Export audio function in logic..can it be done in real time?

hey,
does anyone know if the export audio option can be done in real time as oppose to an offline bounce. there is a sonic difference between exporting files offline and actually bouncing them individually. Enough to actually make me consider going back to the old school way of bouning each track one by one. i obviously don't wnat to do that but and very dissapointed the hear the sonic difference between the two. If i do decide to do that wouald lla to the virtual inst be sample accurate? I know the exs 24 would be but what about spectrasonics stuff or other 3rd party virtual inst. does logic ahve and interanl engine that mkaes them sample accurate?

i'm not sure i i get what you mean. if you are saying that i could lets say take 16 outs of logic and digitally record them in the pt then that is true...however logic drifts when locked to timecode which becomes obvious when you have to do mulitple passes (i guess all daws do to so extent). also let say that if i did a stereo track bounce of the music and then imported that bounce into pt for the purposes of recording vox. if i then decide to import the tracks via analog or digital, the track will be out of time with the original trak and require me to start shifting vox to compensate...not fun.
the thing that i like about exporting and bounce is that i don't have to worry about timing issues that way..it's just that bouncing sounds way better that exporting.
if i could export in real time then that would solve my problem. I guess i now see why digi has ignored requests foe offline bouncing,
any thoughts would be appreciated

Export Audio to Movie - Logic 7.2.1 MacIntel

I have been working to picture on a Macbook Pro and the export audio to picture does NOT work at all! This is with the latest version of Logic.
I also tested this on the studio G5 Dual 2.5 and it works fine, again with the latest version of Logic.
Has anybody else experienced this, or is my Macbook being sulky?

How to update the HTML file so that we can Control our process in real time

After installing following three steps as per the lookout 4 online help I am unable to Monitor and control the Process in HTML format, which was exported manually in lookout server.
1) Creating a Web Client Page in Lookout
2) Download a Lookout Web Client
3) Setting Up Own Web Server
My browser shows only the instance, which I have uploaded manually without any update

It seems like your process is not updating. When you create a Web Client, it uses ActiveX which lets you control the Lookout process fully. Make sure that you run the process. You can do this by pressing CTRL+Spacebar which puts it in Run-mode. Perhaps then you may see your graphs, etc updating.

What kind of Web Server are you using? Make sure all the settings in it are done properly. If you have LabVIEW, you can use the LabVIEW Web Server.

Hello all looks normal when the problem was presented simultaneously opened LPX LP9 and when you return to open a new project or the same project and I only have audio in my headphones output interface, my interface is a motu 828Mk2 the project exists and the interface looks normal in every normal output comprises all looks normal just never sounds like it had passed but never opened the two programs at the same time not to do, I use a digital mixer yamaha normal surface responds as ccontrolador all seems to work perfect but I only have audio output from the headphones even if I motu channel by channel and I assign output sound headset

I have a Zoom Q3 HD video/audio recorder, that records me playing the drums. How can I add the sound of the song I am playing to to this audio/video mix. Can this be done with Garage Band or iMovie?

Any clues???

Connecting itunes to an amp- can it be done using a time capsule?

I have an amp about 6 feet away from my Time Capsule and wondered if there was a cheap and easy way to be able to play music from my itunes library through the amp? My iMac is elsewhere in the house and I would like to use my iphone to remotely access the library and play music in the room where the time capsule and the amp are.
I have done some research and buying an Airport Express would be one way of doing it. Seeing as I already have a wireless network with my Time Machine & have printer sharing, etc. it seems I would be paying for a lot of functionality I already have. It also seems an expensive solution for what I need to do. Could you recommend another way of doing it?

Unfortunately the Time Capsule is missing the circuitry that the AirPort Express has that processes the AirTunes stream to get it out to your amp. So, whether the Time Capsule or your iMac is hosting the iTunes Library, in order for your amp to be able to use it, you will need the Express.

How can I monitor bitrate in real-time?

I would like to inspect movie segments for max bitrate... not the average movie bitrate but the actual bitrate at any moment. Is there a tool, plugin, or app (player) that can provide this information?

