Expiry Date - Customize report

Dear All
Without using batch management and warehouse management i declare self expiry period for material in material master. During goods receipt the system ask me to enter manufacture date and all. Now i want to customize one report for to analyze expiry date of the material. I cant able to write the functional spec for the report. I am totally confusing to create the spec.
If i am receiving single material in first of the month and last of the month . Now the sum up qty in stock. If i run the report means how it shows the date for the material. Kindly help me. Whether it is possible or not?

Hi,
You cannot achieve this without batch control.
If you receive one item on the 1st of the month and 1 item on the 10th of the month nand then issue 1 utem on the 15th of the month, how will the system know which item has been issued.
By using bathces you can specify the batch number at receipt and attach an expiry or production date, then when you issue the stock you can specify which batch has been issued. the system therefore has a record of the stock and when it will expire.
Without batches the data for each delivery is not stored anywhere and so NO report can be produced.

Field name                                Field value
Material                                Enter the material code to which the report is desired.
Plant                                Enter the plant in which the report is to be generated.
Storage Location                     Enter the storage location in which the report is to be generated. Optional entry. Leave it blank.
Batch                                 Batch number to be displayed. Optional entry. Leave it blank.
Remaining shelf life           Minimum amount of time for which the material must keep upon goods receipt for the goods receipt to be accepted by the system. Optional entry.
Remaining shelf life warehouse     Indicates that the remaining shelf life of a batch in
Total remaining shelf life         Indicates that the system displays the total remaining shelf life of a batch.
The total remaining shelf life is calculated from the shelf life
Expiration date minus the current date. Select this radio button.
     Indicates that the system also displays materials with zero stock. Optional, leave it blank.
     Display of remaining shelf life in days. Select this radio button to display the remaining shelf in days in the report.

Report with expiry date.

In MB51, I cannot find the expiry date for the batch.
Is there any report where I can find list of batch with PO and also the expiry date?

MB5M is the perfect report as suggested by jurgen.The criteria is, in Material master the plant data
storage view u have give the shelf life.It will work perfectly.Pl try.Give shelf life as one for the
material .Goto MSC2N and change the manfactured as 17/06/09 and press enter .The expiration date
will be calculated automatically by the system.Now goto MB5M the system will dislay the shelf life
expiration date.
Is there any report where I can find list of batch with PO-For this u can use MB51 report

Report of expiry dates for framework purchase orders

There is no standard report available to display the expiry dates for frame work orders.You can get the details from table EKKO and field is KDATE or U have to go for development.

Report for recieved, expiry dates of shelf life of materials

I did nt find the solution in MB5M, because i want report for shelf life of materials based on recived date, expiry date, please share.

When ever a material is having a shelf life , based upon the manyfactring date and the receiving date , the remaining shelf life can be found . If you want have a report which says the shelf life and receve date of a perticular batch and what should be the remaining shlef life or whather expired , once come into the plant , if not utilized , can be done through a ZREPORT or a query for the same .

From customize report to customise transaction code

I want to pass data from basic list (from my customize report) , when I double click, I want to call my z transaction code field and the field type is P length 8 decimals 2.and the data which i want to pass is also same data type.

CP6 Expiry date

I have several projects that I initiated under a trial version of Captivate 6 but have sense purchased the download and installed captivate. However, I'm still getting a project expiry date of one month from date of publish. I've edited my preferences (renamed the Captivate folder) but I'm still getting the same result. Any suggestions?

And you have looked at preferences to ensure the expiration has been disabled and re-published?
Have you made sure that you are current with service releases? (Click Help > Updates...)
If so, it would seem perhaps there is a bug and you should consider reporting it to Adobe.

I want to give users an option to make customize reports in my web application. So I need to confirm that SSRS reports are suitable for this option or something else I have to implement it.

If I understand you correctly, you are looking for an option that can allow users can create their own report on your web application, right?
Microsoft Reporting Services offers four report authoring environments:
Report Builder 3.0. Use this tool to design reports that are compatible with a SQL Server 2008 R2 report server by using the familiar Ribbon interface.
Report Designer. Use this tool in SQL Server 2008 R2 Business Intelligence Development Studio (SQL Server 2012 SQL Server Data Tool) to design full-function
reports that are compatible with a SQL Server 2008 R2 report server.
However, the authoring tools cannot be integrated into custom web application, so I am afraid there is no such an option to make customize reports in your web application.
If I have anything misunderstood, please point it out.

