Expected Goods Movement in GATP

Hi Experts
Has anybody used the Expected Goods Movement (EGM) functionality in Global ATP ? I'm trying to find out if it requires EWM as a pre-requisite.
The SAP Help link seems to show this under GATP, but gives examples from EWM, so I'm not sure.
Business requirement is that in certain cases, show some inventory as 'available' a few days before it posts as goods receipt. EGM seems to meet the requirement, but we don't have EWM in scope.
Thanks

Hi,
1.Please keep the tick mark for the All components for Goods movements in OPK4,Confirmation parameters
As per the SAP Help
2.If you set the indicator, the system displays all the components regardless of whether or not the backflushing indicator is set for the component in the order.
3.If you do not set the indicator, the system only displays the components for which the backflushing indicator is set.
In addition, the material produced appears in the goods movements overview if it is to be placed into stock using an automatic goods receipt. You specify whether or not an automatic goods receipt is to take place in Customizing for the operation control key or in the production scheduling profile.
I think it can be helpful
Thanks

  • Batch Determination when Goods Movement done from DBM side

    Hi SAP Experts,
Greetings to all of you!! I wanted to ask you a question:
We have configured DBM and Automatic Bacth Determination is active in our system from MM side.
and when we click the "Goods Movement" button in the DBM screen (this should issue goods with mvt type 261) we get error message saying: Enter Batch".
There is no field on DBM screen where I can enter the batch number. And the system is also unable to determine the batch (i was expecting the batch will be assigned automatically becasue the Batch Determination was configured in the system).
Please tell me if there is any customization missing from DBM or MM side to perform the goods movement.
Moreover the "Goods Movement" is working fine for materials which are not batch managed.
    Thanking you in advance.
    Regards,
    UK

    Hi UK,
i am sorry i don't think DBM is currently supporting batches.

  • Standard cost estimation after goods movement when material ledger is activ

    Hi!
our client is activated material ledger, for some materials standard cost estimation is done till marking but not released.
goods movements have been posted for those materials.
Now system is not allowing to release the standar price for those material in the current period, as material ledger expects same price for entrie period.
what is the alternative way to update the standard price for those materials ( with out reversing the goods movements).
    regs,
    ramesh

    Hi Ramesh,
When you are using Material Ledger, after goods movemnets for materials, no need to change the standard cost estimate as Actual costing run will take care to derive the PUP price.
If there is no standard cost estimation release for sold materials (e.g.FG), you will get an error message duirng the billing document release to accounting. To aviod this error, if you are using split valuation (valuation types) and mixing ratios (CK91N & CK94), try with the below steps:
Create a new valuation type for the same material
    Crate CK11N & CK94,
    Run CK11N
    Run CK24.
    Then release the billing document.
Let me know if you need more details.

  • Send IDOC DESADV4.DELVRY03 after goods movement

I need to send an IDOC DESADV4.DELVRY03 when a goods movement type 951 is done. The IDOC is standard but I need to fill it manually, obviously, because there is no real delivery with data to fill it.
I think the steps are the following but I need a little help to do everything:
1 - Go to transaction NACE and for application 'ME' define a new output type. But how I do that? What are the steps here to generate a message when a goods movement type 951 is created?
2 - Now... I expect to have data in table NAST, for generated output messages, but I'm missing some configuration I think.
3 - In WE20 I define a partner profile for my IDOC, there I specify in Message control tab the application and message defined in NACE, and a Z process code defined by me in transaction WE41. That process code will be related with a Z function module to generate manually the IDOC.
As you can see, I have a bit knowledge about this but not enogh to finish it.

  • Error in PARALLEL goods movements involving batch name

    Hello everybody,
I am facing some problem in goods movement and expect some views in the following scenario.
Having a problem in PARALLEL goods movements when multiple users perform any of these pair of transactions
    (PGI with GR),
    (GR with GR),
    (GR-PGI-PPorder confirmation)
The system generates message M3682 'Batch & of material & is already locked by &'.
We are facing this transaction blocks very frequently.
The common factor in all these transactions is the batch name 'OK'.
Till now the material lock (OMJI) was "EXCLUSIVE LOCK", i had tried to simulate with activating "LATE LOCK" also, but the same error M3682.
Please spare some time in analysing this scenario. Please let me know if you need more details.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Joy Ghosh

What is the quantity of one batch?
How many plants do you have?
in what portions do you sell this material?
Answering those questions could actually bring some light, as I usually consider this as an unlikely event, which often happens in training sessions because of unrealistic test cases, but occurs less often in reality.
I am working in a chemical company and a batch could be for example any quantity between 2 and 100 tons.
Lets assume we produced 20 tons, and we pack this into 50 drums with 200 kg and 100 drums with 100 kg
Assuming that each customer orders just 1 drum, then we would have a maximum of 150 activities until the batch is gone.
if this is distributed through 15 plants, then each plant has just 10 activities.
In a normal day with 8 hour working time, it is a little more than one activity per hour in average.
Is a batch really  sold off within one day, or isn't it usual that you may need several days until everything is sold?
If the users are well trained, which means they know that they shall not use a change transaction to display content, that they shall leave a transaction when they go for lunch (or something else) then such cases that they block each other can happen but much less than some panic stories try tell us.
Try to search for notes, there are some, but they can certainly not make this locking go away as it is technically needed, like you cannot have 2 trains on single track without collision

  • BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT Goods Movement Posting Problem

When performing a process order confirmation via the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT, I'm experiencing some difficulties with the goods movements.  Specifically, when attempting to post a goods receipt to the order via a 101 movement along with a goods issue to the order via a 261 movement, the movements are posting as two separate material documents instead of a single material document.  Secondly, the movements post under the transaction code COGI (from the MKPF-TCODE2 field) which seems a little odd to me as I was expecting something specific to the BAPI or at least COR6N.
For others utilizing this BAPI with goods movements specified, what transaction code do the materials post under and is there some config or setting directly in the BAPI which I'm missing to ensure goods movement postings occur under a single material document?
Thanks in advance for any/all assistance,

    Hi Randy,
Please check with T-Code CORK & also check hte confirmation configuration in OPK4.
Check the "All Components" under Generally Valid settings Tab.

