i have finished the retrieval process at client side using a url which is hardcoded ;
but dunno how to send from jsp without the client knowing the url.

Using Replacement Path in your Text and Formula variables, replace values held in a characteristic. The Characteristic value variables are replaced by the results of a query at run-time.

Hi,
there is a slight difference in between them.
When you select the Aggregation as Minimum then it will pass only the minimum values into the target.
Where as Exception Aggregation will be always based on some ref Characteristic, in this if you select the option as Minimum based on 0CALDAY Characteristic then it will show you the minimum values in the report but not in the target based upon the 0CALDAY Characteristic..
Aggregation will fetches the data into cube from PSA and exception aggr will fetches the data into report from cube.
just go through the example which was explained by some of our techie..
For Ex in PSA u have data like dis.
01.01.2007 1000
01.01.2007 2000 it will take only the minimum value into cube
In case if you have many records based on that particular date then it wont do the aggregation. Since you have chosen the ref char as 0CALDAY, there might be lot of records which have generated on the same day, so when you select this option then it wont do the aggregation and further it will place X in that area.

What are the roll and page areas ?- Roll and page areas are SAP R/3 buffers used to store user contexts ( process requests ) . The SAP dispatcher assigns process requests to work processes as they are received. If the work process is unavailable the process requests are queued in the roll and page areas.
Paging area holds data from the application programs.
Roll area holds data from previous dialog steps and data that characterizes user.

String Testing

Integration Testing
It is purely with other modules and we have to check whether the FI testing

together correctly.There are three types of integration testing.1. Big bang

Update Routine ... Help me Please--VERY URGENT

I Moving data from Cube to ODS . Let me explain abt the records in the cube .
There are 6 key figures in the cube as well as dimensions, UNIQKEY TRANSACTION is One Dimension and ARTICLE is another dimension which is having an Navigational attribute called CORE ELEMENT.
I am showing the data with those two dimension and the key figures which are to be used in the routine.

Now Lets see what the core element numbers mean,
core element 1 means -- fuel .
Core elemnet other 1 -- food .
I need to move these data into ODS Which will have an extra field called No of items in the transaction --ITEMS.For this i need to write a routine .
The Logic is ...
1.if Materail is of type 1(Means if the core element - 1)
I need to Populate the No of items in tnx = 1 .--ITEMS.
2.If Material is of type(Means if the core element)2or 3 I need to populate the billing quantity to the no of transcations.--ITEMS
3. If the Uniqkey tanscation contains two line items as suppose that you have 20 litres of fuel and 2 cans of coke, then No of Items in the transaction should be 3 and Billing Quantity in BUoM 22
billing quantity in BUoM = 20 litres for the first line item and 2 for the second line item...
then as the first line item is fuel, field No OF Items in the Transcation should be 1 (replacing the 20) + 2 = 3
so the final result in the ODS should be billing quantity in BUoM = 22 and The Items in the Transcation= 3
So the ODS Data should look like this.

While I am moving the data from cube to ods . I need to create the update rules with cube -- 8cube . WHen i am doing this the billqty is a key figure in cube so that is not a problem but the ITEMS is not there in the cube ,SO for that I need to write a routine to populate that one.
Its strange but the user what to analyse with the UNIQKEY transaction. And these objects will be added as navigational attributes to the Characteristic. as it acts as another dimension.
He wants to laod these from ODS to Master data -Characteristic.
to say for each transcation hpw many items are getting sold.

Best buy rewards card

Ok. I don't know where to start. But I would like to register my complain atleast some one to understand our -customer frustration. We went to best buy in harrisonburg virginia on 8 feb 2014 to buy samsung smart TV. The sales consultant was ok. We were talking abt F 7100 and F8000 and she was telling us there is not much difference except inbuilt camera and upgrading apps. But atlast my husband found one is dual core and other is 8000. Ok actually its not the issue. Bcz we were going to buy F series and we wanted to take advantage of 5% cash back, we want to make sure whats our limit since we hv nt used the card recently.We wanted to use best buy card and sales associate after trying our card said its expired and need to be applied newely. Time was close to 7.45 pm EST. Nikki the consultant did it online and at the end called citi bank and they wanted to talk to my husband after they talkd with him the rep fron citi bnk told Nikki of best buy to congratulate us bcz my husband aprcd to be platinum card holder with 6000 credit limit. We were happy and wanted to go for F 8000 and got 5 year protection plan all together around 3024 $ .Time was closer to 8.45 pm Est. Nikki was already getting restless. I dnt blame her bcz every ones nature will be the same around closing time. But when she tried to bill it .it came as the credit limit is only 750$. She tried two times and said its nt working. As we were concernd abt credit history we asked her to call citi bnk y it is like that. It took almost close to 2 hrs to resolve the issue from bnk side. We really nt happy with custmr service of citi bnk. And atlast their fault desk said SSN is keyed in wrongly from their side. But during that time Nikki was suportive and trying to redolve the issue. Manager josh was ok. Our point is my husband called citi bnk to file a complaint and he was in phone for 1 hr.After an hour they said SSN is keyed wrongly by best buy which I'm not sure. Bcz Nikki asked us to move from one side to another side secondary to key pad nt working. So I dnt know whether it could be BBY mistl. But my question is
1.if BBy did it wrongly when my husband spoke with bnk asdociate she asked for SSN how come their dydtem did not find it.ok
2. No matter what how the citi bnk approved it first time if SSN wrong
I have a 21 month old baby and he was crying and got fussy after 9pm. We live in staunton and drove 45 min to harrisonburg. When we came out of BBY it was close to 10.30 pm ESt then we drove home with hungry baby. CITI bnk just said to my husband its just a mistake and they can nt help it. And its BBy mistk. My husband spend 1 hr in phone with citi bnk suprvisor after we returned. Bcz we were very frustrated and tired. My husband felt so bad that he made me and my baby to suffer. More over our son was having cold and cough which worsen the situation.citi bank is not ready to answer for our frustration, time and how difficult was it with baby. We want to know wt BBY got to say abt this. My husband went to store again this morning bcz he had some work in there. And he explained abt his call to citibnk. BBY said they really don't hv anything to do with it. Hw come? If its nt for BBY product we would nt have applied for citi bnk card. Is it nt BBY duty to protect their customers? Above all this this morning the deal is changed that is yesterday we got a sound bar which is 349 $ but with F 8000 it is 80$ . But today for F 8000 you get samsung M7 spjr 349. $ completely free which is really disappointing us and me and my husband are really thinking abt returning the product as we have only set later this week for free delivery.
I hope atleast there shd be some one in BBY who understands our feelings, frustration and disappointment. I'm awaiting for a reply and nit just a sorry.

To send a mail when a new PO is created.
can be achievd by using class cl_bcs and BADI method
IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~POST of BADI ME_PEOCESS_PO_CUST.
We can aslo configure the OUTPUT TYPE as MAIL in transaction NACE. This is usually doen by the Functional consultant.

But just for convenience per say, you may call like below.
MARA :- Header level --( Client level data)
MARC,MARD,MBEW,MARM,MVKE :- Item level -- ( Organizational element level data).

Difference between Import and Export parameters in Function Module

I am unclear about the import and export parameters, when i create a function module. Can anyone explain abt this. However when i call the function module in any program the import parameters in Function module are displayed as exporting in program amd the export parameters as importing.
Any help on this would be appericiated.

Import parameter in FM is the value u provide to FM for processing.
export is the value u get from FM after processing.
when u call a FM in a progam the import parameter will appear as Export bcos u r giving value to the FM.
and u r getting value from FM in import parameter(bcos u r importing).