Notification of Expiry date of Contracts/AMC

Dear Guru's,
We have a following requirement,
Based on the Expiry date maintained in Contracts & AMC, We need to notify certain SAP user, 2 months in advance, about the expiry of these particular contracts. Is there any standard customization to generate any notification in such scenario??
Also we maintain Documents in DMS, Can we generate such mails based on a given date to notify any user, about the expiration of the document, licenses??
Well the above requirement is possible by development, my abapers have confirmed to me the same, i want to see if SAP has any customization already available.

AD Id Expiry date output

Hello All,
In our organisation, we have temp employee for whom we create a AD Id and set the user account expiry date of 45 days after creation of AD Id.
We have been asked to generate the list of temp employee on weekly basis whose AD Id is going to expiry in current week and need to send email notification, informing their AD id is going to expiry after "x" no.of days.
I was able to create a powershell to find, Can you please confirm if is it correct
Search-ADAccount -AccountExpiring |
Get-ADUser -Properties givenName,sn,userprincipalname,accountExpirationdate.

Constructing Customize Report - SCCM 2012 R2

Hello, everybody.
I have a great difficulty. My difficulty is when have to customize report.
Someone would have some stuff to help me, or tell me how do I start, how can I understand these "FROM, SELECT, and others .."?
Leveraging ... I need the following reports:
1 - I need a custom report metering software to bring me the following:
Hostname, User, Application Name, Full use, Version, Serial, Installation Date, Last Accessed
2 - I need a custom report that will bring the following:
Hostname, and Domain User.
There is a report hardware (Computer with a specific workgroup or domain) that I put%% and it shows me what I asked, but this only happens in SCCM 2007. In 2012 it will not let me put%% and forces me to choose a domain.

In order to get the report "Computers with a specific workgroup or domain" like it did in SCCM 2007 you would have to do the following:
1. right-click the report in SCCM 2012 and select edit. The report should be loaded in Report Builder 3.0
2. In Report Builder, expand Parameters, right-click
variable and then select parameter Properties
3. In the Report Parameters Properties window, click Available Values
and then select None and click OK
4. In Report Builder, click Run. You should now be able to input a wildcard in stead of choosing the domain or workgroup
5. Save the Report under a new name so you do not overwrite the original.

It is not a SCCM 2012 book but a lot of the Things that you learn will still be of great value when you author reports in SCCM 2012.
As for your wish for a custom Software Metering report that would be more complicated as I can see that your want serial in that report. I am guessing that you mean the serial number for the application and that is not collected by ConfigMgr 2012 by default.

Update secure zone expiry dates with an import

We are trying to update Secure Zone Expiry dates for customers via an import but the problem is when we create a report for Users and Secure Zones there is no field for 'Username' and from what I understand if we leave this blank when importing then the information will be deleted.

What a process this has been! Has anyone else found it difficult or is it just me?
Maybe there is an easier way, I'd love to know if that is the case.
If anyone is interested this was my experience in updating the Secure Zone Expiry dates for customers.
Export a report of all members (Select Users and Secure Zones) and filter by Secure Zone.
Export a report of all customers and make sure to select the field 'Username' (This is not available in the Users and Secure Zone report, how crazy is that!).
In Excel, merge the 2 reports to get usernnames for the members. Here is a good tutorial on how to do this Vlookup Excel Best - YouTube or Merge two excel files using a common column - Super User
After merging and cleaning up the data, copy to an import template and save as csv file.
Make sure that the date format in your Expiry dates are in the correct format ie 20-Feb-2020 (check in a text editor as excel can be tricky).
Import via advanced contact import and make sure to select the secure zone in checklist below or the date will not change.
Easy isn't it, ha.
If Adobe are listening, please add the 'Username' field to the Users and Secure Zone reports, this would save a lot of work.

Is the issue with this specific concurrent program?

Issue in Due date analysis report S_ALR_87012168

Hi Friends,
We have a strange issue regarding due date analysis report (S_ALR_87012168)...
When i execute this report it displays different amounts in "Not Due" column under 0-30 bucket. In 0-30 bucket, under not due column it shows 10,000 and under total open items column it shows 15,000. How it is possible?
