Export all user security profiles at once

Is there a way to export all of the e-sourcing user profiles at once?
Thanks for your help,
Jerry

You posted here with Firefox 9.0.1, is that the version you are using on that test PC? <br />If so, update to Firefox 10.0.1 and see the new ''(as of 10.0)'' first start after a program update routine. Mozilla changed the add-on compatibility check that kicks in when the Firefox version number has changed. It's probably going to make your issue worse, time wise, after a Firefox program update.
As far as updating all the Profiles at the same time, '''LastVersion''' data is kept in the '''compatibility.ini''' file in each Profile - ''LastVersion=10.0.1_20120208060813/20120208060813'' - Firefox checks that file each time the Profile is used. When the version number currently being launched doesn't match the saved pref, it triggers the "updated" routine (but it works for the version used being older or newer than the pref).
The only thing I can think of is to run a '''batch''' file to update the '''LastVersion''' value change in all the Profiles that weren't used for receiving the Firefox update, to match the new LastVersion.

  • How to set Max Rows Retrieved by user security profile in CMC?

    Hi
As we know, it is possible to set Max Rows Retrieved with query property (in the area 'Limits').
However, it is mentioned in official documents that this setting can be overwritten by the BOE administrator in user security profile. Could any one tell me how this is done in CMC?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Rishit,
    Thanks for your answer!
Had a long holiday, so didn't give a feedback in time. Sorry for that!
There is a tab 'Controls' in Universe Parameter, where there is a setting used to limit the size of result set.
Then what's the priority between this setting and the similar setting in WebI query properties?
However, acutally my question is how to set the limitation by user security profile in CMC.
Do you have any idea about it?

  • User export does not export all users....

    Hi all,
    EP60 SP2 P4 HF8. Datasource is Database.
I'm exporting all users via the Export/Import iview in the User Administration role. However, the export file only shows part of all the users, not all. SAP Note 801393 descibes this problem exactly, but the proposed solution does not work either.
    Any ideas?
    Kind regards

    Hi,
    I've got the same issue.
When using the export function from the portal, the user list is not complete.
The stream seems to be cut off when too many users need to be exported(Length/size issue)?
    Did someone find a solution?
    Thx,

  • Exporting all users

    OEL 4
    Oracle 10g
    Hi
I want to export all the users (with rows=n )except system is there a single command to do this??
What i intend to do is to create same users in a test as in production.
    Thanks

    Hello,
As you are in 10g, you may use also the Datapump:
    expdp <user>/<password> FULL=Y DIRECTORY=<directory> DUMPFILE=<file>.dmp LOGFILE=<file>.log CONTENT=METADATA_ONLYPlease find enclosed a link about Datapump:

  • Export all user's schema , without One

    Dear Friends ,
I am running Oracle 10g in my production server . Here I have near about 20 user/schema . Now I want to export data from 19 user without 1 user , i.e., I just take export 19 users only . Is it possible to do ? Is there any script to do this ?

    Hi,
    >>Is it possible to do
Yes it is. If you want to use a old export version you must use the OWNER clause.
exp system/password owner=user1,user2,user3,user4,user5... file=test.dmpNow, as you are using Oracle 10g, you can use the SCHEMAS clause in the new expdp (Datapump). So, I advise you to take a look either at [url  http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14215/dp_overview.htm#i1009203]Overview of Oracle Data Pump or [url http://www.orafaq.com/wiki/Datapump]Datapump Faq