  • Material with Skip Inspection but no Skip-to-stock goods movement

We have a material with the following QM setting:
    Inspection Type : 01 (Active)
    Skips Allowed = Yes
    automatic usage decision = Yes
Inspection with Task list = No
    Dynamic Modification Rule = Set
Cont.Ins Lot creation (QMAT-CHG) = "1. For each Material Doc, material, batch and sloc)
Current DMR Stage is a Skip Stage
For the above settings, when a GR is done for a material in Skip status, the system creates a Inspection Lot with status "SKIP" but still moves the stock to Q-stock.
We expect the movement to be to "unrest" but this does not happen. Also, this Q-Stock Stock Type prints on the GR Slip, which incorrectly prompts the goods to be sent to Quality Inspection. This causes a lot of confusion in the GR/Inspection process
I contacted SAP and they came back with this very unclear message:
if you are using any form of the inspection lot collection the quantity of the inspection lot will be cumulated during the goods receipt postings. So a skip-to-stock would be dangerous as no check of the quality (UD) of the coming goods receipt would occur after the first goods receipt
Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a use-exit that will work around this and move stock directly to Unrestricted use stock?

    Hi,
We faced the same problem and went back to option:
Cont.Ins Lot creation (QMAT-CHG) = "For each Material Document item
This solves the problem and was in our case the solution for receipts from production. But at goods receipt for purchase orders we still use the option for each material document, batch and SL.
There we pick up the materials in WM by hand by scanning the bar codes on the pallets (printed at GR). The transfer order creates a negative quant in unrestricted use that is later filled by the automatic usage decision that moves the stock from quality to unrestricted in the same bin.
    Hope this helps.....

    Hi Experts,

and assigned . The same should flow automatically in all the Business
Transactions Like Production Order , Goods Issue, Goods Receipt , Sloc

to be allowed in any goods movement transaction.
One requirement Pl. except the Feild exit any other suggestions.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards ,

    HI,
check the spro settings at Logistic General ---> Batch Management ---> Define Batch creation for goods movement,  here you remove automaic batch creation and select proper manual assignment that suits to your requirement. If is manual only tnen yoy can assign your own batch,

  • Confirmation of process order create : goods movement

    Dear Sir/Madam ,
I am using the Transaction Code - CORK for confirmation of process order , but promblem is that when i am saving the goods for confirmation then material pi101 has some error i.e the material pi101 is locked by another user or something , then that is not confirmed but rest of the material which are having 531 movement are confirmed ,
so i want that if the first material i.e pi101 which has 101 movement that should be confirmed first then after that rest of the goods having 531 movent confirm,
i have already  searched the userexit for transaction cork i.e CONFPI05 when saving the data and another one is CONFPI06 for   Actual data transfer plz tell me what will be the logic and which structure to call in this userexit because in this userexit the structure which is present is not of use .
    thanks and regards ,

    Hi,
I believe you would need to append the below line for your code for goods movement.
    wa_timetickets-order_itno = p_itno.  " Order item nos.
Check & revert if it resolves the issue.

  • Confirmation of Production Order without all Goods Movements

    Hello experts!
I've tried to do a confirmation of one material that had only one level BOM with one material, but, when I try to do the Goods Movement in CO15, only the component appears. To another materials the goods movements was done for the two materials.
I've changed routing, BOM, material record... but I didn't have success.
    Any ideas?
    Regards,
    Rodrigo.

    Dear
You might have kept Backflashing Indicator -1 in MRP2 view  and while doing CO15-In goods movement tab -You will find BOM compoenets with movement type -261 .But your requirement is to carry out the Auto GR-101 while confirmation posting .
    Please do the following :
1.Goto -OPJK-Define Production Scheduling Profile -Here for that scheuling profile which have been assinged in Work Scheduling view -Mark the Auto GR active .
2.In the routing  or in the Production Order -Operation Overview screen -Goto Operation Details -Slect the last operation -Assing the Operation Control Key which has Auto GR active like SAP Stanrda PP03 .Please check in OPJ8-Slect the Operation Control key -Hit the details information -Check the Auto GR Marked .Based on this while you will do CO15 , GR-101 (MIGO-101) will happen .
    Hope it helps

  • Goods movement with serial numbers

    Hi,
    1. Is there any report or table where I can see goods movement of material with their serial numbers?
    2. Also in MMBE i can see 'On order stock'. I know this is PO open PO quantity.
Now this open PO qty will not be there against any storage location. I got some stock on this status in some storage location.
How I can move to 'unrestricted stock' status?
    Please advice.

    Hi
    Check these tables,
SER00 General Header Table for Serial Number Management
SER01 Document Header for Serial Numbers for Delivery
SER02 Document Header for Serial Nos for Maint.Contract (SD Order)
SER03 Document Header for Serial Numbers for Goods Movements
SER04 Document Header for Serial Numbers for Inspection Lot
SER05 Document Header for Serial Numbers for PP Order
SER06 Document Header for Serial Numbers for Handling Unit-Content
SER07 Document Header for Serial Numbers in Physical Inventory
And in order to move On Order stock to Unrestricted you need to close those POs by doing GR.
    Hope it helps

    Hi,
Is Serial number is the one obtained thro stadard batch management or is it a Zfield.
On Order stock cannot be converted to unrestircted stock unless a GR is made.
