Experienced Graphic Artist looking to partner with an iPhone Developer

I'm not sure if it's OK to post this here, but I'm searching for an iPhone Developer to partner with and create a new App whether it be a game or a tool. This is not a paid gig but it's something we can work on together and possible market and share the revenue. I have some great ideas to share.
About me: I'm an experienced Graphic Designer with 10 years of industry work under my belt. I've worked mostly in Web but also on small Flash games, broadcast TV shows and a lot of Web-based applications for very well known international clients like Coke, Bell and major Banks and Airlines. I own a small Web company and run a popular video game site too.
I'm looking for someone who's passionate about the iPhone's technology (and iPod Touch) who wants to work together on a small interactive application together.

I'm finding it difficult to get a graphic portfolio PDF under the required 5mb without sacrifice a little too much in quality.
Could the graphic artists in the house with portfolio PDFs let us know what their Photoshop PDF export settings are? (more specifically, DPI and JPG settings)
Naturally, this is for screen. But the people opening these files who ask for portfolios in PDF format will likely have quality gear.

Bdoc error "B partner with GUID B................ does not exist"

Hi Guru,
basically here I experienced this Bdoc error due to the fact that R/3 people took the decision to delete Master client data from R/3 tables, and afterward to reload Master clients data via legacy.
Some manual entries were already created in CRM, manually.
So during the performance of download from R/3 only the clients not already created were "re-created", sucessfully.
On the other hand for others already created in CRM with old Guids, the "re-download" with the new description, data, failed.
BDOCs produced this error:
"Business partner with GUID B............. does not exist" or "Business partner 1... already exists".
Basically I thought that partner Guid was not the same to R/3 so I deleted the entry from But000, and I tried to reprocessed the BDOc. It did not work.
I check the Guid entries in R/3 table CRMKUNNR and CRM table CRMM_BUT_CUSTNO. In these tables there the same entries.
Think that some inconsistencies are due to the deletion of master client in R/3, and next reloading via Legacy in R/3.
The question is: Which tables should I revise in order to add the right Bp GUID? How can I solve this unexpected issue? By launching a program?
I 'll reward with points if solution proposed can work.

A list of Bdoc can be provided easily from administration control R3AS, where you use matchcode to find the bdoc list.

Create business partner with reference of another business partner

I want to create a business partner with reference of another BP in CRM 2007 from Web UI, please advise whether it is possible or not, if not ...why it is not possible?

Hi Silpa,
In the standard, this isn't possible with the BP. However, you can create a customer as a reference of another existing customer, and then sync this new customer into a new BP. So you can do this indirectly,.
If you want to create a BP directy as a reference of another BP - sorry, this isn't possible. You would need to copy the BP into another BP using a custom report. You can develop your report along these lines :
1. The easiest way is to use APIs. Start by calling BUPA_CENTRAL_GET_DETAIL usign the BP number. THis will give you all the central data for the BP - e.g. name, etc. Now, merely feed the output of this module into the module BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA. This will create a new BP with the same data of the old BP.
2. Now that the main BP is ready, you need to start copying the individual datasets - addresses, bank details, roles, Id, industry,etc. This is tricky - the ADD apis - BUPA_ADDRESS_ADD, BUPA_ROLE_ADD, etc can only create one record in a call. So, you need to first get the data of the reference BP using the GET_DETAIL api e.g. : BUPA_ADDRESS_GET_DETAIL, then loop at each returned record, and pass that into the corresponding ADD BAPI.
3. Be sure to call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT at the end to commit the data to the DB.

As many of you regulars know, I'm writing a book on Motion. As well as the projects, this book has Interlude Essays - that is a couple of pages of writing on related motion graphics topics. For instance, one is "Where do I get my ideas?" another is "How to speed up Motion", etc...
I thought I'd include one on Things a Motion Graphics Artist should know. And I'm open to suggestions. Got any tips? What do YOU think a Motion Graphics Artist should know? Please contribute as many or as few as you like.

