Explorer doesn't show flash

hi,
a very baffling issue: flash banners I designed for two site
only play part (...) of the animation in one of them an doesn't
play any animation in the other (but the banner itself does show).
the problem occours on some computers and on some it doesn't
- all while browsing with Internet Explorer 7.
why? what? how?

NOTE: Just discovered that Adobe is making a bigger mess than any previously.
They now have a 32-bit uninstaller for Flash '''''AND''''' a separate 64-bit uninstaller for Flash. You will need the 64-bit uninstaller for what you had installed above.

Bug report: Website doesn't show flash data with version 11.4

A website I've used for years no longer shows any data with the new version of Flash Player; I see a spinning "loading" wheel instead, which never stops spinning. Others using the site are having the same problem.
I have removed 11.4 and installed 10.3 and all is well again.
Website: gmws.edupage.org/timetable (the school schedule I administer). A timetable should appear, and clicking on "teacher", "class", etc. should give a dropdown list of options. (Try under 10.3 and you will see the correct behavior.)

I've now fixed the timetable so it is using a non-Flash version. To see the problematic behavior, you will now have to navigate to gmws.edupage.org/timetable, and then click on the icon at the top of the page which says "2012-2013 final schedule easily viewable" (this is the non-Flash version). From the dropdown list that appears, choose the Flash version of the timetable, "2012-2013 final schedule (07/27 -..." and you will see the spinning wheel under 11.4, a proper school schedule under 10.3.

Internet Explorer doesn't handle Flash Form on a single page

On FireFox 2.0.0.12 (Linux), the attach code displays two
accordions.
On Internet Explorer 7 (Windows XP), only one accordion is
displayed.
First, How do I determine if this Internet Explorer or a
Flash error?

Hi,
Which version of CF you are using there?.. If this is because
of any recent migration (like from MX7 to 8) then try replacing the
"Scripts" directory from CF8 with the one you have with MX7.

Xcode WebView doesn't show Flash Player content

I am building a simple OS X coaco app with a WebView, which is working, except Flash content is blank. Plugins are enabled.
What am I doing wrong?

i build for 64bit architecture and using sdk 10.9,
and then i found that if i use sdk10.8 it works perfectly..

Project explorer doesn't show callers for .rtm (run time menu) files (is this a confirmed bug?)

Maybe I was to quick to report this as a bug... I was unable to find anything related to it at my normal sources of information. Does someone has exeperience with it?

When a library (.lvlib) that contains a file with a run-time-menu (.rtm) file is removed from the project, but there is still a file that uses this .rtm file, both the .lvlib and all of it's vis and the .rtm file are displayed in the project Dependencies.
For the Vi's the callers can be found by 'Find->calllers'. For the .rtm file this always results in 'No items found' but the .rtm file remains in the Dependencies (as it should since it is still used).
Finding the .rtm file can be hard since it is only loaded at run-time and not at edit time(?). If someone encounters this issue, a working method:
- rename the rtm file (so it cannot be found)
- open the vis that you suspect are using this file AND try to edit the run-time menu. When this vi uses the run-time menu a warning will appear (cannot load rtm file, using default menu instead)

thank you for your reply. It seems that a while back this problem has been reported to our R&D group. The request (CAR) has ID; 41579. There is the following statement in this CAR: the caller vi is in memory or not. When a caller vi is in memory, rtm files will currently never report the vi as a caller. This confirms the behavior you are seeing.
I'm sorry to say I don't have a solution at this moment, at this moment they are busy fixing this problem. You can look this up in future release notes by searching on the CAR ID I mentioned.

Folder of Adobe Flash CS4 under Applications doesn't show the Flash logo

I migrated to my new Mac from an old Mac in which I had previously installed Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium which includes Adobe Flash CS4 Professional. After I did that, all the files for the Adobe softwares were in blue and wouldn't work so I reinstalled the DVDs again. All my folders show the logos that correspond to the softwares located in each folder except for the Adobe Flash CS4 Professional which is still in blue. When I click on it to open the software, it works, but it shows this message:
Error initializing Java Runtime Environment. You may need to reinstall Flash. Click OK
It works, but it bugs me that all the other softwares show the logos except for Flash. I tried to run the DVD #1 again, but when it shows all the softwares that you can click on to install, it doesn't show Flash.
Does anyone know how to fix that problem?