  • Single firefox profile across all users and profiles on networks

I'm in the process of setting up Firefox as the standard browser for an entire building, and part of this is ensuring that everyone's firefox profiles are saved to personal network drives as opposed to the local machines. I can use the profile manager to do this on a user-to-user basis, but what if I want all the users of any machine to use the same firefox profile that points to a specific network drive? (This will ensure users always have their browser settings and such regardless of where they access them, allow us to switch machines out without losing anyone's browser settings, etc. The contents of this drive are specific to the user account, but always have the same path.)
As far as I can tell, profiles created in the profile manager are specific to each (domain) user, which would mean an awful lot of manual profile creation. Is there some way to ensure Firefox always uses a specific Firefox profile or path? Is there some way to have firefox check which profiles exist (in a .bat file, for example), so I can create the proper one if needed? Can I use a command line to set which profile to use by default, or can that only be done from the profile manager GUI?
Finally, and this one may warrant a separate query, but I've found that when using profiles that point to a network drive, trying to open firefox on multiple computers will fail (another instance of firefox is open, close it or restart). Can I tell Firefox to force the old instance closed, or will I have to firefox.exe -no-remote -p "differentProfile" every time?
We're on Windows 7, by the way, for references' sake.

We just deploy images, so everyone should have firefox already, but we're pretty good about keeping all data on mapped network drives instead of letting windows save things locally, so I'm trying to find the best way to integrate Firefox in that system as well.
Every user has a network domain account, which can be accessed from anywhere in the building. While mostly people use their own computers, due to the nature of the place, that is often not the case, and several people will need to sign on to the same machine on a given day.
If there are command-line ways of checking for firefox profiles, I can have them run in our logon script to ensure everyone always has access to their personal profiles, but I'm not sure the best way to go about that, yet. I suppose that's the main part of my second question--what is the cleanest way to check for and create/map/assign firefox profiles automatically?

  • Is it possible to export alle he VPN Settings at once?

    Hallo
I have about 40 VPN Settings. I know that it is possible to export the individually, but I would like to know if I can copy them all at once to a second computer? I don't want to lose the paramet like IP, ID an Password.
    Regards
    Gérard

    Cheers pal.
I'm currently using a 'batch process' in Acrobat Pro on all my Print PDFs (to convert to online PDFs). Guess I'll stick with that then.
Was hoping there would be something magic I could do when making the original PDFs from InDesign.

  • 11g upgrade script gen_inst.sql fails to export all users

I'm trying to upgrade a database from 10g XE to 11g XE; however, the upgrade script gen_inst.sql that's included with the installation media fails to include all of the database users in the sql file it generates. Out of 33 users, only 3 are included in the ws.sql file that is created. I can't seem to find any difference between the users that are included and those that are missed, all have the same roles and default tablespaces, but I'm new to Oracle XE so I might be missing something. Does anyone know why the script might miss certain users?

The homepage says its Application Express 2.1.0.00.39.
If I'm understanding this correctly there should still be more than 3 schema owners, for example when I run the query "select distinct owner from dba_tables" I see the rest of the users that I was expecting.
When I imported the data onto the 11g server (using impdp) I can see in the logs that it's importing the other schemas (e.g. imported "MP_DOC"."TEXT" ... in this case MP_DOC does not show up in the list of workspaces or users after running the install.sql script, but MP_DOUG does, and from what I can see they both should be there).
My apologies if I'm not being clear or understanding this right.

  • Export - custom queries and reports, and security profiles

We would like to keep a copy of our customizations to the application.
There are ways to import queries, reports and profiles into the app.  Is there any way to export the following to something like a CSV file for the following:
    - custom queries (all tabs)
    - custom reports (all tabs)
    - security profiles (custom and out of box u2013 all access rights)
    Thanks,
    Jerry

    Jerry,
There are no standard queries that extract security profiles, Query Groups, Reports or Query Defintiions from the system.
However you can build custom queries that support this functionality.  During an implementation project I created some custom queries which allowed you to extract these objects for documenting purposes  We likely could supply these to you through SAP Consulting.  Please reach out to your SAP rep and have them Contact Me.  I have created some instruction that explain how to create these.

