Hi Folks,
The posting date is maintained in the table PTRV_Doc_header. Using the table we have created a query to fetch the posted trips according to posting date.

MIR7 exchange rate is not modefied with respect to posting date

Hi Experts,
In our SAP system , we use MIR7 to create park invoice at first ,and then use MIR4 to change the parked invoice and post it.
but when creating parked invoice, it's in say June and the exchange rate is 100, and when we create real invoice from parked invoice, it's October and exchange rate turns to 115.
Then I change the posting date in the invoice from June to Ocetober, but the exchange rate is still 100 it is not changing according to the new posting date. How can I solve this problem, please give me a solution a.s.a.p.

Create Report with CR4E and XML Data Source

Hi all,
I have a problem when create a report with CR4E that should use a XML data source. It is not possible to choose fields from the field explorer, because ther are no fields from the XML-file. Is there a general problem when using an ODA data source in CR4E? At the moment I can only create reports with a database as data source.
Please help me with a tip.

Document Type with a later posting date

Hi,
We are on SAP B1 2005 PL50.
We occasionally get the message " There is a document of this type with a later posting date" while posting AP invoices. It happens to some AP invoices only because other invoices get added even though the document is posted with a prior posting date then what is in existence
Please advice, what could be causing this.

Hi Mohamed,
If there is a document existing in the database with a posting date later
than the current one, this system message will pop up.
This system message works based on the following setting:
Under Administration -> System Initialisation -> Document Settings ->
Tab 'General' is a tickbox 'Block Documents with Earlier Date'.
If this box is ticked, the error message 'There is a document of this
type with a later posting date.' is received and the document
cannot be added. This affects the following documents:
- AR and AP Invoice
- AR and AP Credit Memo
- AR and AP Reserve Invoice
If the box is unticked, the system displays the message: 'There is a
document of this type with a later posting date. CONTINUE or
CANCEL.' If 'Continue' is chosen, the document can be added.
It is not possible to turn this off message.

This part is just the place in the program where the error occured, but why the error occured is mentioned earlier in the dump.
Maybe you have a too big number in the field and hence a field overflow, maybe you have a character instead of a number in the field.
Read the dump from the beginning. if you dont know how to read a dump,then try to get help from any local Abaper.

Try to under the concept of schduling During MRP run,
Scheduling will be done for FG with respect to scheduling data maintained for FG material. It will not consider the planned delevery time of its child materail.
Requirement date is created for FG only, on this date FG should be deliverd to stock.
u have to plan raw material to meet requirement date.
System will not reschedule FG order automatically if raw delivery time is delayed it will give exception message only to reschedule. You have to reschedule FG order with respect to delivery date of ROH manually by doing material avilablity check.
I hope this should have given some idea

Aging report on top of Posting Date

Dear All,
We have one standard report Days Overdue Analysis (0FIAR_C03_Q005). The values for ranges (0-30,31-60 and all ) are getting calculating based on Net Due date.
But I want to calculate that based on posting date.
Can anyone plz tell how we can do this?

I did a similar custom report for Dispute Aging at my client site using Dispute creation date for aging calculations. I also had to change the buckets to 1 - 10, 11 - 30, 31 -90 instead of the standard 1 - 30, 31 - 60, 61 - 90 etc.
All i did was copy the standard query, change the offset values to meet my user requirements and then change the characteristic for the due date variable to use document creation date instead of net due date. That is where ever i saw net due date characteristic i simply replaced it with document created date characteristic and used the same variable that was used on net due date in the standard query. I dont recall having to create duplicate variables because if i remember right, the variables on date characteristics are usually usable across different date characteristics.You might be able to do the same with posting date instead of net due date.

Error in Generating reports with large amount of data using OBIR

we hve integrated OBIR (Oracle BI Reporting) with OIM (Oracle Identity management) to generate the custom reports. Some of the custom reports contain a large amount of data (approx 80-90K rows with 7-8 columns) and the query of these reports basically use the audit tables and resource form tables primarily. Now when we try to generate the report, it is working fine with HTML where report directly generate on console but the same report when we tried to generate and save in pdf or Excel it gave up with the following error.

Oracle Reports with XML output showing data as asterik character

Hello,
I'm trying to create an Oracle report with xml output. Here is the issue I'm having some of the columns in my report are of datatype number. When I run the report and generate xml file the values for those columns(datatype number) are showing as (*) character, other columns are showing fine. But when I run the report as text output then data is fine. I don't understand why this is happening.
The property of column is Column Type - Database Scalar, Datatype - Number , width 0,-127.
Does the width has to do anything with this?
I'm using Report Builder 6.0.8.11.3, DB version 10g.
Can anyone please help me with the issue I'm having.