Windows ME Explorer doesn't find MuVo TX

This player probably needs to be formatted (Yep, I unplugged it without clearance. Getting feeble.)
Media Source recognizes it and lets me put some .mp3s on it but after about 00 megs on a 52 player it gives me errors.
I get the icon in the tray to shut it down, which seems to function normally. An attempted DOS format didn't work.
Sometimes I get an error 0 in Windows -- not present or not working properly.
Is there another way to format it's Or is there a way to get Explorer to find it's

Thank you, SSR. That got my player formatted and eliminated the transfer problem.
Windows Explorer still doesn't show the player but Mediasource works properly. I think the Explorer problem is that the computer sees a USB mass storage device category (Explorer doesn't show this either) with the player ( which is the H: dri've) under it (so says device manager). A minor inconvenience and an OS problem rather than MuVo.

Your flash drive won't show up in iTunes, look for it in Windows Explorer, it will probably be labelled Removable Drive.

After downloading adobe flash it doesn't show up on my computer!

I keep downloading flash and it says it has been downloaded succesfully but when I go to find it on my computer it doesn't show up anywhere. I'm trying to watch videos and cant because it says I need to download flash but for some reason it isn't working. My computer runs on windows 7.

I have to say i'm super frustrated with this as well. I flushed the computer clean so once reloading a bunch of stuff back on the computer adobe flash player was one of the things I had to put back on. The reader went on fine saved to my desktop ok. The flash player is far from as simple to get on there as you'd think. At least not smoothly. I use windows 7 (Interet explorer 9) and avast. It "says" it installs sucessfully yet the only place I can find it when it was SUPPOSED to be saved to the desktop is in the uninstall programs list. I think its installed on my computer now after checking a bunch of forums and trying different things (diasabling this and that) to try to figure out whats going on. SWF files doesn't show in flash

I converted some videos into swf files. I opened them in flash player and they all look fine, but when I imported one in flash and put it in the scene the only thing visible was a small white circle, like the one that appears at the center of the objects when you select them. It couldn't be moved, it could barely be selected and it doesn't show up when testing the movie. I have the suspicion that they don't work because they were not originally made in flash, since I have worked with swf files in flash before, but those were banners previously made in flash.

video files should be played in flash using the flvplayback component (or using the netstream class), not converted to swfs. ie, create a fla, add an flvplayback component to your stage and, in the properties panel, assign the component's source to be your video file. (use a relative path.)

XML shows in Flash, but doesn't show on server?

Hello.
I have a Flash website with 5 sections (Featured Work, News, About Me, Services, Contact). All the sections works fine, both in Flash and on the server, if the content isn't loaded from XML. But in the News section i use XML for loading the news.
If i test my movie in flash, the whole site works fine, and the XML News works perfect. But if i test the movie in a virtual server (like MAMP) or if i test it on my own server, the news section doesn't show.
I can't seem to find the problem?

I tried pasting the trace(MT2.newsNum,Number(MT2.newsNum)) in both out and in the for loop, and i still get the same trace "5 5"
I'm not really sure what to do, so i'll just try explaining my whole site to you:
I have my "main.fla" with three layers with actionsscript:
- Navigation Actions
     - Has a for loop that creates 6 textfields with clickevents and SWFAddress that changes between 6 frames in a MovieClip (SubNavBar).
- Positioning Actions
     - Positions the textfield buttons, the navigation bar, and the sub navigation bar in the SubNavBar movieclip, and places my dynamic background.
- XML
     - I can't explain the XML layer, so i have attached it.
The SubNavBar MovieClip has 6 frames. The 1 is empty, so the site is clear at first. In frame 2, 4 and 6 there is a for loop like in the navigation layer, so these layers have a sub navigation bar, that once again changes between some frames in a movieclip.
In frame 3 their is the news code i pasted earlier, and in frame 5 there isn't anything yes, but it should just be graphics.

Flash plugin doesn't show the content, I wonder why.

when there is a page using text in a Flash part the plugin doesn't show it. For example the Page has some texts in a flash extension but I can't see the text at all.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Flash Player Doesn't Show Or Work

The Flash Player doesn't show or work in either MySpace or
YouTube. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but no use.
It worked fine the other day. How can this be resolved?