  • Security profiles attached to an User

    Hi Gurus,
Can anyone Help me out with the process to know, What all Security profiles are attached to an user in Oracle Apps HRMS.
    or
any query available to know, What all Security profiles are attached to an user in Oracle Apps HRMS.
    Thanks in Advances

You can use the following query to look for all the security profiles. You can join the hr_operating_units to fnd_profile_option_values.level_value to get the desired result.
    SELECT psp.security_profile_name,
           psp.security_profile_id,
           hou.NAME,
           hou.organization_id
      FROM per_security_profiles psp,
           per_security_organizations pso,
           hr_operating_units hou
    WHERE pso.security_profile_id = psp.security_profile_id
AND pso.organization_id = hou.organization_id;Additionally, you can also have a look at the below MOS docs.

  • Unable to see/Export All existing users of  MSAD-Shares Services

    Hi Dear all !
Please help me to resolve an issue.
I have configures shared services in MS Active directory and it users.
but problem is that i m unable to see all users in User list in shared services under active directory.while i click n "show all" option its showing only 4 pages of records.
but if i m searching a user which is not displaying in those pages , i got that user..
Also while exporting the user list i have only users which are displaying in user list (in 4 pages)..not all users details are exported.
Please, anybody let me know the solution !!
    Thank you.
    vivek

If you really want to export all users from MSAD, then you should probably be looking into MSAD/LDAP utilities for that purpose. If what you really mean is that you want to export all user and group assignments that you've set up in Shared Services, then take a look at the Lifecycle Management or CSSExport utilities.

  • Mapping Apps security profiles in Discoverer

    Hello
We wish to implement a 2-tiered security architecture. We already have the 1st tier in place in Disco Admin by assigning specific Business Areas to responsibilities.
However, we also want to use the Apps custom Security Profiles to restrict access to tables and views through Discoverer Admin.
How can this be implemented? Any examples would be most welcome.

  • Deleting user status profile in equipment master

    Hello experts,
can anyone tell if it's possible to delete a user status profile. Once we used an user status profile in an equipment i cannot find i way to delete or change the profile to another profile.

    Hi,
You can only change the user status profile in the equipment provided no status value has been set. Once a status value is set (maybe as intital status) the field is closed for input and no change can be made to the profile.

  • User status profiles for work orders and sub-orders

    Hi Experts,
I have the following question regarding status profiles for SAP PM work orders (but I guess it relates to all user status profiles).
    Customizing
A status profile is defined for order type "PM_A", which contains an authorization key "OP" for certain user states (to be set by the ordering party)
    Situation
The ordering party A creates an order of type PM_A for contractor B, and B then creates a sub-order of type PM_A for contractor C
    Problem
    - If I assign the authorization key "OP" only to roles of party A, then party B can't set the user states reserved for the ordering party (correct for the order A->B, but not for the sub-order B->C)
    - If I assign the authorization key "OP" to roles of party A and party B, then B could set certain user states reserved for the ordering party in the order A->B, which is also wrong
    Question
Is there a way to restrict sub-orders differently than "non-sub-orders", or do I have to create a "sub-order order-type" for each order type, in order to assign them different status profiles and authorization keys?
    Thanks a lot!

    hi
since you have 3 roles to be assigned to the same order type with different authorization ,it is better you create an seperate order type for sub order and assign the user status with authorization for B and C

  • How can i configure firefox single sign-on for urls on citrix environment to affect all users

    Hello,
i tried to configure single sign-on on firefox, which is published on our citrix environment and i tried to setup it as per this article "http://support.citrix.com/article/ctx120598" this method and it only applies for a single user, is there any way of doing the config to apply for any user which is loged via citrix session...?
    Thank you,
    Manoj.

you can use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock prefs or specify new (default) values for all users and profile folders.
Place a local-settings.js file in the defaults\pref folder where also the channel-prefs.js file is located to specify using mozilla.cfg.
    pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");
    pref("general.config.obscure_value", 0);
These functions can be used in the mozilla.cfg file:
defaultPref(); // set new default value
pref(); // set pref, allow changes in current session
lockPref(); // lock pref, disallow changes
    See:
