Export Audio MP3 with timecode for transcribing.

Hello Forum,
I have seen similar discussions but mainly seem to be workaround solutions.
Can Premiere Pro CC export MP3 audio with embedded timecode?
Thanks,
- Ryan

Export a black video along with the audio track.
Use TC effect in video. (burn in)
Everyone has a video player...not everyone has a TC audio reader.

  • Exporting audio and video together for Mpeg2 dvd

Hi, I'm trying to export audio and video together for Mpeg2 dvd.. I changed  multiplexing to DVD but is still exporting seperately is there something im missing? thanksa

To add, with Multiplexing set to NONE, check what the Audio format is set to. If "PCM", this is an uncompressed .wav file and will result in export of .m2v video and .wav audio (I think Mac uses .aif) and use "Import as Timeline" in Encore for both clips at once. Encore will automatically transcode the audio to Dolby AC-3, do NOT mess with settings in Encore, defaults are correct. If you have CS6, then in AME audio settings, there is an option for Dolby and you can use that to create the .ac3 audio and then Encore does NOT do any transcoding to audio or video. Note that older versions will also show "Dolby" but that is a free trial of a surround encoder, not the same. You just want the stereo option available in CS6, or use PCM option is fine

  • Audio Export Question - H264 with timecode

How do I get an H264 audio clip with time code on the actual audio track? This is what a transcriber wants from me.
    Thanks!

I figured out that this is impossible without the right adapters.

  • Exporting Audio - .mp3 and .wav files

    OS:                         Windows XP
    Captivate version:      3
When exporting audio files, both a .wav file and .mp3 file are exported for each audio instance listed in the Library.
Why are there two different versions of the same audio?
    Does Captivate utilize both?
    I appreciate your help.

    Hi Mukul
Thanks for that answer! Can we take it one step further and clarify something please?
Imagine that one has a MP3 file they successfully import into Captivate. It gets converted to WAV upon import. If the user does not modify it in any way during the edit process, is the same MP3 used when publishing? Or is it modified in any way going back out?

  • Media Encoder - export H.264 with timecode

I've found that when I export things in AME using the H.264 format (.mp4), the timecode is not preserved. If I use a QuickTime container and choose the H.264 codec, timecode works but the compression options are more limited. I mean profile, level, VBR, and audio bitrate. Is there some way to get these settings AND timecode?

Admittedly, those were not reliable sources.
    Often, neither is QuickTime.
The timecode is there and correct.  Ignore QT.

  • No sound when I export my movies with QuickTime for windows.

Using QuickTime Pro for windows and getting no sound on my exported movies. Won't even give me the option of adjusting the sound on options then movie settings. Any ideas? Thanks...

QuickTime Pro can't extract audio from muxed file formats (MPEG 1 or 2 and Flash).
    MPEG Streamclip (free) can.

  • Encoding audio files with QT for the internet

    Hi group,
I would like to put my showreel up on the net in a QTime format BUT make it locked, or non-downloadable...
Is this possible?, it seems with QTpro you can download anything!
    thanks
    JM

You could use a "streaming server" and free Apple software that would play your file using RTSP instead of HTTP. These files are not cached (saved) on the viewing machine.
If someone wants to keep your file they'll find a way to save it. Let them download but keep them from editing your file. As easy as drag and drop using AppleScript.

  • Exporting sound file with track markers for C D creation

I have a timeline which I need to export the audio track for a CD.
I have songs which fade into each other and I need to have markers in between the fades to have the tracks which people can forward to on the CD.
Is this possible with FCP, an audio track with metadata for CD creation?
    Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem here.
I used to export playback tracks with arrangement-markers from Garageband 6.0.4 to use them with Mainstage 2 in a live situation, with the markers to create loops for solos etc. Since I upgraded to Garageband 10 the markers in the exported aiff tracks are gone; just to make sure I bought Mainstage 3 a couple of days ago, but it made no difference: no more arrangement-markers. Did anyone try it with Logic X?
Would like to have this feature back!

  • Exporting workflow from PP CS4 for intermediate files

    Hi there,
I have native footage from Sony EX1 (mp4 or MXF container with mpeg 2 long GOP codec) which I cut and slightly filter/modify in Premiere Pro CS4.1.
Most times I shoot in 1080/50i (yes, I need that format) and need both: FullHD for Blu-ray and PAL-SD for DVDs of the same footage.
Most of you will confirm, that simply downscaling with AME gives terrible results. So I use eg. Dan Isaacs great workflow with VDub and AviSynth to deinterlace and downscale and then encode with TMPGEnc Xpress for DVDs. This gives somehow good results but I am unsure, if I am doing right.
Here is the problem: CS4 does not allow debugmode frameserver anymore so I have to render an intermediate file for further use eg with AviSynth.
But how do I get fully valid intermediate video files out from CS4? Uncompressed AVI is pure horror, its slow rendering, even on an i7-PC, and giant in file size. I would like to export with HuffYuv or Lagarith codec, for example. But everybody says, EX1-footage is, as all HD footage, TopFieldFirst. When exporting "Microsoft AVI" with those codecs one has to choose BottomFieldFirst - all other tries result in black video. I assume only BFF is valid in Microsoft AVI, somehow.
I would like to use Cineform but converting footage with NeoScene is only possible from HDV/AVCHD-camcorders and when exporting with its codec as Microsoft AVI it has the same BFF-only-problem. And I cannot afford NeoHD which would do my job perfectly with EX1-footage.
How the heck do you export HD footage (with TopFieldFirst) for further use from PP CS4, please?
Any hint is appreciated, at the moment I am lost,
    thanks a lot in advance!