I have the same need to monitor bit-rate, but just Mpeg II files on authored media. I am trying to author DVD's with the maximum allowable bit-rate so as not to over run or crash older players. I found this little FREE app just recently: "MacDVDBitrateParanoia.app"

It was a free download from softpedia. Even the read me didn't have a developers page in it. It is as good as Free gets though. Quickly displays a graph of a DVD's bit-rate. Not frame accurate - but really lets you see the range quickly.
I remember Media Cleaner did this for all codecs back inthe pre-osx and pre compressor days when I used it.

1.Mostly the issues are related to master data.Means the user enters wrong master data such as customer master fields (Eg:-Account assignment group,Tax code,Currency,Dopp etc) due to this processing of sales order gets stuck.
this situation applies to other masters as well like material master,condition master,output master etc.
2.Issues related to outputs :-If you have prepared any Z outputs then the user will ask change in the layout,additional fields in output,Wrong values may show in the outout, New output all together.
3.Issues related to Z reports :- Same as outputs.
4.New routines or userexits might coome in picture because of some specific bussiness reqirement which is not possible to deal with standard SAP.
5.Awareness issues :-This is frquently faced because some new users might not know how to operate the systems.
6.Authorization not provided for the users for a particular transaction.

Export audio file can't be found.

When I export a single audio track only logic can see it. No other programs including the finder can see it.... This is very cryptic. Even when I create a new folder for the files I want to export, the folder does not show up in the finder; yet, if I want to import them back into Logic, Logic can see it.... Any ideas how I can find my files so that I can tweak them in Melodyne and the like...

Normally,for that case,you doesn't choose your path..so it'll auto save in the Bounce folder~User-yourname-Music-Logic-Bounces

Export audio from Presenter to MP3?

Is there a simple way to export the audio from a Presenter presentation to a another file, such as an MP3? I am an educator, and some students want the presentations as audio podcasts that they can listen to while commuting, etc.
If Presenter cannot do this, is there a workaround?
I could stitch together all the individual audio files manually, but that would be too tedious for a large presentation. Is there a program that will do this.

There is not an export audio function in Presenter. This could be for many reasons, but it may also be just lack of demand (that Adobe has heard). The other problem is that Presenter doesn't use a single MP3 file, there is one (sometimes more than one) for each slide.
As to the Audition, or other audio editing programs, I do feel that is a solution. However, I have found that recording my audio in a dedicated audio program gives me better editing capabilities and better quality. It also provides me with the ability to easily combine or export the audio for the presentation into multiple formats, meeting different needs. I personally don't use Audition because it doesn't give me the ability to take a single audio file, place markers and then split the audio file by the markers. To be fair, it may do that, but I just haven't sorted out how to do it. But, any tool should work. If you have the Creative Cloud, then try Audition. If you don't, you can try Audacity, which is free. Or, you can pick something in between, I like the AVS suite of tools, which is $59 and isn't a limited time price like they indicate. There are many others out there, so find one that you like if this will fit your need.

How to export audio timeline as PCM and not AAC?

Well this is something I have not come across before and unfortunately, I have not founjd an answer.
As you can se from the attached screen shot, I have an audio sequence that is comprised of many pieces, all of which come from uncompressed PCM sound capture. They are aiff files.
Anyway, if I try to export that sound sequence as Audio Only, my only option is as AAC, which is compressed. That cannot be an option. I need to output as PCM. Under no circumstances can I compress the sound down to a lossy format like AAC or Dolby Digital.
But I don 't see how to make it happen.
Any ideas? I also don't see how it is possible to export to Soundbooth. That can only be done with a single clip.
I do see export as an AAF file, but I have no experience with that. Would that work and then I open in Soundbooth and I save as a PCM wave file?
With that I see options to "Save as legacy AAF" and also "Embed Audio."
I'm lost. Oh yes, I am on a PC and have CS5 Production Premium.

No, if I choose audio only, I have AAC as the only option.
Now I just noticed I somehow missed I can export as an aif and will do that now and see if I can put it in Soundbooth and covert to PCM.
Not ideal.
