Export all paragraphs in one style
There's bound to be a simple scripting solution for this...
I've got a bunch of paragraphs defined as "Definitions" spread throughout a document. I need to extract omly those paragraphs and put them in a separate document.
I'm staring at the ExportAllStories script, but my scripting abilities are close to zero. Does anyone know of a pre-existing script?
I took this over to the scripting forum. I'm attempting to Frankenstein a few existing scripts, but can only get so far.

EXP: Export all tables for one user except the contents of one table
I need to export all tables (> 100 Tables) of an user except the contents of one table. Is there a possibility to call the EXP command and exclude the one table ??

The datapump task itself can be started from a client, but - you are right - datapump is server-based. Especially that refers to the dumpfile location, which has to be defined as DIRECTORY on the server:

Hi, I've been searching for this as I know it's been asked before, but I haven't had any luck finding it yet: Wasn't there a script that someone developed which would allow you to export all stories from an InDesign document into a single RTF file? Or is that wishful thinking....

How to export all tracks in one aiff?
I have a very simple multi-track project. It's just two people talking. One of them is on track 1, the other on track two. I want to export this project as an aiff and be able to hear both tracks. So far, every time I export the "master mix" I'm only getting track 1. Track 2 doesn't come out at all.
Ideally, I would be able to create a mix wherein I'm not hear track 1 on the left stereo speaker and track 2 on the right speaker. I'd like each track mixed together so that I'm hearing each voice on both the left and right channels.Julian, are you hearing what you desire when you play the project? Because an export of the mix should sound the same as what you get on playback.
If you have 2 tracks in the project. The panning on both channels is 0 or in the center. The submix output is stereo. The File > Export > Exported items is Master Mix. Then the result should be a stereo file with both of your audio tracks equally on both sides of the stereo master file. This would then sound like it is coming from the center of your 2 speakers.
The mixer is accessed a few ways. If you have the lower pane open (Control-S), there is a tab for mixer. Or maybe try toggling between the normal view F1 and the other view F2 which has a separate mixer window. -
Export all sequences into one quicktime?
I'm sure it's something silly I'm overlooking...but I'll ask nonetheless.
I have 6 sequences, each of varying length. How do I "join" all the sequences for an export to a single movie file? Surely I can't be stuck exporting each in turn. Otherwise, how will I be able to create a quicktime rough for importing into Sound Track and subsequent scoring?thanks so much, Tom - that did the trick after a bit of confusion over what can be dragged and dropped. I didn't realize I could drag and drop the individual sequences into the timeline of a new sequence. I was trying to drag the sequences into the icon for a new sequence in the browser.

ADF Faces Export - All to CSV dose not export the table correctly

I followed the source code of this demo site( http://rcf.us.oracle.com:9008/faces-12.1.2.0.0/faces/components/table.jspx) to create two buttons to export a table to CSV file, one is to export all rows and one is to export the selected rows.
The problem is the export all will generate a html file which dose not have the table content and the selected one works nicely except when I selected all rows than click export selected, it also generates the same html file as export all. The exception at the log on weblogic server and my source code are as below. Thank you!

Normally i work on my macbook pro and send the wav files to a engineer to be mixed in Protools.
My query is that when iam doing this should i bounce all the tracks individually using the Bounce button or should i do it using the export all tracks as audio files function.
I observed that when i bounce tracks individually the waveform looks more powerful which is a little weaker when i export....Tell me what s right for me;;; ManiThe "Export ALL tracks as audio files" was added a few versions back for the very reason you are wanting to use it.
It creates a contiguous audio file that starts at bar 1, beat 1, and can be imported into any other DAW platform. The export function bounces the audio file at unity gain, which is ideally what you want when sending files to a mix engineer.
Export bypasses any volume or other automation that you might have been using as well. Again, preferable to the scenario you're doing here, as a mix engineer will want to do his/her own automation and processing. Although you have the option of adding that in the export if you desire.
Plug-ins are rendered as well, but you do have the option of bypassing them when exporting. Finally, exporting allows you to export ALL tracks in one go. Bouncing, on the other hand, bounces THROUGH the stereo outputs, rendering any plug-ins that you have inserted on your stereo outputs to the bounced audio file, and is generally used for your final mixdown, or submixed tracks/stems, as it renders any tracks running through the main outputs as a SINGLE stereo audio file.
So all that to say, the EXPORT feature is what you want to use for sending tracks to another DAW for mixing. -
Script to change language to all Paragraph Styles?
Is there a script out there that will change the language of all styles in a document? I frequently need to take US English files with multiple folders of styles and convert them for Canada English and French. Find/replace language does well enough for one-off use but I would like to clean up file as I go for future use without going through each style one and a time.

How do you select all paragraphs using the same style in Pages 5.2?
I'm trying to find how to select all paragraphs using the same style in Pages 5.2 without any success. I writing a book and I need to able to adjust all my paragraph styles globally. I see how upgrade my paragraph style when I do something new, but not how to revert back to the orginal template.
For example, in my custom template for my book I have 12 font for a review questions paragraph style. I changed the font size for all this paragraph style to 18 font. Now I want to change it back to size 12 font. But I have this paragraph style at the top and bottom of my document. How to I select all of my review questions style so I can make the font change to all at the same time?
I just upgrade to Pages 5.2 from Pages '09.

How to export all the projects at one time
I got about 20 projects and content about 7000 pics. I don't want to just export project each time, and I would like to just export all of them at one time, is it possible?
I don't know where and how to change the name of the master files, and how to organize them properly. Such as I dragged pics from one project to another album, but if I try to delete the pic in the project, it warns me I will delete the master file as well. In the end, I have so many unwanted pic in the project and I can't delete them. Please help with the organizing ...Let's start from the whole story. I got too many photos and too many project which taken too much spaces in my computer. So I want to delete those not too good ones and only keep a few in my laptop. On the other hand, some of those not too good ones I want to keep as well. So I use time machine to back up them, but it seems time machine only keep them for about 3 months. In that case, if I delete them, I don't think I would be able to find them after 3 months time.
I am thinking about exporting them to an external hard drive as an extra backup.
Now, another part of the story, I was exploring Aperture, setting up different projects, album and dragging the pics around, then everything becomes a mess. I notice that if I drag a photo from project A to B, then the photo will only appear in B but disappeared in A. But if I drag photo from Project C to album D, both of them would have the pic, delete the pic either in the project or the album, it will warn me that I will delete the master file... I don't know how come.
Therefore, puzzled by where and how they store the master file and how they referenced it, I am here. -
