Hi,
After going thru the SLED process in SAP i think your Scenario can well handled IF SLED is activated to your plants and you can arrest the GR with Movt types
As this is more relevant to MM sit with your MM consultant and configure SLED
Before That please understand the entire process of SLED Ref the Link:

  • Material Under Quality  - Block for invoice/payment

    Dear all,
When the material is lying under quality inspection the user should not be able to do invoice posting or posting.By standard its allowing once GR is done. How to do this
    Regards,
    Milton.I

    Dear Vijay,
There was similar requirement from my client for the same. At that time contacted the OSS.
The message no.280 is there but you can not configure it.
Not allowing to post the external document like Invoice as it comes leads to so much descripency in real time.
The best solution what SAP has given is in QM control key just tick the Invoice and when the invoice of that perticular material comes for posting you can post but that will be blocked for the payment if the material is not cleared from the Quality.
As the material cleared from Quality, you can release the Invoices and if the material is rejected can raise the credit memo.
This is what we did after consulting the OSS

  • Material to be block for sales document

    Hi Experts,
A requirement has come up from client side in which he wants me to stop users from creating exchange sales orders for 4 materials. Users should be able to create normal sales order with these materials. Is there any way in SAP to make this setting? 4 Materials banned for exchange order. But not for normal order. Please guide.
    Chetan Barokar.

    hello, friend.
ravi has given you the direction.  just to add... you also have the option of defining your own Exclusion condition type and access sequence (which contains the field for sales document type).
another way is to activate exclusion in the relevant sales order type using OV04 (configuration) and for sales order types where exclusion should not take place, you can just leave the activation blank.
of course, in standard you maintain exclusions per customer using t-code VB01.  if you wish to maintain records using other combination keys, you must define your own access sequence.
the configuration path is IMG > SD > Basic Functions.  look for Listing/Exclusion.  everything for configuration you will find there.

  • STO delivery should not happen for shelf life expired material

    Hai all,
When we are doing PGI for STO-PO. shelf life expired material should not do the delivery. The system should give the error message. but in our system when we do PGI the shelf life expired material is deliverying.
how do we maintain the error message when we doing PGI.

    Hi,
In Inventory management there is a which helps you "Set expiration Date Check". This allows you to make sure that the shelf life of the material is checked before delivery.
In Material master, you would need to enter relevant information in the "Plant Data/Stor. 1" tab page (Min remaining shelf life, total shelf life). Also in IMG settings, you need to activate the check for both Plant and movement type. The path is as follows:
IMG Settings > Material Management > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Goods Receipt > Set Expiration Date Check. TCode: OMJ5
    Cheers.

  • Credit limit Block for Sales Order.

    Hi.
when customer will create Sales order, it should get blocked for Credit check.
& customer will realese it with VKM3 transaction for particular document type .
Where will i do the setting?
is it Delivery Block 01-Creit Limit check?
    Reg,
    Amol

    Hi Amol,
You can gonfigure it from SD > Basic functions > credit management/risk management settings > credit management > define credit group and assign  sales doc and delivery doc. addtionally, you need to maintain automatic credit control configuration and maintain it to customer specific from FD32 regarding of its credit control area.

  • Sales Order Block for Billing

    Hi All
I have a bussiness where I am reciving the SP and SH address details from Idoc and and i want to block the sales order for billing  if the country code is different.
    My Proposed Solution :
I would like to write a pice of code in MV45AFZZ that if the sales order country code is differnt then it should make a billing block.
My question is do I need to validate the country code from VBPA table or there is any other way to do this. As I cant do that from KNA1 or any other customer master table beacuse that address details is coming from Idoc and that may not the same as address in customer master.
    Looking forward for your suggestion.
    Thanks
    AJ

    Hello Kumar,
Could you be more specific in describing your business requirement ?
I have a bussiness where I am reciving the SP and SH address details from Idoc and
i want to block the sales order for billing if the country code is different.
What i could sense is for creation of Sales Order, you are getting the details for Sold-To-party and Ship-To-Party from IDOC, the business requirement is if the Country code is not same as that of master then the Sales Order processing should be blocked for Billing.
If this is the actual requirement for blocking the Sales order, then the right approach should be of fetching the Country code from ADRC table with reference to ADRNR number which you can pick up from KNVP table. And then you can go ahead with ABAper and write lines of code at MV45AFZZ.
Please update this thread to make a clear line of thoughts.

