I palyed with this some years ago.
It runs off the idea that if you run a signal through a filter
a) Only specific freq components of the signal will be passed.
b) A phase shift that is on the order of the filter is introduced.
When running the same signal through the same filter again,
a) The freq components that passed before are still passed but the componenets that were removed in the first passed are not present so they are not remove.
b) Another phase shift is introduced.
The zero pahse shift filter runs the signal through the filter (you pick your favorite flavor) and then the signal is reflected about the Y-axis effectively reversing time. THe revers signal is run through the filter a second time but now the phase shift is is in the oposite time direction. This effectively cancels out the original phase shift.
These are handy if you want to correlate a filtered event with an un-filtered event.
BUT
You do not get something for nothing (2nd Law of Theromdynamics).
In getting better phase information you loose signal info at the front end and back end of the waveform.

1     Purpose
To review the configurations in the building blocks, you can download the tables containing the relevant data for your configuration from a BC Set. You can find the BC sets in the master list document of the specific building block. The data is displayed in the SAP system using a specific function module. The displayed tables can be downloaded in different file formats.
And, you can go to the IMG from the BC set display screen.
2     Downloading Data Tables from BC Sets
Procedure
To download the tables from BC Set or several tables from a hierarchical BC Set, perform the following steps:
1.     On the SAP Easy Access screen, enter transaction code SCPR3.
2.     On the Business Configuration Sets: Display screen, choose   and select Select by Attributes.
3.     In the Select by Attributes dialog box, in BC Set ID, enter the hierarchical BC set or individual BC set whose tables you would like to download, and choose Execute.
4.     On the application menu bar, choose BC Set  Print
5.     In the BC Set: Overall View dialog box, select Display Data Records and Display IMG Path.
6.     Choose Display. The BC Set Overall View is displayed.
7.     If you want to go to the IMG from here, choose Implementation Guide and you are taken to the Display IMG screen.
8.     If you want to save a file, from the menu bar, choose List  Save/Send  File...
9.     In the Save list in file dialog box, select a format and choose Continue.
Result
The data tables are downloaded from BC sets.
3     Displaying IMG from the BC Set Display Screen
Procedure

Anyone can explain the details about the tcode MMBE

Dear All,
When running in the tcode MMBE, we may seen many different kind of stock status under different column, for example consgt. ordered, stck..(plnt) and so on..
My question is that i would like to understand which are the steps, order types, or movement types will impact to the stock status showing in the MMBE?

MMBE alwasy shows current stock
It shows you differnt stock type
suppose while doing MIGO my stock type is quality and qunatity 10 ,then in MMBE it will shows stock under quality stock type not unrestricted if you issue stock its will reduse stock
we cannot say its alwasy related to movement type 101 OR 201
suppose material is not stockable and consumable ,then you wont get stock in MMBE

It is talking abou the Special Features of InfoCubes in InfoSets.
For queries based on an InfoSet with an InfoCube, the system decides at runtime whether aggregates can be used for the InfoCube. This is the case if all the required InfoObjects of the InfoCube exist in an aggregate. The following InfoObjects are required:
The key figures of the InfoCube selected in the query
The characteristics of the InfoCube selected in the query
The characteristics required for a join with other InfoProviders in the InfoSet.
Furthermore, as a prerequisite for using aggregates, all the data required by an InfoCube must be readable using logical access. For an InfoCube within an InfoSet with InfoCubes, it is no longer possible to read part of the data from one aggregate and part of the data from another aggregate or the InfoCube itself.

To run a public VPN server behind an NAT gateway, you need to do the following:
1. Give the gateway either a static external address or a dynamic DNS name. The latter must be a DNS record on a public DNS registrar, not on the server itself. Also in the latter case, you must run a background process to keep the DNS record up to date when your IP address changes.
2. Give the VPN server a static address on the local network, and a hostname that is not in the top-level domain "local" (which is reserved for Bonjour.)
3. Forward external UDP ports 500, 1701, and 4500 (for L2TP) and TCP port 1723 (for PPTP) to the corresponding ports on the VPN server.
If your router is an Apple device, select the Network tab in AirPort Utility and click Network Options. In the sheet that opens, check the box marked
Allow incoming IPSec authentication
if it's not already checked, and save the change.
With a third-party router, there may be a similar setting.
4. Configure any firewall in use to pass this traffic.
5. Each client must have an address on a netblock that doesn't overlap the one assigned by the VPN endpoint. For example, if the endpoint assigns addresses in the 10.0.0.0/24 range, and the client has an address on a local network in the 10.0.1.0/24 range, that's OK, but if the local network is 10.0.1.0/16, there will be a conflict. To lessen the chance of such conflicts, it's best to assign addresses in a random sub-block of 10.0.0.0./0 with a 24-bit netmask.
6. "Back to My Mac" on the server is incompatible with the VPN service.

