Expandable Form won't create 2nd page

I’ve checked numerous posting on the forum and can't solve my problem with flowable forms using LiveCycle Designer 8.2. This is my first stab at creating expandable text fields and although there are numerous posting about not being able to get the text to flow onto a second page, none of the solutions work for me. The existing form only has 1 page, but I need it to create a second page if the text boxes expand.
I have 4 text fields that need to be able to expand and flow. Each of my text fields allow multiple lines, allow page breaks within content, expand to fit, and are put into subforms so they won't overlap each other when expanded. All four text fields/subforms are contained within another subform, also set to flow and break across pages. I have a row of logos at the bottom and I have put them on the Master Page as a footer.
The preview default is dynamic and the LiveCycle file is saved as dynamic XML. The text fields expand properly except when they reach the bottom of the page, at which point they overlap the logos on the footer and disappear. The subform “wrapper” for the 4 fields has an error message though: “This object may not work properly. Although the object is allowed to break, deselecting the Allow Page Breaks Within Content option of the parent object restricts this object from breaking between pages.” I don’t know how to fix that.
If I change my Page1 content subform (untitled subform page 1) to flow instead of positioned all the formatting goes wacky and objects are positioned all over the place – most of them shoot over to a second page that’s created.
Is this fixable at all?

That creates total chaos but I think I may have figured out what is going on. I found an example of the same issue...
"The form was a converted word doc and it basically exploded when I set the layout to flowable. There were so many remnants from word that most of the form was jettisoned off the bottom of the page. It looked like garbage.
Hierarchy is important because the flowable layout (with: ‘top to bottom’ flow direction) relies on the order of the elements for positioning.
So we resolved to rebuild the form from scratch and it’s working nicely."

    Hi,
    Last line ‘Expected Date…’ coming on each page. How to print only after completion of all rows.?
    for this you can use the Table footer  so that it can be dispalyed after the end of all records,
    and can you tell me what is the type of your counter variable?
    Try using CZ options for item to compress

  • IWeb won't create another page for me

    I have created 4 pages on iWEB. I logged in as asked to publish my 5th page and it ignores my login and keeps repeating the same message/ page to login. Also I was able to link to my iWeb pages from bookmarks for the first 4 pages i created. Now, I can't link anymore. I have been using mobileme for 2 years. What do I do now?

    Welcome to the discussions. Try this: Quit iWeb. Then  menu > System Preferences... > MobileMe icon > Account tab > click on Sign Out... Then enter a garbage name and password and try to sign in. This apparently clears the MobileMe preferences. Then enter your real username and password. Once signed in, quit System Preferences and open iWeb.
    If still no luck and no-one else chips in here with a suggestion, MobileMe live chat support is now 24/7 — see this announcement.

  • Smart form footer issue in 2nd page - Horizontal line is not displayed

    Dear Experts,
    I am working on a smartform. Which has a table (Header, Main area, Footer), When there are more records and footer alone is printed in the 2nd page, i am not getting the first horizontal line for the footer and it does not look like a table in second page.
    My smartform table exactly looks like this when printed in a single page.
    |_________|______________|_________________|____________|________________|__________|  - Header
    |_________|______________|_________________|____________|________________|__________|  - Main Area
    |_______________________________________________________|___________________________|  - Footer
    When the footer alone is printed in second page, i want to print as
    |_____________________________________________________|__________________________|  - Footer
    But its printed as
    |_____________________________________________________|__________________________|  - Footer
    When the item records are printed in multiple pages, i will have header and item records in every page. The problem comes only when the footer alone gets printed in separate page.
    Please suggest me how to fix this issue. Thanks in advance.
    Rajesh.

    hi rajesh..
    check the line type for that footer. It's getting displayed properly on multiple pages because the lower line of other rows is getting overlapped on the upper one of footer. This is why you dont recognize it.
    On single page there arent any other rows. So it shows a blank.
    So as samreen said make the top line of that line type bold.
    Regards,
    Sumit.