Yes - that reminds me of a quasi-questionable practice I sometimes employed as an editor of music videos that I and other editors called "The Velcro Dog".
It goes back to the fact that you never wanted to turn in a "perfect" edit on the first pass. In fact, I could count on one hand the number of times that I turned in an edit that the record label said "perfect, don't change a frame". Maybe it's human nature to justify their jobs, but inevitably, those in charge of approval would have to make some comment, request some change...
If your cut was perfect, often these changes would be for the worse, so sometimes it paid to add an obvious flaw to the edit that wasn't hard to change - thus the Velcro Dog, something bad that could be easily torn off. It might be as simple as a line that was out of sync - or maybe a shot where the lead singer had his hair in his mouth, or a story shot that was out of place. This gave those in charge something to focus on that you could fix without causing the cascading problems that more complex changes might require.
It was also something that you could change without problem if no one picked up on it.
But WOE to you if someone in the chain of Artist, Video Commissioner, Management, A&R, Marketing, etc... decided they actually liked your little velcro dog... Then you had to live with seeing it on TV like that.

Partner with a video editing software developer

I ONLY listen to music through Spotify. I hardly own any digital music anymore. But I run into a major problem when using my action cameras (a Garmin VIRB and GoPro HERO4) because I can't import my Spotify music to add to my personal videos. It would be great if spotify would partner with these or another video editing software developer so premium members can import their saved music for this purpose.

Updated: 2015-06-09Marked as new idea.
However this seems unlikely since Spotify needs to track the played songs in order to compensate the artists for each played track. With videos (that can be used offline) it would be almost impossible to track the plays.

Creation of Business Partner with External BP #,ID type and Identifications

I have a query on creation of Business Partner with External BP #,ID type and Identification # (along with the Firstname,Lastname,Email, Phone & etc.,) things.
the thing is that I was using a BAPI called "BAPI_BUPA_FS_CREATE_FROM_DATA", to create a BP and I was not able to have an option available for these things (External BP #,ID type and Identification # ) along with that BAPI.
So please kindly let me know how these things can be fetched from a BAPI which can accomodate all the above things mentioned.

Infact this reply was very useful, but ,while using the BAPI "BAPI_IDENTIFICATION_ADD" while creating the Id type and Id #s, this BAPI was not enabling this.
I was trying to use this BAPI to create ID #, and it's desc, but, this BAPI was returning like "This BP # does not exist" (in some cases) and in some other cases, it is keeping quiet without giving any indication as whether the things have been updated or not... and also when I checked, things were not getting reflected.

Configure Exchange to filter the attachments if the size is over 10 MB and store it in a public folder, and then forward the email to Salesforce.
Based on my knowledge, I'm afraid that it can't be achieved. Exchange can filter messages with attachments, but it couldn't store these attachments on public folder automatically. Also, I don't see any transport rule can do it.

Problem - SFDC does not create cases from emails that have more than 10 MB of attachments. Our clients will not go-live if their clients cannot send in emails with attachments over 10 MBs
Potential resolution - Configure MS exchange to strip off the attachments(if over 10 MB) and store it in a public folder, forward the email to Salesforce (so the case gets created or the email
is associated to an existing case), the client should have some way to know if the attachments were stripped off and should be able to dlownload the attachments and continue with case resolution.

What country are you in ? Depending upon what country that you are in then you might be able to redownload them on your Mac's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the iTunes store homepage
If you're not in a country where TV programmes can be redownloaded then connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and use the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over from your iPad

See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. But you'll still need the password.
Once you have the computer authorized to use the account she could change the password again to stop you buying apps on her card (assuming it's not on yours!). It would lock you out of upgrading them too but they should work unless she uses the deathorize all feature.
It depends on how amicable the split is...

Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

We have faced a similar problem in our previous Implementation.
This is happening in some cases, where the configuartion settingas are not correctly done.
After several tentatives, I managed to solve it activing on the Customizing for Multicompany in one client.
I have accessed to table BBPC_MARKETSET (Status of selection in a market set system) through SM30 and I have just removed the flag "Configure Market Set Procurement".
Also, another option,
check your Enhancements (customer specific) because this is a clear logical error.
The same partner function is added twice, hence it must be deleted programmatically in the enhancement logic.
FYI.. I usually encountered same type of issues in almost every implementation.