Custom fields of standard info types to be included in Info set query

Hi All,
I want to understand if the following scenario is entirely a fucntional config or ABAP efforts are also required.
A standard info type is already included in the Info set. But the (Z fields) in the Additional fields column of the IT are not visible in Info set for the respective info type.
I understand, with T-code SQ02 infotypes can be included in the existing info set, but not aware about the Z fields of a Standard Infotype.
Hence, please let me know, if there is any config which is required, so that they are reflected in Info set.

Make sure you have the infoset in edit mode.
if it is correct you see the addtional fields in the left half of the screen at the infotype.
Select the field group on the right half of the screen, go to the left half of the screen, select the field you want to add to the fieldgroup with right mouse click and select 'add field to fieldgroup'

I am checking the program code for one of our custom tcodes and i asked ABAP team to add authority check to the program code because there is no auth check in the code and abapers told me that the authority check is included inside the info set of the query and not in the program . the program is used to execute the query in the Tcode.

If you have the BI support roles assigned to you and the security admin roles please login to the BI system
execute transaction RSECADMIN, click on the analysis tab and execute as the user who is assigned the role with restrictions.
For variables in authorizations like ( type customer exit )
use RSECADMIN - maintain authorization tab - Click on value authorization tab.
Keytransaction is RSECADMIN & infoobject maintenance details you can get from RSD1.

"If you want to display a parameter only in certain cases, for example, depending on the values entered by the user in other input fields of the selection screen, you cannot use the NO- DISPLAY addition. If you use NO-DISPLAY, the parameter actually is an element of the interface for program calls, but not an element of the selection screen. As a result, you cannot make it visible using the MODIFY SCREEN statement. To hide a parameter that is an element of the selection screen, you must declare it without the NO-DISPLAY addition and suppress its display using the MODIFY SCREEN statement."
what is the meaning of this?

This is use a lot in programs which are submitted using the SUBMIT statement. Say that you have a program which runs as usally with a selection screen and nornal output, but you also have some logic built in there that needs to be execute when this program is not ran by the user with the selection screen, but submitted. You can use a PARMETER statement the selection screen and NO-DISPLAY to hide it when normal processing by the user. You could pass a value to the parameter when it is called via the SUBMIT statement. Does this make sense?

How to Mark join as left outer join in Info set

Hi Folks,
I have 2 info cubes in Info set, I need to mark the join as Left outer join.
I have read some blogs where is says that it cant be joined, but one of my colleagues has made left outer join using two cubes.
I want to replicate the same thing into my design.
If i normally connect one IO to another cubes same IO- its a normal join- its not written as left outer join. I want to see left outer join written on my link.
I tried global setting but no use.

Info-Set performance

Hi, all
I have a little problem with requests on my info-set. Info-set inner joins two ODS-objects 0FIAR_C03 and ZC03_ODS on 0BILL_NUM. 0FIAR_C03 contains key fields:
0COMP_CODE, 0DEBITOR, 0FISCPER, 0FISCVARNT, 0AC_DOC_NO, 0ITEM_NUM,0FI_DSBITEM and index OBILL_NUM.
ZC03_ODS contains key fields: 0COMP_CODE, 0DOC_NUMBER, 0DELIV_NUMB, OBILL_NUM, 0DOC_CLASS. And then I filtered my request,for example, by 0DOC_NUMBER I was waiting for the result half an hour. But with no result. But then I filtered by OBILL_NUM, I've get the result for half a minute.
PS: ZC03_ODS ~ 1000000 records
0FIAR_C03 ~ about 700000 records

ODS indexes are like normal tables. If you have not defined any index, then there will be a primary index on the key fields of the ODS.
To analyze in detail, turn on SQL trace and run the query. In the trace results you should get the execution path with the index used, if any.
