I am thankful to all of you, i got valuable suggesion from your site.
I having 1 query on FI Aging report.......
Need balance amount in aging formate like 0-30 Balance, 31-60,……..
Here I using 3 variable .
Posting date Variable(key date)– Single Value, Mandatory,
closing date Variable  and due date Variable (both are key date) --  Single Value, Optional, customer exit.
2 customer exit for closingdate and due date.
So it will take input  value from 3rd  posting date variable.
So here 0-30 balance is CKF, which came through
0-30 open balance (RKF1) + 0-30 close balance (RKF2)
Now  0-30 Open Balance (RKF1)  is –
item status = 0, posting date <= key date, 0deb_cre_amt_lc, due date (key date)
Now  0-30 Close Balance (RKF2)  is –
cleared date > key date, 0deb_cre_amt_lc, posting date <= key date, due date (key date)
Now In my report I am getting data on Column
0-30 Open Balance
0-30 Close Balance
0-30 balance
But This Data is not aged on 0-30 Days!!!!
If I am using offset on due date like….
due date between key date and key date +30 (in the variable offset) in RKF1 & RKF2
then data is coming for only  0-30 days (if it is there).
Suppose key date is 11.11.2006, then till 11.10.2006 date data is coming on 0-30 days column. That is right.
But when key date is 11.12.2006, then data should come in 31-60 days column, which is not coming.
Required aging???????

Am I missing something here. If it is aging based on key date, then your calculation should go back. For example, if your key date is 11/11/2006 (dd/mm/yyyy), then you should see all transactions which falls between 11/10/2006 and 11/11/2006 (approx) for 1-30 calculation.
<u>For this variable offset should be</u>
Keydate -30;Keydate-0
<u>31 to 60 days: Offset should be</u>
Keydate-60; keydate-31
Likewise, it will go further.

  • V V URGENT Report  for Vendor Aging

    Hi ABAP Gurus,
    I have to develop a report for VENDOR AGING. My requirement is i have to post an invoice. From Payment terms i have to get Dependent on posting date. Let us assume if payment term is 100 by adding posting date + payment term (100) i have to get due date. I'am giving I/P terms as Company code & Period. If i enter company code i have to get O/P as vendor name(lfa1-name1),vendor no(bsik-lifnr),bill no(bsik-xblnr),bill date(bsik-bldat) i.e., baseline date,amount(bsik-dmbtr) and duedate (this i have to pick from payment terms). For period i have to get O/P as 1st week bucket,2nd week bucket,3rd week bucket,4th week bucket and beyond. For this you have to take the difference b/n due date and that buckets based on this result you have to put that amount of rupees whether it is going to pay in 1st week r 2nd r 3rd r 4th or beyond this. If that due date is less than or equal to 1st week it has to come and fall in 1st week. THIS IS MY REQUIREMENT.
    For this i'am using tables BSIK,LFA1.
    Can any body send me the code on this. For this my delivery date is on monday.
    Please help me on this it's very Urgent...

    Hi,
    Ask the abaper to write an query from the table S032 there you can find the option of last good receipt date and the last goods issue issue date.
    consider the various good mvt in between these dates calcuate the diffence betwee the current date and the last good issue date, so that you can abel to get the stock list that is not moving for more than 60 days,120 days etc
    You can also use MC46, MC50,  MB5M - expiration date list . In case if that does not solve their requirement then you need take logic from client and you need to develop own report

  • Report for Inventory Ageing

    Our client wants a report for Inventory Ageing. (we are not using batch management)
    Use tried to sell Standard report MC46 but they are not convinced with the results.
    The issue is if the material is not consumed for last 399 days but today if some movement is there in that particular material, then the material is not shown as non moving. Actually the material was not at all used for last 399 days.
    In mc.5 report there are key figures like last consumption, last good issue etc but the same problem is there with it.
    We are trying to develop a customised report.
    Please help.

    The Stock Aging Report displays the description of material that are stocked for n-number of periods at particular inventory locations( may be trading plant or manufacturing Plant). The details, which are displayed, are about the aging period for the selected items.
    There are reports and T code are
    MC.A ,
    MC.9,
    MM5B,
    MMBE,
    MB5M,
    MC50 - Dead Stock ,
    MC46 - Slow-moving items,
    If the above reports not meet your requirement, you should develop your own ABAP program to meet your specific business requirement.
    This is define in overall stock on value based, suppose a material is received in Feb-month, same material is received in Jan-2007 , DEC-2007  also.The total value of this inventory is say 90 lakhs, ( 30 lakhs of each month) so  system will show inventory aging as below
    stock aging less than 30 days, 90 lakhs
    stock aging more than 30 days but below 60 days 60 lakhs
    stock ageing more than 60 days but below 90 days 30 lakhs
    Assuming that no issue taken place if issue is taken place, it will be deducted by default FIFO method.
    You may have to develop an ABAP report.
    However, look into the path: information system > logistics > inventory managment > material and explore all like MC.9,MC.A,MC.B & MC.C

  • How to consider internal transfer movement for material aging Z report

    Hello Expert ,
    we are developing Z repot for material ageing .
          In this we are using BSIM table  but in our case internal transfer movement such as ( 411 ,412 ,413 ,etc.) create debit credit entry in BSIM for this reason value of material getting correct but age of material get disturbed .
    we are having sale order stock (E), WBS stock(Q) , Collective stock , Vendor Stock (o) & stock transfer between stock type possible.
    For all above consideration how to calculate material Age.

    another question; how to unify the stock locations rather than maintaining different locations such as sales order stock, free goods, commercial stock and in the same time the margin reporting to be based on transaction/line item in sales invoice?