BOXIR2 FP4.6 -WebI report with merged dimensions: Incorrect data

Issue: BOXIR2 FP 4.6 -WebI report with merged dimensions: Max value of an object from second query is displayed in the report even when the formula is based on the object from the first Query.
Data displays properly on BOXIR2 SP2.
Steps to reproduce.
1.Use u2018Island Resort Marketingu2019 Universe to create a WebI report.
2. Create a Query with objects u2018Reservation Dateu2019 and u2018Future guestsu2019 and apply a query filter where the u2018Reservation Dateu2019 is between 1/1/2001 and 31/1/2001 an Run the query.
3. Add a second Query with the same objects i.e. u2018Reservation Dateu2019 and u2018Future guestsu2019 and apply a query filter where the u2018Reservation Dateu2019 is between 1/1/2001 and 31/12/2001.
4. Create a report variable MaxDate using the syntax "=Max([Query 1].[Reservation Date]) In Report"
5. Use the objects u2018Reservation Date Query 2u2019, u2018Future guests Query 2u2019 and u2018MaxDateu2019 variable to create a table in the report.
You will find the Maxdate column displays Max date values of u2018Reservation Date Query 2u2019 instead of u2018Reservation Date Query 1u2019.

MaxDate variable returns a maximum of Reservation date from Query 1 i.e. 1/15/01 which is correct. If you put that variable separately it will display that date correctly but you are grouping it along with objects from the query2 thatu2019s why it is displaying correct value for Query 2 where it finds 1/15/01, but for other values WEBI canu2019t group this value as it refers its formula which contains Query 1 reservation date.
Hence we canu2019t say it is displaying values from Query 2 it is taking values from Query1 itself for 1/15/2001 and for remaining values it is taking non matching values from Query 2 with which it is grouping.
If you put that variable with objects from Query1 it wonu2019t display 1/15/01 but all values reservation date from query 1 contains because it is grouping based on reservation date though it is single max value.
Even when you write "=Max(Query 2.Reservation Date) formula and use it with objects from query 1 though it contains so many values it matches (Groups) only the values from reservation date from Query 1.and displays only those values i.e. 1/1/2001 and 1/15/01.
MaxDate returns 1/15/01 as Maximum Date value from Query 1 but Query 2 contains value far more greater than 1/15/01 hense that will be more incorrect data if WEBI displays maxdate as 1/15/01 along with Query 2 objects.
Here we can avoid this behavior by Custom SQL but MaxDate is a report level variable hence we canu2019t edit SQL.
If your data contains some duplicate values WEBI will repeat MaxDate value like
Reservation date     Restaurant           Future_Guests    Total Guests
1/1/01                          ABC                         3                   3
1/15/01                       XYZ                          4                   8
1/16/01                       XYZ                          4                   8
By default, WEBI Groups Total Guests based on the Restaurant and Reservation Date, but if we want we can group those values based only on Restaurant which will duplicate Total Guest values for Restaurant XYZ. But you report contains only one dimension with all unique Values we canu2019t group those.

You can link EKBE to BKPF to BSET.
EKBE has the PO number and Material Doc#, BKPF has the Accounting Doc#, and BSET has the tax information. You might need to right a query to get your required list.

Report on most recent posting date

Hi experts,
My report needs to show the fields profit center and its posting date.posting date should have a selection variable for the user to enter a key date.The report should show only the last posting date for every profit center before the key date.
my doubt is that the data in the infoprovider should be compared to get the last posting date. is it possible to read the data and get the recent posting date in the customer exit for the variable on posting date.
Please suggest the possible ways of doing this.

The recent posting date for the profit centre can not be stored as a transaction data in the cube and it can not be derived in the customer exit.
You have to add a date field as the master data attribute of profit centre and populate that from the transaction cube data to get last posting date for each profit centre.
You can then show is as the nav attaribute of profit centre in the report.

Report with monthwise dep posted for assets

User needs a report which shows depreciation posted for each month for an asset (not the asset explorer).Is there any standard report.
If I have create a report with SAP query,I cant find where I could get the period wise mentioned.Ordinary dep posted field ANLCV-NAFA-GEB is there but how do I get it period wise.Is it feasible thru SAP Query report or an ABAP report can do.

Hi,
in the FI-AA menu you can find 2 reports showing posted depreciation period wise. They are based on table ANLP (= period depreciation) and show the posted depreciation. Hence you can only report on periods which have been posted.
If you need also a simulation of period depreciation (for open or future years), you can use the depreciation simulation report (RASIMU02), which has an option "monthly" reporting.
Finally you could also use the FI-AA standard BI delta extraction functionality, to report on this in a BI environment.
