Yes this sounds interesting. Can I update to that from the PDF Export I have just renewed? How much would that cost?
Thanks for your quick answer.

Exporting a pdf into an editable word doc on iPad
I need someone to walk me thru the process to export a pdf into a word doc for editing on an iPad. Please?
The OCR is very dependent on the quality of the scan. You might try testing with various scanning options on a sample page. Typically 300 dpi is the minimum for OCR, but some folks like 600 dpi. If the page is clean, with no dust or other imperfections and the text is crisp, you should be able to do reasonably well. It is probably best to run the corrections steps after the OCR (looking at suspects) and editing appropriately.
The conversion to WORD should not be expected to be real clean in terms of retaining format. You need to look to using style sheets in WORD to simplify the format fixes. Then run the spell check and grammer checker (you might end up with a better document than you started with). There is not a lot more you can do with Acrobat.
You do have the options of ClearScan and Searchable Text. In one version of Acrobat, ClearScan used some strange fonts (not system fonts) that did not convert well to WORD. I was able to get a better result with Searchable Text in that case. I have not played with OCR that much, and so am just giving some comments of things I have run into. -

I downloaded the adobe XI software and it shows in my Adobe download assistant as downloaded but I can not open it and it is not a part of my applications. Very frustrating download process as I just want to convert a PDF file to an editable word document...
Odonnells52 you will still need to install Adobe Acrobat Professional prior to being able to make edits to PDF or utilize Acrobat. By default the installation files have been saved to your download folder.
If you continue to face difficulties with the Adobe Download Assistant then please see Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant.
You can also download the installation files directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X if you are unable to locate the downloaded installation files. -
Have converted pdf file into a word document. How do I engage the edit option?
Have converted pdf file into a word document. How do I engage the edit option?
jnicholasperkins@Not stupid you! To, from PDF--it gets confusing!
To edit a PDF file, you need to use Acrobat. Depending on how much work needs to be done to the PDF, it may make sure sense to edit in Word, and then reconvert to PDF. Acrobat doesn't function as a word processor, so while limited changes to the text should be fine, extensive updates may not yield the results you're looking for.
That said, if you don't have Acrobat, you are welcome to try it for free for 30 days. For more information, see www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

ExportPDF - to editable Word document
Purchased subscription to take PDFs and convert them into an editable Word document. I find I cannot edit the converted document for things like font size, etc. Am I doing something wrong?
Unfortunately our ExportPDF service doesn't support Hebrew text. You can vote for this feature in here: http://forums.adobe.com/ideas/1554 We use the Ideas section to help prioritize features.

Saving a PDF file to a Word Document
Can someone please tell me how to save a PDF file as a word document? When I do a "save as" with the doc extension, a window pops up that says, "Save as failed to process this document. No file was created." Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you. I have attached the document that I am trying to save as a word
document. Please let me know if you are able to save it as a word document.
It should work unless there is an issue with the PDF itself. Can you post
the
PDF?
Also, keep in mind that saving to a Word doc from a PDF is far from foolproof.
Here's an article that can explain it better than me (along with some good
tips).

I want to create and or edit word documents stored in the operating system whose name (and path) is stored in the database. I have a form with a field of the doc name, how can I call word with the file name?
I've never used OLE before so be specific.
ThanksI've never used OLE before so be specific. So you know what to use. Look at Forms Help. There is no better place for this. You will get examples there.
But Remember If you are using Forms on WEB this will give problems as OLE is not supported on WEB.