    Hi Ann,
I use MPEG2 as the codec.  When you set M and N frames to 1 in the export settings dialog, you get an I-frame-only MPEG file.  That's essentially an intra-frame compression as opposed to MPEG2 DVD encoding, which is a temporal, inter-frame compression (and very lossy).  When I set the bit rate for the I-frame-only MPEG2 file to 100 Mbps, it's visually lossless.  I set the Profile to 4:2:2 to preserve the color data and the Level to High to allow the very high bit rate.
Sources for my tests have been AVCHD footage from a Panasonic HMC-150 camera (not mine, unfortunately!) and some AVC and MPEG2 HD transport streams.  I've tested 1080i60, 1080p24, 1080p30, 720p60, 720p30 and 720p24.
I don't use MRQ to export the intermediate because no scaling or deinterlacing needs to be done to the HD footage.  The intermediate file gets exported at the same frame size and field order as the source.  All of the scaling and deinterlacing (if necessary) is done by the hd2sd script in AviSynth.  So my intermediate exports run just a bit faster than real time on my 8-core system.
(Big kudos again to Dan Isaacs not only for the hd2sd script, but for giving me the proper settings for the MPEG2 intermediate export.)

  • Resize animation in browser window with toolkit for createjs

Hi. I'.m a flash newbie with little coding experience. I have an animation that I created in flash that I exported to html5 with toolkit for createjs. It looks good, however I would like to have the animation be proportionally sized to the browser window, so that it can be viewed on a variey of devices. My iPhone seems to adjust the size, however when I view it on the desktop, the bottom gets cut off, and remains the same size when I resize the browser window. Is there any way to have the animaton resize according to the browser window?
    Thanks
    Tom

Great news! I used media queries inside of CSS and got my home page to work on a nice 1280x720 effortlessly However, i have a slideshow script that has the image running 1000x400 and I am wanting to know if there is a way to access the variable of this script:
    // JavaScript Document
    var mygallery=new fadeSlideShow({
wrapperid: "slideshow", //ID of blank DIV on page to house Slideshow
dimensions: [1000, 400], //width/height of gallery in pixels. Should reflect dimensions of largest image
        imagearray: [
        ["slideshow/XavierHeadSlide1.jpg"],
            ["slideshow/XavierHeadSlide2.jpg"], ["slideshow/XavierHeadSlide3.jpg"]
//<--no trailing comma after very last image element!
        displaymode: {type:'auto', pause:1500, cycles:0, wraparound:false},
persist: false, //remember last viewed slide and recall within same session?
        fadeduration: 2000, //transition duration (milliseconds)
        descreveal: "ondemand",
        togglerid: ""
I want to access the "dimensions" variable in CSS so I can modify the size without having to create a second image that is slighty smaller... I tried setting the slideshow DIV as a CSS class, but it just simply cut off the image.
thanks a bunch for all of your help on this matter.

Thank you all for the msgs!
In audio post-production a .BWF files is used (broadcast wave file), with all the "audio information" timecode is used to sync with an external video...
To do this kind of export i would need an extrenal hardware to record it... i was trybg to know if you guys have another way os doing it.
I can sync by 1khz, 3/5/10 seconds from start... but with tc ... it would rock on!
    Thank you all...

  • Exporting synced audio with video for further editing

I'm exporting DSLR footage with synced audio in order to "bake" the audio in. I'm going to bring the export into Prelude to organize and then back into Premiere to edit. What are the best export settings (including target and maximum bitrate) to maintain top quality footage that I'll continue editing?
    Thanks!

I'd go with UT, DNxHD or AVC-I for this.

Have you tried resetting the iPad:

  • Exporting audio for transcription

    Hi.
Has anyone using FCP ever exported audio for a transcription service using only the program's audio on one channel and timecode on the other? Can this be done with the AVI or WAV format. MP3 audio would be ideal but it's not an export option from FCP. Is a plug-in or another program needed for this?

I Googled "LTC out from final cut pro". There are some expensive add on boxes that might do this, but it does not seem to be possible within the FCP toolset.
Might I ask why you need this? Maybe folks here can come up with some kind of workaround solution.
I have made Umatics in the past with LTC on an audio track for dubbing studios, but that was way back in the 80s. Thought I had seen the last of it.
What about a viz TC on a very small QuickTime video - is that a possibility?
