Explorer.exe keeps restarting randomly

Question

My Explorer.exe will randomly restart. when it does i get the following event log under Application in the event veiwer:

It is always the same error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my anti-virus software run multiple sfc scans.
My system specs are as follows:
i7-4770K
32Gb of DDR3 Memory
Nvidia GTX 780ti
1TB SSD HDD
Windows 7 64-bit

Hello bwbutler,
Is this issue still exist when the AVG is removed?
If so, this issue is caused by the AVG.
If the issue still exists when the AVG is removed, please try to use clean boot.
If the issue doesn’t exist in the clean boot, please check the third-party software.