  • Payment block for vendor  based on value.

    Hi Friends,
Is there any way to set like,
If the payment is >$5000 for vendor 100100, Invoice must be blocked for payment automatically.
If the payment is <$5000, Invoice should not block for payment.
    Best regards,
    RAMAN.

    Hi,
Unfortunately this is not standard SAP.
There are Vendor specific tolerances but these are not set upper value limits, they are tolerance ranges for value and so do not do what you are asking for.
There are also value tolerances that can be used to block all invoices over a certain value, but these are not vendor specific.
So if you REALLY MUST have this then a user exit or modification would be required.
Or set the payment block on the vendor and block ALL invoices and then release the lower value ones (manually) and leave the others blocked until you want them to be paid?
Sorry that there is no SAP solution for this via config.

  • Not blocking for payment

    There is a issue:
I am posting a invoice against  PO before GR posting and Upper & Lower limit of  Tolrence key BR is set here as 0% .
hence if I will post a invoice before gr then it should be blocked for payment (blocked ind. will be set as R).
But it's not happning and invoice is not getting block for payment.
pls. suggest me, where is the loop hole?

    Hi,
R represents manual block, which can be put in the Header Payment block field.
Whereas the same at item level is done as follows:
You can block an item by selecting the Ma (manual blocking reason) field in the item list. When you post the invoice, the system automatically sets an R in the field Payment block in the vendor line of the accounting document. Manually blocked items are given the blocking reason Manual block (M).

  • Sales order should get block if XYZ payment terms is used

    Dear Expert,
    The requirement is like,
If user add payment term XYZ  manually in salse order then that sales order should get block for review purpose.
    Note:
if user add that payment term in sales order client want that order should block no matter what reason ,  here client not concern about credit limit and any outstanding from customer side ,
    Thanks in advance
    hanumant

    Hi,
You need to block orders with payment terms XYZ, or only when user changes from ABC to XYZ??
If first one is your requirment, you can do with userexit - USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT, and you need to create status profile for sales document type and assign to order type, in status profile put status AUTO - automatically approved, LOCK - when XYZ is payments terms it wil not and not create delivery & REJC- Rejected, when approver dont want to approve he can reject.
In sales order userexit you need write logic when paytemnt terms is XYZ then put status as LOCK.
New repor need to create to approve LOCKed orders so that user execute and approves or rejects.
If only user change to XYZ, then you need to write logic in prepare userexit, but it will be tricy, need to store values in tempapory memory, ceck with abaper,

  • Sales Order Blocked for MRP

    Dear All
i hav a scenario for make to order where sales order created should default block for MRP,only authorized person should release the block
Please suggest how to do this
    Regards

