-down text in the current topic? I'm sure I remember this from a previous version but can't find it now.
b) is there a keyboard shortcut to open drop-down text?

In iCal and Notifications on a notebook, is it possible to expand the notes window to make it easier to read and write notes? In the past, I have used Outlook calendar and tasks and I was able to expand the windows which allowed me to put a great amount of details into either the notes section in events and tasks. It would be great to be able to do this in iCal and Notifications as well. I am using a Macbook Pro with OS X 10.8. Thank you very much for assistance with this.

Expanding the drives into a raid 5 array?
I am going to purchase a powermac soon, but I want to understand raid arrays a bit better. I am an HD video editor, and am getting into large files sizes...Red, XDCam, 2K etc. I can buy any 4TB raid array with a card, or I read that I can add 3 extra 1TB hard drives inside the mac pro and stripe them raid 5? I know 3 drives aren't the best for redundancy, but will it work? Will I also need Apple's raid controller for this.
As a side not, someone said use all 4 drives as an array, but the OS has to operate on its own drive unless there is something I don't know.

If you are thinking of using the 2009 Mac Pro internal hard disk sleds to create a RAID 5 you would need a $699 Mac Pro RAID Card. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MA849Z/B
Three HDs can be used in a RAID 5, but as one disk is used for parity data this only leaves you with the volume size of two HDs and performance = to two hard disks in RAID 0. This is not an option I would select. The other downside to this configuration is the Mac Pro RAID Card does NOT support Boot Camp.

If you want RAID 5, Boot Camp and the ability to use the internal bays for a Mac OS X system an external RAID 5 is a good choice. The HighPoint RR 2314 and the SeriTek/5PM provide a nice solution at a reasonable price.

Unable to expand volume on array
I've got a Mac Pro (Early 2008, 8x2.8Ghz, 6GB memory) with a Highpoint RocketRaid 3522 card in it. I started out with a raid 5 array of 3 1TB WD GreenPower drives in a SuperMicro CSE-M35T-1B sata cage. Partitioned it as GUID HFS+ (1.8TB) and it works great.
However, I added two more disks and expanded the raid array to a 2.7TB Raid 6 array. Mac OS sees that I have a 2.7TB drive with a 1.8TB partition on it, but when I try to expand the partition I get the error "MediaKit reports partition (map) too small".
When I try to resize it on the command line using diskutil it complains that the volume size is too large. running "diskutil resizeVolume /dev/disk4s2 limits" tells me I can only expand the volume up to 2TB. But even running "diskutil resizeVolume /dev/disk4s2 1.9TB" fails
Apple states that the maximum volume size is 8 Exabytes as of 10.4 and later and i'm running 10.5.2.
Any suggestions? I'm trying to avoid having to back up all the data and reformatting the drive. I plan to eventually expand the array to a full 8 1TB drives, i.e. 5.4TB and backup up 1.5TB of data is rough - but backing up more than that is nearly impossible.
And yes, I do know that RAID is not a substitute for backing up. I'm comfortable with the level of protection that RAID 6 gives me given the files that I store on this drive.

Creating Expandable fields in Abobe Acrobat 9.0 professional
Hello,
I am in the process of converting a standard PDF file to a interactive one. The problem I am having is that some of the fields need to be expandable to accommodate needs of the application. I am using Adobe Acrobat 9.0 to convert the standard form into a PDF file to PDF interactive file.
I have looked in Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Professional but I have not been able to find any documentation on how to expand the fields in the 9.0 Professional version.
Can you tell me if the LiveCycle Designer has the ability to expand fields and if so how can I set up the document to create the expanded fields. I have reviewed the help documents but it not very clear as to how to go about accomplishing this task.
I have attache the form that I like to expand.
I would really appreciate some guidance in this area

First you have to make your field multiline

But you shaould remember tha field will be expanded only after you type smth in it and lost focus.

I am currently using the Online data extraction via sap for Nakisa Integration with SAP Landscape.
I have completed the configuration of Nakisa with the help of configuration guide and administrator guide - After completing administrator steps the org chart is visible - When i navigate to the org structure i can see the org unit under the org structure root that i configured as an administrator in the general settings section.
When i click the + sign ie on expand this branch i am not able to see all teh org units under the displayed branch.
Can you please guide me regarding how one can view the org structure below the selected branch when i click on expand this branch section.
Manager Personnel Id is not maintained for this org unit - Should the user clicking on the expand this branch be the manager of the org unit to see the org structure.

I am not able to see that navigation icons within an org chart box - The org unit that is displayed on clicking the orgchart does have branches in SAP but i am not able to see these navigation icons that lead me to these branches.
Is there any specific step that needs to be done to see these branches.
By the way what is the log file you are refering to is it the "PresentationResources.xml " or is it any other log file.

Expanding a JTree Node on selection
Hi,
I have a need to expand the node on selection in a JTree. I would like all the children to be recursively expanded and selected.
I believe the code lies somewhere with in JTree's TreeSelectionListener.
The code I have is as follows

What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system

Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Information on where terminated
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "CL_RSAWBN_OBJ_IOBJ_DATA=======CP" -
in "GET_TRFN_AWBSUBOBJ".
The main program was "RSAWBN_START ".

I have read the sap notes and that is exactly what happen to me.
but I don't understand how to correct it.
It said :
This error cannot be corrected automatically. Use the method DELETE_VERSION_FROM_DB of the class CL_RSTRAN_STAT to delete the existing A version of the transformation manually in the target system.
Ensure that the transformation is permanently deleted from the database; therefore, you should verify that the correct transformation ID is specified (in the short dump, the TranID that is specified in the short dump is in the variable L_TRANID).

Is there a way to script "expand appearance"?
I have created a method to create line art roof shingles row-by-row. I think something like this is a good candidate for scripting, but I run into a dead-end quickly when trying to script this. Basically, I use "expand appearance" multiple times during the course of this process and I can't find any way to script that action. I have heard about using MenuIDs, but I can't find anything on how to discover what the MenuID for "expand appearance" is.
Anyhow, here is the tutorial. If anyone can give me some pointers on how to script this process, I would be very thankful.
I have also tried recording an action, but "expand appearance" doesn't get saved.I used the recorder to record an action. The Expand Appearance step didn't record. I just now noticed you can add menu items to actions from the drop-down menu. Trying that. The next step is to add the tweak and roughen steps to the action.