  • (ES4) How to create a flowable form that does not overlap when pushed to a new 2nd page

    I have a form that involves text insertion boxes, plain text, and checkboxes.  I successfully made my text insertion boxes a flowing expandable layout, but once it gets too big and it has to push the subforms below it onto a 2nd page, all that information overlaps eachother on the 1st line of the new page like the subforms disappear. How do i get it to flow like the original 1st page? I can post a pic if its confusing, but its so frusturating!

    I believe my it guys have php on their server. When I look on the internet
    to try and use the form to test it, I get the error:
    The website cannot display the page
    HTTP 500
    Most likely causes:
    The website is under maintenance.
    The website has a programming error.
    What you can try:
    Refresh the page.
    Go back to the previous page.

    * Read This First
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  This script is very well documented and quite large!  It looks daunting,
    *  but really isn't.
    *  If you have experience with PHP or other scripting languages,
    *  here's what you *need* to read:
    *      - Configuration (TARGET_EMAIL & DEF_ALERT)
    *      - Creating Forms
    *  That's it!  (Alternatively, just read the Quick Start and/or
    *  Quicker Start section below).
    *  Full configuration documentation is here:
    *      http://www.tectite.com/fmdoc/index.php
    * Purpose:
    * ~~~~~~~~
    *  To accept information from an HTML form via HTTP and mail it to recipients.
    * What does this PHP script do?
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  On your web site, you may have one or more HTML forms that accept
    *  information from people visiting your website.  Your aim is for your
    *  website to email that information to you and/or add it to a database.
    *  FormMail performs those functions.
    * Quick Start
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  1. Edit this file and set TARGET_EMAIL for your requirements (near
    *      line 235 in this file - replace "yourhost\.com" with your mail server's
    *      name).  We also strongly recommend you set DEF_ALERT (the next
    *      configuration below TARGET_EMAIL).
    *  2. Install this file as formmail.php (or other name ending in .php)
    *     on your web server.
    *  3. Create an HTML form and:
    *      - specify a hidden field called "recipients" with the email address
    *        of the person to receive the form's results.
    *      - in the your form tag set the action attribute to
    *        the formmail.php you uploaded to your web server
    *  Once you have FormMail working, you may be interested in some advanced
    *  usage and features.  We have HOW-TO guides at www.tectite.com which
    *  describe many of the advanced processing you can do with FormMail.
    *      http://www.tectite.com/fmhowto/guides.php
    * Quicker Start
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  Use the FormMail Configuration Wizard here:
    *      http://www.tectite.com/wizards/fmconf.php
    *  By answering a few questions you'll get a configured FormMail and
    *  a sample HTML form ready to upload and use on your server.
    * Features
    * ~~~~~~~~
    *  For a list of features go to: http://www.tectite.com/formmailpage.php
    * Security
    * ~~~~~~~~
    *  Security is the primary concern in accepting data from your website
    *  visitors.
    *  Tectite FormMail has several security features designed into it.  Note,
    *  however, it requires configuration for your particular web site.
    * Configuration
    * ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    *  To configure this script, go to the section titled "CONFIGURATION"
    *  (after reading the legal stuff below).
    *  There is only one mandatory setting: TARGET_EMAIL
    *  and one strongly recommended setting: DEF_ALERT
    *  Full configuration information is available here:
    *      http://www.tectite.com/fmdoc/index.php

  • .pages file created in Pages for Mac won't open in Pages for iPad

    Just created a pages document on my Mac, saved it to my google drive and when attempting to "open in" from my google drive the file won't open in pages for iPhone or iPad (mini).
    All versions of Pages are on latest release.
    Messge reads:
    Document can't be imported.
    The file format is invalid.
    I download both the mac app and ios app a week ago.
    Thank you for any info!