    Hi Sugunan,
You can use default delivery blocks for your requirement.
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Transfer of Requirements - Block Quantity Confirmation In Delivery Blocks - "Deliveries: Blocking Reasons/Criteria".
Here you have the option of creating new entries. For a particular delivery block you have multiple controls as under:
Sales order block - Indicates whether the system automatically blocks sales documents for customers who are blocked for delivery in the customer master.
Confirmation block - With this you can control in addition to blocking delivery, also block the confirmation of order quantities after an availability check during sales order processing. So MRP won't be affected because no requirements will be transferred to MRP even when the sales order is saved.
Printing block - Indicates whether the system automatically blocks output for sales documents that are blocked for delivery.
Delivery due list block - The system does not take a sales document with this block applied into account when creating a delivery due list. You can only create deliveries manually for sales documents with this type of block.
Picking block - block for picking goods in delivery.
Goods issue block - Will not allow goods issue if the block is active.
    1. I would suggest create a new delivery block with a suitable description & only tick on "conf."
    2. Go to VOV8 - select the document type - assign the delivery block.
Now whenever you will create a sales order with the specific document type, the system will propose the delivery block by default for all customers. If you check at the item level - schedule lines, the system will do the availability check. When you save the sales order, the block will function & the system will not transfer the requirements to MRP. Even if you run the MRP using MD50, the system will not generate the planned order.
If you assign the reason for rejection to the sales order item, then the system will show the status of that item as complete. If there is only 1 item in the sales order, then the system will change the status of the whole sales order as complete which is not recommended.
    With best regards,
    Allabaqsh G. Patil.

  • Quantity Variance block for Invoice

    Hi All,
In one scenario I have ordered 27,000KG Materials for 90 per 1000 KG.I did the GR for whole quanity( 27,000 ).
But while doing Invoice I booked for 27 KG as quantity and amount as 2430. Instead of 27,000 KG i did booked Invoice for 27KG with the total amount.Invoice got block with reason price variance.
Here my question is why system is only blocked for price variance ? it should have blocked for Quantity varaince why it is not?
I maintained l tolerance key (DQ) for Quantity variance with higher & low limits.Still it is not blocked with quantity reason.
I have noticed that it is blocking invoice with quantity variance when I entered more quantity than delivered quantity. But why it is happening when I entered less quantity. Can any one explain what could be the  reason.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Srikanth P.

The lower tolerances generally don't produce a block. They are warning or informational only.
You don't really want a block either.  If 100kg are received as 2 x 50kg but you only get an invoice for 50 but at the correct price, you don't want a block.  You simply expect another invoice for 50kg.

    Nick

  • Black listed customers to be blocked for sales/delivery

    Hey,
I have this scenario wherein I have some customers whose credit history is pathetic. So we have decided to black list these customers and take advance before the customer places any sales order or process delivery. So the requirement is like the sales doc. should be blocked for that specific customer till he pays advance. Now I think we can configure this scenario using risk management, but am unable to figure out how. Please advise.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks in advance,
    Zak.

    hello, friend.
yes, you can do this through risk categories.  in a risk category thru OVA8, you can check maximum document value, and enter a value that is, for example 0.01.  assign the risk category to the blacklisted customer in FD32.  the sales order will be blocked if it has a value greater than 0.01.  you release the order only if you received advance payment from the customer.
you can also block a customer in FD32, or by using VD05 or XD05. in VD05/XD05, you can block a customer delivery, so the delivery block must be removed by an authorized party (please try if you also use VKM1/VKM3 to release).
    regards.

  • STO to allow if material blocked for Purchasing

    Dear All,
I have blocked material for purchasing at plant level by selecting blocking indicator 01 at MRP1 view in Material Master.
So sytem doen nto allow me to create PR and PO.
Now while creating Stock transfer PO, system is giving me the message "The material is blocked for purchasing"
I want system to allow STO though material is blocked for purchasing. But should restrict while creating PO against supplier.
Is ther any way around ?
    Regards,
    Rakesh

Remove the material status at plant level first then try with following options
    Option 1:
    1) In material master activate 'Source List'. Maintain required procurement type as F / Special procurement key as Stock Transfer.
    2) Maintain the source list for the receiving plant with supplying plant as source.
    3) In this case you will be able to create POs with stock transfer only.
    option 2:
Implement badi ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST....here write a code that if document type (BSART) is not equal to your STO document type for planr (WERKS) XXXX then system should give a customized error...take help of your ABAP person and see if this works

    Hi,
    Use listing/Exlusion- option
With exclusion we have standard table to use- combination with Sales org/Material or plant and material etc.
