Expdp from HPUX and them impdp in Windows. Both database are 10204

Hi,
Can I do expdp from HPUX and then impdp to Windows. Both are running on 10.2.0.4. Please let me know if I need to what I need to specify in the expdp and impd to make this happen. Thank you in advance.

if you set up a database link in the source HP-UX database to the target Windows database, you don't need to export the database and you can use
impdp network_link=<name of the database link> see http://www.techrepublic.com/article/import-data-via-a-network-link-in-oracle-10g/6132883
If you don't want to do that, yes, export is platform neutral. However if you use ftp to transfer the export from one database to another, this should be done in binary mode.

If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.

You need to contact Sony and see if they model you have is compatible with the docking adapter. It may not be.

If the icons have a black arrow bottom left corner, then the icons are just aliases, not the Application itself. You can move those icons to the Trash.

Windows 7 no internet, tried downloading drivers from bootcamp and get an error mssg saying they are no longer on server. What to do?

Creating INDD file from INX and visa versa

My task is to create a inx file from indd file and that was easy. I just use

but my problem is that I now have a more that one INDD file and one INDB file and client ask me to make INX file from it.
(I;m just a developer and I never use InDesigner application at all so is it possible? and how?
and than I have to form INX file create INDD file , text file and all Linking files in Links folder.

I'm a designer not a developer, so I'm not sure I'll be helping but the normal behavior when opening an INX file is creates an untitled .indd file. This is is typical. I'm not sure how you would automatically rename back to what it was previously. Have you tried packaging the indd file BEFORE you make the INX file? Also InDesign has the ability to embed the images in the file or link them to external files. You might check to see if that is done, by checking the links pallet. Unfortunately I'm not following what you're starting goal and end goal is. I'll be helpless with the programming end, but any questions regarding how InDesign would typically do it, I'm happy to help with. Remote connect to Windows Internal Database from another server

Hello,
I have a WSUS server which has Windows Internal Database installed. Now If I have to manage the database using SQL Server management studio, then I need to connect using the Server Name as \\.\pipe\MSSQL$MICROSOFT##SSEE\sql\query
Now, if I want to connect to the server that has Windows Internal Database installed, but does not have SQL Server Management Studio installed, then how to connect?
Please advice. Thanks in advance.

You can either install SQL Server management Studio or SQLCMD and then work with Windows Internal Database
Both of these are freely downloadable from microsoft website.

How to delete formula from cells and keep the values in Excel VBA

In my Excel I have 15 columns. In column F which has a formula (INDEX MATCH), it has contains "RECEIVED" and "INTRANSIT". I need to filter the column F for all "RECEIVED" and then remove the formula from cells and
retain or keep the values that are already in the cells. something tricky and i'm not sure on how to work on this in Excel VBA.

Restore Library from Vault and projects empty

I have purchased Aperture 3.1.1 from the Mac App Store and then proceeded to import all of my photos by Restoring the Library from my Aperture Vault.
The Vault imported and of course Aperture asked me to update the database as the Vault was created in an earlier version of Aperture 3.
Now, in Aperture I can see all of my folders, projects and albums. However, each project, folder or album indicates that there are 0 objects and also there are no generated thumbnails.
They are obviously in the Vault and now the Library because both files are over 36Gb in file size.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Just to be clear in the first paragraph you mention restoring the vault and in the second you mentioned importing. You did use the Aperture vault command *Restore Vault* ?

Hi,
the main limitation is that you cannot access a SQL express from remote (even there are tricks to work around that), so you cannot add another machine to the RMS cluster.
Microsoft's recommendation for production systems is to use a full SQL server, what allows you clustering and running all sorts of maintenance tasks.
Other than that SQL Express has a 10GB total limitation for all databases running on that server.

Move Java Frame into Windows taskbar notification area (system tray)?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has written a service-like application in Java running (and appearing) in the Windows "taskbar notification area", instead of running in the convential Windows taskbar.
I'm able to add an icon to the taskbar notification area (frequently errorneous called as the 'system tray') by using some native code that uses win32 Shell_NotifyIcon(.. , ..). However, I'm not able to 'couple' the window (i.e. the Java frame) to the new icon in the taskbar.
My icon is shown in the area AND the frame is shown as an application in the taskbar... I would like to 'remove' my Java application from the taskbar and place it 'as an icon' in the taskbar notification area.
Has anyone had experience with a similar problem?

If all you need is to make the frame not visible in the taskbar as well than why don't you activate the hide() method? cature the minimize event and activate the frame.hide(); method. And in the system tray make the frame visible by frame.show();