    I've been testing file structures via google drive this morning and have yet to find a solution.
    Compressed files will not open in Pages on the ipad and an upload to Google Drive of a .pages document re downloaded to my desktop will no longer open in Pages on the Mac.
    Somewhere in the google ecosystem during upload or download / "open in" (on the ipad) the file is being restructured so that it cannot be recognized.
    An hour call with the team at Google hasn't supplied an answer yet and they have opened a case file to investigate.
    I'll update when I hear back.
    Thanks!

  • Pages won't open a document created in Pages. Error message "Document can't be opened". Document can't be emailed etc. Pages just hangs.

    I'm new to the IPad. I have a Pages document that won't open. I just get the message "Document can't be opened". If I try to export it by email Pages just hangs while converting the document. If I try to download it to a mac via Cloud, again it just hangs. The document was created in Pages on this iPad.
    Help! Please.c

    I agree with weathertx.
    What in the h*** are they doing?
    I hit the ALL STOP butting on upgrading to Mavericks when stuff started going sideways - this is just the latest.
    Trying to use iWork for the first time - and same issue.  Created a document on my iPad in Pages (I will check for update to pages but there is none indicating I need to in my App store)....and sent that pages file to my Mac Air in DropBox - tried to open "missing XML file" error and when I open the package - there really is NO XML file.  I am not a programmer and should not have to be - to create or complie a missing system file that it needs.
    Wait a sec.. WORD works but I import a file made in Pages App to Pages and is does not on my Mountian Lion MacAir..?  What?  *pinches self*
    This cannot be fixed by us.  I know that I am making far too many trips to the bug page these days - this is all starting to remind me of days gone buy when I left the PC world for this same reason.  I don't want to be a beta tester.  There is no money in this for me.
    In fact it's the reverse - this is costing me $$.
    This is not very encouraging.
    Pathetic.  Apple should be looking over the fence at this type of thing.  Thier users are the ones that you want to keep, shoudl be your greatest testimonial.
    This is not a testimonlal in the right direction.

  • How to get an option to create a page type as "Report and Form"

    Hi,
    When creating a new application, APEX 2.1 gives an option to select a page type as "Report and Form". Once we have already created an application, how to get the same option?
    Thanks,
    Hozy

    Got it thanks.
    I'm still not able to make the search/go and reset buttons work. When I use to create these pages at the time of application creation, these use to come as default. Any clue on it?

  • Developing a 2 page form, username on the 1st page, password on 2nd how can i force FF to use the username from previous page when it asks to remember acct info?

    I am developing a 2 page signup form, where the person enters their username on the 1st page and password on the 2nd.
    When I test the form, FF asks to remember my password for the site - however it thinks the zipcode (field above the password) is the username on the account.
    I have tried to put their username/email in a hidden field on the 2nd page, just above the password field - and that did not work.
    How can i force FF to use the username from previous page when it asks to remember acct info?

    This website is using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving and filling the name and password.
    You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save names and passwords and other form data.

  • I have pages 09 0n my Mac Mini, but iCloud won't accept pdf documents not created in pages...

    I have pages 09 0n my Mac Mini, but iCloud won't accept some pdf documents not created in Pages (Its says Document format not supported).
    How do I get docs (pdf/jpg etc.), that are saved under "Documents" on my Mac Mini (Not in Pages), onto iCloud???
    I want to transfer (None Pages) documents from the Mac Mini to my iPad 3 (Which has Pages for iPad 3).
    Thanks in advance for ANY Feedback!

    You can download PDF files from iWork's page to a mac, but you can't upload from mac.  Also, you can't use iCloud like MobileMe's iDisk.  Most document formats on your mini can't be copied to iCloud.  Use Dropboc instead.

  • Create HTML page inside form 6i

    Hi ,
    I would like to know if it's possible to create an HTML page inside form 6i ,, where this html page will include a time using html code, and a refresh button will be in the form whenever I press the refresh button the html page inside the form will be updated ..
    how can i do that ?
    Thanks in advance … :)

    Yes its possible . If you are running forms in client server , use host built in to open the html page. This html page can be created
    dynamically using text io.
    If you are running on web use webutil client host and text io.
    Best Regards