  • Report MC46 & MC50 for Inv Aging

    Dear Friends,
    To get the inventory aging report I am using report MC46.
    What is the significance of last column "Days since consumpti" & "date".
    The days showing does not match with the difference between today's date & the date of last consumption.
    It is abruptly taking the date.
    What is the difference between report MC46 & MC50.
    These are not considering batches of materials.
    Is there any other standard report for inventory aging?

    for what purpose do you need the age of a batch?
    if for quality reasons, then your  material master and the batches should have shelf life data. then you can run MB5M transaction to monitor shelf life.
    Further you can use BMBC to analyse batches according to last GR date  or manufacturing date and many other options.
    Please give an example for your last consumption date problem in MC46. what is your last consumption date, from where did you take this info and how many days since last consumption are shown in MC46?

  • Better user experience for slow reports (loading in background, progressbar

    Hi
    In our application, some reports take a long time till they are displayed. Therefore it would be nice, if i could provide the user with some feedback (example: progressbar). Is it possible to have this? Upon print, when a pdf file is being constructed (in web) we already have such functionality in place, is it possible to have it generally?
    Mayb,e it would also be possible to have the report load the first page quickly, so the user has already something to look at, and load all the other needed data in a background thread. (i dont think it is possible, however, somebody may have an idea)
    Does anybody have an idea how we could achieve a better user experience for our reports. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Crystal Report 2008 we have a inbuilt functionality of progress bar .If you are not getting progress bar for every report that means those reports are not taking to much time.

    If you want to improve performance of report then we need to keep in mind few thing while creating report in Crystal report designer:
    Here are a few points related to performance issue .
    The performance of a report is related to:
    External factors:
    1. The amount of time the database server takes to process the SQL query.
    ( Crystal Reports send the SQL query to the database, the database process it, and returns the data set to Crystal Reports. )
    2. Network traffics.
    3. Local computer processor speed.
    ( When Crystal Reports receives the data set, it generates a temp file to further filter the data when necessary, as well as to group, sort, process formulas, ... )
    4. The number of records returned
    ( If a SQL query returns a large number of records, it will take longer to format and display than if was returning a smaller data set.)
    Report design:
    1. Where is the Record Selection evaluated?
    Ensure your Record Selection Formula can be translated in SQL, so the data can be filter down on the server, otherwise the filtering will be done in a temp file on the local machine which will be much slower.
    They have many functions that cannot be translated in SQL because they may not have a standard SQL for it.
    For example, control structure like IF THEN ELSE cannot be translated into SQL. It will always be evaluated
    in Crystal Reports. But if you use an IF THEN ELSE on a parameter, it will convert the result of the condition to
    SQL, but as soon as uses database fileds in the conditions it will not be translated in SQL.
    2. How many subreports the report contains and in section section they are located.
    Minimise the number of subreports used, or avoid using subreports if possible because
    subreports are reports within a report, and if you have a subreport in a details section, and the report returns 100
    records, the subreport will be evaluated 100 times, so it will query the database 100 times. It is often the biggest
    factor why a report takes a long time to preview.
    3. How many records will be returned to the report.
    Large number of records will slow down the preview of the reports. Ensure you only returns the necessary data on the report, by creating a Record Selection Formula, or basing your report off a Stored Procedure, or a Command Object that only returns the desired data set.
    4. Do you use the special field "Page N of M", or "TotalPageCount"
    When the special field "Page N of M" or "TotalPageCount" is used on a report, it will have to generate each page
    of the report before it displays the first page, therfore it will take more time to display the first page of the report.
    If you want to improve the speed of a report, remove the special field "Page N of M" or "Total Page Count" or formula that uses the function "TotalPageCount". If those aren't use when you view a report it only format the page requested. It won't format the whole report.
    5. Link tables on indexed fields whenever possible.
    6. Remove unused tables, unused formulas, unused running totals from the report.
    7. Suppress unnecessary sections.
    8. For summaries, use conditional formulas instead of running totals when possible.
    9. Whenever possible, limit records through selection, not suppression.
    10. Use SQL expressions to convert fields to be used in record selection instead of using formula functions.
    For example, if you need to concatenate 2 fields together, instead of doing it in a formula, you can create a SQL Expression Field. It will concatenate the fields on the database server, instead of doing in Crystal Reports.
    SQL Expression Fields are added to the SELECT clause of the SQL Query send to the database.
    11. Using one command as the datasource can be faster if you returns only the desired data set. It can be faster if the SQL query written only return the desired data.
    12. Perform grouping on server
    This is only relevant if you only need to return the summary to your report but not the details. It will be faster as less data will be returned to the reports.
