Explorer.exe Error and can not RightClick anything Adobe

When I right click any folder on my desktop or start menu or if I type the letter v into my start search bar I get the error message Windows Explorer has stopped working. It does not offer me a solution and restarts explorer. I also randomly get the message C:\ProgramFile\Adobe\AdobeVersionCue\Client\VersionCue.dll Specified Module could not be found. From what I have read online, it has someting to do with the adobe creative suite. The only Adobe I have had was a trial version of CS3 when I took some digital media classes in college.
I do have an Uninstaller for CS in control panel. When I select it and click uninstall, nothing happens.
This is getting very annoying and I cant find anyway of fixing it. I read that it may be missing files, and downloaded the files that were said to fix the problem(version_cue_cs3_server_310) and (vc_cs3_client_310) when I run these it says installation unsuccesful, product could not be found.
I have no clue where to go from here, any help would be highly appreciated....

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, terminate the various Adobe associated processs in Task Manager, then get rid of the whole mess by deleting all Adobe folders. CS3 is simply not 100% compatible with Win 7/ Win 8 and ttempting to use VersionCue makes matzetrs worse. If you ever attempt to reinstall at all, disable those components.

    D Carey, sounds like you are having an issue with the Printer Toolbox software. However, I am going to need to know more information on what you are working with. What is the operating system you are working on and what is the particular model of printer that is experiencing the issue?     That is not normal. Very few apps are actually running in the background. What troubleshooting steps have you taken? Have you reset the phone by simultaneously pressing the Home and power buttons until the apple appears? Restored from back up? Restored as new?

  • Windows 8.1 issue explorer.exe error on shutdown NOT resolved and painfully slow bootup

    Hi,
    I have a brand new HP Pavilion Laptop with Windows 8 64bit. I just downloaded the free update to 8.1. And then problems started. 
    First off, the boot up time has almost doubled. Just before the desktop becomes visible, there is a 10 second period where all you see is a black screen. At times this is more than 10 seconds. Then the desktop wallpaper can be seen.
    Secondly, the most annoying problem-, everytime I shutdown or restart , I get an explorer.exe error saying memory cant be read some instruction referenced memory at 0x00000000. ?! What the h-- is this ? I mean is this what we expect to see after updating to
    Windows 8.1 ? This is ridiculous. There is no offical response from the developers either. This is affecting many people all over the world and there is not even any official patch or announcement ? 
    I have read similar posts here and none of the solutions work. Someone says edit the registry, someone says remove the bluetooth service from startup ?! nothing and stopping a bluetooth service should not be considered a solution. Why should I not be able
    to use bluetooth just to resolve this Windows 8.1 error ??
    Please fix this problem urgently. And DO NOT ask us to re-install windows... I mean come on.. You think people have nothing better to do than installing/reinstalling Windows throughout the day ?? Bandwidth does not come cheap everywhere in the world either.
    Please release a patch or some guidelines on fixing this problem ASAP.

    This is what they say. And I clicked on the Windows Store Icon >> Then I clicked on the Upgrade to Windows 8.1 Tile >> Then I clicked Download Windows 8.1 Update ( over 3 GB ) waited for a couple of days >> Then clicked next a bunch of
    times >> Selected some options that it asked me >> Then waited some more >> some more waiting >> and in 2 weeks I had upgraded to Windows 8.1 >> Then the above PROBLEMS started...

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
    If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
    Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

    I'm sorry to say that I'm confused by what you are trying to explain.
    The recovery drive is giving an error. What error are you getting?
    You can not delete the recovery drive so that is not something you want to do as it's what is used to recovery your computer in case you have to do a complete system recovery.
    How does your printer play into this?
    Turn off repair drive that was downloaded? Did you download software? 
    What model computer are you using?
    What operating system?

    Below is the translation of the error.  It looks like you made a simple application called Hello that called a dll named Maple.  Maple is probably a form since the error is being created in an unload method. Is the error occuring when you close
    the form or is the error occuring while the form is executing?
    Was the dll added to your project as a reference or are you calling the dll as a library call using Marshal?  If you added the dll as a reference you should be able to debug the code like any other code provided you have the source project.  You
    should of added the dll to your project by browsing to the project where it was built taking the dll from the debug folder.  Doing this allows VS studio to get the source code.
    If the code wasn't added by reference then you need to create a log file inside the Maple.dll to output debug messages to a file or add message boxes that gives information to help solve the issue.  You also may want to add additional exception handler

  • I have a problem with HP ToolboxFX and the encountered an error and can not recover error msg.

    Restarting the software and/or the computer do not fix the error.  I have installed the new firmware in my CP2025dn Color Laser it now has version 20110212 firmware.  The error msg reports: windows version Win32NT-6.0.6002.131072 and HP Toolbox FX version 004.012.00146.  I am running the printer on my wireless router.  My computer is a Dell Studio with Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 - 64 bit OS.  My wife's older laptop with WIN XP is not having a problem with Toolbox.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Toolbox on my computer today also.  Where do I look next?  Thank you!!!

  • Artist spent alot and can not get anything to work

    I thought it would be strait forward; but it is more like a backwards tango!
    OK, I can't get the media once down loaded from my cam to load into final cut.
    I have a JVC GZ-HD7U that records in Mpeg2 and when I down load from the cam to my desk it reads Mov00?.TOD. When I import this to Final it reads " unknown file format ( I may be off on the wordage;I am bit madddd at the moment)
    Maybe there is some one out there using the same set up as me? What would be cool, is you have a easy answer.
    My new MacBookpro has Quicktime and Jvc I did their thing to this plus Final cut offered a down load of it. You would think after all this and how much I have spent I could take over the world with this program; but oh no, I even tried ctrl clicking the media I downloaded in Quicktime (the only place I could view it but do nothing with it) and saved it as a QT movie.
    Then after converting it to quick time media; but no where near the 3.6 GB I downloaded, Did it load into final cut. Then once there no image, nothing, zip, nota, ssooooo confused.!!!
    I have watched the dvd tutorial and read the pdf etc. Still lost
    If any one can help or direct me in there right direction, I would be relatively thank for a long time!!
    Why doesn't final cut load and read TOD or work with QT from it. What a waist. I am not any where near Rich and could return this all now due to the way I feel and i am in my 30 day period with it all.....a darn shame

    Unfortunately, Ian is correct. Your options at this point are
    1) return the camera for a tape-based one (best option if you can)
    2) search the discussions at length to see if anyone else has found a workaround
    3) buy iLife 08 and use iMovie to import your clips, then transfer them from iMovie to FCE. iMovie 08 has the ability to capture off card-based cameras.
